Small town? Second chance romance? Meghan Quinn? What is not to love about this book? If you read That Second Chance, It's impossible to not fall in love with those brothers. With each book, I fall more in love with this series and can't wait for the next one.

Harper Sanders returns to Port Snow a shadow of her former self. She wanted to avoid having to see her ex in the small town but needed the comfort of her home to centre herself and decide how to move. Rogan can’t stand the pain of seeing the girl he wronged all those years ago, so he becomes defensive and ends up making everything worse. He is unable to tell her how he loves her and regrets all things he did in the past to hurt her. In this second book we catch up the Knightly brothers who are still dealing with the ‘witches curse’ which is reputed to be the reason for their ill fortune in love. Enjoyable and fun. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I really loved this book. It was really good. The writing was excellent. Harper and Rogan were child hood sweethearts. It’s a second chance romance. It’s really worth a read. Anything she writes is worth a read.

Who is in the mood for emotional second chance romance? If you are, then That Forever Girl is the one for you. That Forever Girl is a dual POV romance story that the reader will get to know reader about Harper and Rogan throughout the book.
Harper and Rogan have been high school sweethearts until Rogan football career ended that he pushed Harper away. They had the most loving relationship that it was sad that they broke up. But they get reunited again as years past when Harper moves back. It is definitely unexpected but they are going to hash out a lot of things as the book progresses.
Harper has been through the ringer that she kinda lost herself. I kinda feel for her that she lost her way as the years past but she is willing to find herself again when she returns back to her hometown. It may be a little tough for her coming back especially with her ex ,Rogan, living in town. But she is a strong woman that she can push on. It may be difficult since Rogan is pushing her button and annoying as much as possible but she can do it.
Rogan football career has been the dream but it change when he got severely injury. He kinda shuts his self off that he has some regrets especially involving Harper. He gets the chance to fix it when Harper returns back. But he needs to stop being a jerk and recognize that he still loves and will always love her. It take some time for him to realize since he is a man but when he does, then he starts forming a plan. And he needs it if he wants Harper back.
Getting a second chance is very rare. Sometimes, it cannot happened but when it does, you need to graceful. And it is something that Harper and Rogan will figure out in That Forever Girl.

well, that was a disappointment.

I am a huge fan of Meghan Quinn's books but this one just wasn't my cup of tea.
Hopefully the next one is better.

That Forever Girl is the second book in the Getting Lucky series by Meghan Quinn and is definitely the show stealer! I love a great enemies-to-lovers, second chance romance and I have to say that Rogan and Harper nailed it! The relationship between the two from past to present is fun, sexy and yet absolutely heartbreaking. I enjoyed the flashbacks to Rogan and Harper’s past, which leads us to all the amazing things that Rogan has done to make amends with the past he so desperately needs to get over. I love that you really feel the connection between Rogan and Harper and get insight on how they got to where they are now. I fell head over heels for That Forever Girl and hope for more Knightly family fun ;)

Once again, Meghan Quinn delivers an incredible story of life, love and all the heartbreak that comes with both. And it is such a multi-layered story, it will leave you breathless and wanting for more. There was always something about Rogan that really called to me and I couldn't wait to read his story, so I'm glad I didn't have to wait long. I always knew there was more to him behind his gruff exterior, a reason he was that way and man, was I right! His story of love lost and then found again will just about gut you, but then it will fill you with hope, too. It's just that beautiful. And a little tragic. But what's a great love without a little tragedy, right? This is one I'll be thinking about for a while.

Be still my heart, Rogan and Harper are simply amazing, both separate and together. The curse that has the entire town buzzing may be coming to an end for one brother. Rogan and Harper were childhood bestfriends turned sweethearts. These two were going places together until fate intervened. Now however, there is a second chance at love when Harper moves back to town. The only problem? She definitely does not forgive Rogan for their past. Will love overcome obstacles?
Ms. Quinn has a knack for writing characters that you can relate to, i.e Harper, who's funny, smart, and just trying to get through a tough time. Also, characters like Rogan that you want to do more than relate to... He's strong, kind, and has accomplished so much in his life. I had all the feels reading That Forever Girl, smiles, swoons, and of course laughs. I'm adoring this series, and you definitely want to pick them up!

Is there anything better than a friends-to-lovers, second chance romance with a small town and a mystery that spans decades? No. No there is not. Especially when it's written by Meghan Quinn. This book was breathtaking. Literally. Reading Rogan and Harper's romance, then and now, was so full of humor and joy and gut-wrenching sorrow. Every single page was a pleasure to read. And I absolutely adore small towns and their quirky, nosy, inhabitants. This book has everything and then some. I cannot wait to see which cursed Knightly meets his match next.

This was an emotional read, I adore it!This is a dual point of view, second chance trope with chapters in both past and present. Rogan and Harper were high school sweethearts, engaged, when he broke off their relationship.
I liked Harper right from the start.

“I like to believe that some people hold the beat of another human’s heart in theirs, and they spend their entire lives searching for the owner.”

This is a second chance mixed with enemies to lovers.The chemistry between Rogan and Harper, even though he tried to fight it, was great and you can feel everything!

Harper was meant to be Rogan’s Forever Girl. But a horrendous accident drove a wedge between the childhood sweethearts.

Years have passed since the two have seen one another, but Harper is back home and Rogan is overwhelmed.

Can the two move past the terrible way their relationship ended and maybe give it another try? Is home a person, a place or a feeling?


Told with flashbacks and containing a little mystery I loved the way this story unfolded.

This is the second in a series about the Knightly brothers. I haven’t read the first, so this totally works as a stand-alone. I’m excited to read the others.

This was a sweet second chance romance about loss and healing. Told with some flashbacks into the past, it was a really heartfelt, touching story that kept me turning the pages and was exactly what I needed. Because, I admit it, second chance is my jam, my favorite trope!

Harper and Rogan were so intense at times I thought I was going to combust! They grew up together and were high school sweethearts but their lives were torn apart. There was so much history, broken hearts and feelings between the two of them. Rogan Knightly is a broken hero, he made some bad decisions and it is time for him to make a change that will bring him the happiness he deserves. The Knightly brothers are convinced they are cursed with doomed relationships, but Rogan’s mother is determined to bring Harper and Rogan back together.

Harper is back in Port Snow to help her father and will soon figure out that the love she had for Rogan never really went away. I loved watching how things played out between these two. There were times when I was so frustrated with Rogan. But it didn't ruin anything for me. It added to the tension, the anticipation of a happy ending. Rogan worked hard to preserve the memories he had with Harper, it was his way to stay connected to her.

I absolutely loved these characters, they were meant to be together. Harper is strong, beautiful and compassionate. I loved how Rogan was charming and really just a great guy. This story had so much heart and I felt an immediate strong connection to the characters and their story. It had the right amount of angst and emotion. The writing was flawless and I loved how the flashbacks were executed. I can’t wait to continue on with this series, and find out what happens with the other Knightly brothers.

This series keeps getting better with each installment. I love all these characters and want to go to Maine now.

Harper and Rogan were best friends and as they grew up things started to change between them. Neither of them knew how to deal with the changes. It was young love until it wasn’t anymore. Now years later they are both back home and the chemistry is still there. It’s hard to stay away from each other when everyone is meddling. They can all see what Harper and Rogan are too stubborn to see.

Meghan Quinn is one my favorite authors and she always writes books that pull me in from page one.

I really enjoyed Harper and Rogan’s story. Meghan Quinn’s writing never disappoints. This story has both funny and heart tugging moments. I always know that I will get a good story and I’m looking forward to the next story from her.

This is the second book in the Knightley brothers series and it is every bit as good as the first, and maybe better. Meghan Quinn has written the perfect romance novel- beautiful people, second chances and happily ever after. Rogan is an absolute dream and the twist about why he and Harper originally broke up is told with a successfully written flashback/present day back and forth. I highly recommend and look forward to reading more in the series- i need to know about Brig and Reid.

Harper Sanders has finally returned and he may just get his chance of repairing their relationship he destroyed so many years ago. Fear had consumed him and the overwhelming need to focus on the days ahead was something that consumed him. Working nonstop was all he could do and slowly become someone he no longer was disgusted to see in the mirror. A curse that seemed to follow his family doomed every relationship but she was the only woman he could envision building a life with. The only way to do it was to take baby steps and become friends with her no matter the cost. She was simply his life and understood him better than anyone.

High school sweethearts! Second chance romance! The Knightly brothers are back and now it is Rogan's turn to find love. Rogan never expected to see his high school/college sweetheart, Harper, back in Port Snow. Their breakup was terrible and they haven't spoken since. So to have her back in town and back in his life, is very disconcerting.

Harper and Rogan's love story is told through flashbacks and they were so much fun to read. The author starts at day one and from there we go on a journey with them. We get to see the awkward stages of their new relationship grow into the solid high school sweetheart relationship that defined their teenage years. But something or someone clearly destroyed that and I needed to know what or who that was. Because let's be honest, present Rogan and past Rogan are two completely different people and when I found out what happened I let out a very loud "OMG NOOOOOOO!" Talk about a plot twist.

Harper and Rogan's love story is one that I really enjoyed. There is plenty of nostalgic groveling (that's a thing, right?) that tugged at my heart strings, but I was definitely Team Harper throughout the book. So I definitely appreciated the warranted groveling.

I just love the Knightly family! There are a lot of lighthearted moments between the brothers, but there are also some very funny interactions between them that made me laugh out loud more than once. There is nothing like some brotherly love (aka endless teasing & shit stirring) to keep things interesting.

Meghan Quinn, whose books can be hit or miss with me, delivered a win with That Forever Girl.

Set in a sweet small town with lots of amazing characters, this is a stand alone in a series about the Knightley Brothers. I did not read book one and did not have trouble following the story but I definitely will go back and read it as I fell in love with these guys.

Our Heroine, Harper, has moved back to her hometown after a failed relationship and has to deal with seeing her first and only true love, Rogan, and his whole family at every turn of the corner. Rogan wants nothing to do with Harper and is still nursing his own broken heart over their lost love.

Now, Rogan is a jerk. Or at least he is in the beginning. But he begins to redeem himself quickly and even when he's being a turd, you can feel his pain. Meghan did a great job with the emotion in this book and I definitely cried a few times. I liked Harper a lot but I was rooting for her to. buck up and tell Rogan to go jump off a cliff for a while. She does stand up for herself after a while and becomes a heroine I would love to be friends with.

There is a lovely backstory happening about a Christmas movie (like a Hallmark movie) being shot in the town they live in and this is what brings Rogan and Harper together. I was super happy to see these two back together when it happens as their childhood friendship (the story is told from the present and the past) and future romance makes it so clear they are soulmates.

I'm excited to the next two brothers to get their book and go back to read the first one!

After reading the first in this series (That Second Chance) I was really looking forward to the second book and Rogan’s story; and while some background is always beneficial, I found the constant flashbacks and the dual storylines within this book disconcerting. This also served to make me frustrated with the main characters and unable to connect with them as I would have liked. I can only hope that book three gets back on track, and sticks to one storyline.
