Short, enjoyable story about a genie at the beck and call of a sheriff and his shady wife. While on wish duty, he meets the woman he wants. No surprises, nothing that deviates from what one would expect with a genie, but it is cute.

The genie's double trouble by Wynter Daniels.
Psychic Mallory Vaughn loves her neat, organized life as a manicurist at Nocturne Falls’ busiest salon. Things are going great until Jordan—her train wreck of a twin—lands on Mallory’s doorstep with a suitcase full of trouble. Cyrus Barker is a genie who belongs to a small-town sheriff and the man’s entrepreneur wife. When Jordan wins an unwinnable jackpot from the wife, the couple dispatches Cyrus to get the money and bring Jordan back. He follows her to the strangest town he’s ever seen. To make matters worse, he loses Jordan, but finds her twin, Mallory—and is immediately entranced by her. The last thing Mallory wants is to be part of her sister’s chaos, but if she doesn’t divert the sexy genie’s attention, Jordan will stay long enough to unravel Mallory’s entire world. When Jordan disappears, Mallory’s compelled to join forces with her sister’s arch enemy in order to save her. As long as she can avoid falling for Cyrus, it’ll all work out.
A fantastic read with some great characters. Loved Mallory and Cyrus. And her twin Jordan. Loved the cover too. Brilliant. 5*.

The characters are well developed. The story has some funny, humorous parts, and overall it is an easy fun read. If you enjoy parananorma mysteries with psychic influences then this is the book you must read.

This book was provided free of charge in exchange for my honest opinion. I definitely give this a 5 ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A cite addition to the Nocturne Falls world. Cute characters and storyline. Looking forward to more.

A cute and funny paranormal romance. It had a nice unique idea and was executed well. The H&h were likeable and developed. The love did develop quick, but it had that magical feel to it that worked well with the paranormal themes in the story. Overall, a very enjoyable quick read. *I received an ARC of this book from NetGalley and this is my voluntary and honest review.

I chose to read and review this book because of Kristen Painter. I like her work and I though it would be fun to read other stories in the same world.

Unfortunately, this story fell short. It, actually, wasn't so bad, but my expectations were higher.

In none of the aspects, this story is anything special. If I had shut down my brain, I would probably have liked this story more.

The writing is average, the plot is such that it makes sense only if you don't use your common sense, the characters forgettable, the story very short, the romance non-romantic (as in nil), villains pathetic and world building absent.

While all these things were below par to me, I could still enjoy a light read. What irritated me was that the book, while riding on coattails of Kristen Painter's world, did not manage to keep the general background and stories of the original works of Painter. There was only a vaguest inference to Delanay's Delectables that made it a story of Painter's world, all the while fundamentally changing the nature of genie - who is one of the main character in this book (as the title suggests!) I absolutely hate it when authors change the background when it suits their convenience.

All that being said, my overall impression of the book was that it is fun, light read which I would have enjoyed it a little more if I had gone into it without any expectations.

I am a fan of the Nocturne Falls series and this novella fits right in. A short read but wonderfully entertaining. If you enjoy paranormal romances this series is worth looking into. I received an e-book from NetGalley in return for an unbiased review.

Cyrus is a genie who’s owner has wished for him to find Jordan who has taken the dog and to find the money won in a jackpot organised by the owners wife. Cyrus comes to Nocturne Falls where magic and wishes can come true. There is a case of mistaken identity and twin to give Cyrus a romantic interest.
This is a short novella into the town of Nocturne Falls with a light fun romance.
I was given an ARC of this book by Netgalley and the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

Mallory thought she was living her dream life. Then a hot, sexy genie Cyrus poofed into her life!

Now she has the chance to save him from a life of servitude to...well let's just say someone very UNnice! Add in Mallory's sister Jordan being kidnapped and you have a sweet little mystery to boot.

Jordan should have been the annoying sister, but I found myself wanting to know WHY she was so damn annoying! I was so happy that it was less sibling rivalry and more off-hand, clearly-got-their-favourite parents!

Honestly there isn't much to say the author created a very cute and fun book with characters that are equally has charming.

The story moves well, the characters are entertaining and readers looking for something fun and predictable will enjoy this series.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher Sugar Skull Books for a copy of Wynter Daniels The Genie's Double Trouble.

A big thank you to NetGalley and Author Collective 20 for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. This is a part of a series, but reads well as a stand alone. It's a light, cute, corny book. I didn't like Jordan, she kept lying to her sister which got her in trouble! Overall, a quick, easy read with no cliffhanger and a happy ending. 3.5 stars

The Genie's Double Trouble by Wynter Daniels is part of the Nocturne Falls Universe series, and a fun book. This is the 2nd book I have read in this series, the first one was about Jordan Vaughn. This story is about Jordan and her twin sister Mallory. Jordan is always the one in trouble, Mallory is willing to help her sister out, especially when there is a cute genie involved. This is a cute story, that is just fun. The books are short, so they are a quick read. I recommend this book for a fun escape.

I reviewed a digital arc provided by NetGalley and the publisher. Thank you.

This is a light, breezy book. It's shorter than I thought it would be. I liked that the final wish was for Cyrus to be free of being a genie. #The Genie's Double Trouble #NetGalley
