What a fantastic addition to the Getting Lucky series. Rogan and Harper are such an amazing couple. The past has a way of haunting you and for Harper, it has driven her back home to Port Snow, Maine. One major problem, it is also the home of her high school sweetheart, college love and one time fiance, Rogan.
Rogan, has a past that stays with him everyday. Not only did he lose the love of his life, he lost a part of himself and career . When tragedy strikes Rogan, lashes out at the one person who would always have his back.
The twists and turns this story takes is riveting. The highs and lows pull on your heart string.
I loved this story so much and look forward to more in this series.

This is the second book in the Getting Lucky series by this author and after reading the first book, That Second Chance, I had no doubt that I was going to adore Rogan and Harpers love story just as much. Small town romances are some of my favorites and you can't get any better than Port Snow, Maine -- charming, heartwarming, sweet and sexy. And I love these Knightly brothers! Obviously, I can't wait for Reid and Brig's stories, not to mention more hilarious banter and texts among the 4 of them. I loved how the mystery surrounding Rogan's leg and what brought Harper back to Port Snow -- kept me reading into the night. Another winner in the very enjoyable Getting Lucky series. I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC for NetGalley.

Another great read from Meghan Quinn, I love the second chance love trope and this one didn’t disappoint at all. I loved the story, the characters had real chemistry and were relatable, a well told and sweet romance, great to curl up with and feel warm and fuzzy.

That Forever Girl is a good read. It's book two in the Getting Lucky series but it can be read as a standalone. The series follows the Knightly brothers and each book focuses on a different brother. This book is Rogan's story. There are quite a few Knightly brothers and starting this not right after I read this first one, I was like which one is Rogan. Rogan is a strong, good character. Haprer for him is the girl that got away and now she's back in town. I so wanted to find out what happened to them in the past and we do get the whole story. Harper is a great girl and I loved her character. These two have great chemistry. I was so routeing for them. I'm hooked on the Knightly brothers and the small town feelings of Port Snow.

4 1/2 Stars!

I really enjoyed this second chance romance. I liked how Meghan did alternating points of view so you could see how Rogan and Harper felt in the situation. I also really liked the aspect that they were best friends before they started to date one another.

Sometimes when we love someone we tend to hurt them but love can ultimately be the redeeming factor. I cannot wait to read the rest of the Knightly brothers books!

OK I just love this whole world of Port Snow, take me away to this fictional universe because I never want to leave this picturesque, characterful town! The Knightly brothers are quickly becoming my favourites of Meghan's men, with every book in the Getting Lucky Series we learn more and I am addicted to all things Knightly!

Rogan and Harper's story is a true second chance romance, they grew up together as best friends and ended up as high school sweethearts. College happened and one night changes their whole relationship and both their worlds fall apart. The set up of the book flicks back and forth between past and present to map out Harper and Rogan's relationship. Starting from their friendship as preteens, you can see how they have reached the position they are in at present, unable to be around each other. Meghan sets up the distinction between past and present clearly, with chapter headings so you don't get lost in the differing timelines. As you read through their past relationship you cannot doubt that Rogan and Harper are it for each other, yet you wonder what happened to rip them both apart.

In the present we have a very different Rogan and Harper, 7 years have passed since they last saw each other and things are tense. It's clear there are unresolved feelings yet an attraction that has only increased with time too. I don't mind an asshole Hero in a book and Rogan indeed acts like a dick towards Harper, while his brothers cringe watching their him dig a deeper hole for himself. Did I think Rogan was an douche - yes, there is no excuse for his rudeness; that said I think it's a totally realistic behaviour for both Rogan and Harper when they have the history they have with each other and at this point in the story we have no clue about what happened between them. Harper is a lovable heroine, a woman not sure who she is and returns home to figure it all out not expecting to come face to face with Rogan where he strips her defences leaving her open to all the emotions she has been trying to hold down.

I don't want to go too much into this story and there are a lot of elements at play, from a childhood romance mystery, self discovery, overcoming life changing events and the healing of friendship and love. Meghan writes the Knightly brothers banter brilliantly, packing so much character into each it's clear how different their personalities are. I said it when reading Griffin's book that Reid is the Knightly man for me and I am sticking to it! When Rogan gets his butt in gear and finally decides to own his feelings for Harper the book gets a different energy, it lifts and Rogan brings out his playful side. I mean I loved Broody Rogan but playful, flirtatious Rogan is lickable!

That Forever girl was such a fabulous read for me, Meghan has built this town and it's characters so well I can visualise it perfectly, so much so I don't want to leave the Port Snow bubble I am in when I am reading the Getting Lucky Series. I challenge anyone to read this books and not fall in love with the quaint and charming town or it's inhabitants. So why not 5 stars? For the simple reason of I just wanted a little more about the obstacles both Hero and heroine faced that brought them to where they are now. I felt it was all rounded up in the last 8 - 10% of the novel and as touching and as real as the moments were I wanted just a smidge more. The subject matters I am referring to are relevant and powerful and ones that not many authors have the confidence to write about especially Rogan's, I would have loved to explore it just a little more. That is me being SUPER fussy because this book is crazy good and I cannot tell you how much I want to read Brig and my man Reid's stories because they are so different and I know Meghan is going to slay!

This is why second chance romance will always be a favourite of mine!!

Rogan and Harper have history and the author didn't shy away from it. It made the story richer. I loved the banter, the humour, the emotions. It was a really well written small town romance with enough painful moments to remind you that true love often isn't easy. I am definitely going to check out other stories in the series too.

If there’s one thing I know for sure about my life, it’s that you’ll be in it.

It’s no secret I adore Meghan Quinn’s books, and I’ve fallen head over heels with her latest series, Getting Lucky. They are family-centric, small-town love stories brimming with charm, humor, passion, romance and splashes of intrigue. That Forever Girl is the second, standalone book, and it’s a second-chance romance that delivers all the feels. Rogan and Harper were childhood best friends, who fell deeply in love while they were in high school. They had their future mapped out, but when Rogan’s life took an unexpected turn, he ended their relationship and broke her heart. Now, Harper has moved back home years later, and she and Rogan are forced to see one another again and face their painful past. Their slow reconciliation is sweet, sexy, intensely emotional and peppered with a few surprises, and you cannot help but root for these two to find their happily ever after.

Rogan and Harper are childhood friends who become high school and college sweethearts. It appears that they'll spend forever together until a tragic incident completely derails their relationship, and Rogan becomes a heartless ahole!

Fast forward to present day, and Rogan is living in Port Snow, buying up special properties and renovating them. When Harper returns home, Rogan is unable to contain himself and continues to be horrible to Harper lobbing insults and driving her away again. It's a long road and includes pieces of backstory from early in their relationship that reveal his true motives for his real estate purchases, and his true feelings for Harper.

While I always appreciate the banter and laughs in Meghan's books (and this one has plenty between the brothers!), Rogan was exceptionally harsh! It's not the norm for one of Meghan's heroes, but after reading his story you get it. Somewhat. Kinda.

Hoping that the remaining brothers are less jerkish.

Once again, Meghan delivers a juicy and exciting read! That Forever Girl is everything I needed in a romance. The angst from the turbulent relationship between Rogan and his former flame Harper, the slow burn between them, and some humor to tie it all together. Oh, and I don't want to forget that Meghan added one of my favorite things in the whole world into the mix- a CHRISTMAS MOVIE being filmed in Port Snow! It didn't get past me that LOVEMARK was incorporated (just like Hallmark). This made me absolutely GIDDY! I love Hallmark Christmas movies and this added to my excitement to not only the book, but to the upcoming movies this season! All in all, this book is a total winner based on all these points and more.

If you're looking for a book that exudes love then you can't go wrong with a Meghan Quinn book. She writes with so much heart that it makes readers feel deeply connected to the stories and characters! I highly recommend this one- it's another 5 star winner!

„If there’s one thing I know for sure about my life, it’s that you’ll be in it.”

Port Snow and Knightly brothers completely stole my heart. In That Forever Girl Meghan Quinn took me on an emotional journey paved with heartbreak, regrets, disappointment and longing. But she also showed me the magic of feelings and gave me hope, because Harper and Rogan’s story is the proof that great love deserves a second chance. And all that takes place in one of the most wonderful locations ever described- picturesque town on the Maine coast. I’m totally enchanted with this place and Rogan and Harper’s love story!

I like how Meghan Quinn turned friends-to-lovers story into second chance romance. The past interweaves with the present and thanks to that we can fully experience this incredible tale- from just a friendship, the first kiss, plans for the future, and an awful tragedy that drifted Harper and Rogan apart to the big comeback and efforts to get another chance. There were moments that melted my heart, but also those that made me sad. I loved Rogan, despite that he behaved like a jerk for the good part of this story. When all the pieces of puzzle came together, I just swooned! I loved Harper for finding content in common things- she wasn’t career driven nor money hungry. To feel fulfilled, she just needed a man she loved by her side and kids. Oh, and the power to forgive, because it’s obvious that she already found the man of her dreams ;)

That Forever Girl is a heartwarming and charming small town story. It captivates, makes you swoon and makes you laugh. The Knightly clan is a family you would love to be a part of and Port Snow residents will make you want to move there. I’m delighted with this book and Meghan’s writing skills, because when I was reading this story, I felt like a bystander of events.
Dear Mrs. Quinn- give me another Knighly brother, please! I want to stay in Port Snow forever!

This was such a great second chance story! Oh the angst between these two, the layers of love and hurt and snark built up through the years! You felt it in your heart for these two, just begging them to open their eyes and follow their hearts. Both far too stubborn for their own good. Finding and working toward forgiveness, getting over the fear of heartbreak, hurt, anger, and expectations. Rogan's family, the whole small town, I loved the feel of it, I want to live there. Rogan and Harper's story had everything I've come to know love and expect from Ms. Quinn, plenty of heart, plenty of heat and lots of laughs. Also I really loved the background story within the story, a sweet bonus. I eagerly await the rest of the Knightly's stories.

Now it is up to Rogan to beat the gypsy's curse!

He has been in an emotional slump since the accident with his leg. Giving up his dreams of the NFL affected more than his career. It also impacted his relationship with Harper. They had been together forever. They had plans for a bright future. After the accident, he no longer saw his future with Harper.

After hurting her with a cruel breakup, he dedicated his life to make something of himself. This is how his real estate business has flourished and he has become well off and rich in everything but a one true love. All his brothers and sister worry about him. His parents keep a close eye on him. But emotionally he is a changed man.

Now, big surprise! Harper has come back to town to stay with her father. Is she back indefinitely? How can he possibly face her after all these years?

True love never dies. It may hide inside while you deal with your emotions, but in the end, it will flourish if you just pay attention and mature.

I am voluntarily reviewing this book. Thanks to the author for sharing a copy with me.

I’m a sucker for second chance romances and add in the small town and I’m hooked. And who better to give me all the feels with a little humor and a mix of sexiness than Meghan Quinn. She writes great love stories and gives us those sexy Knightly men.

Rogan and Harper’s story pulls on the heart strings while breaking your heart all at the same time. Meghan mixed the past with the future weaving a beautiful love story. Add in the mystery twist and she penned a perfect read with humor, mystery, sexiness and romance all wrapped up together.

I can’t wait for more of those brothers. There’s so much to uncover.

Second Chance Romance at its best!!!
That Forever Girl has all the feels you want and expect in a great read and it’s a story that will certainly get your heart fluttering. It’s a small town romance, it’s about young love and it’s a second chance romance so what more could you want.....
Harper Saunders left Port Snow many moons ago, she left when Rogan Knightly pushed her away but now she is back but can both Harper and Rogan forgive the past and all the pain that went with it.
This booked touched me on so many levels, it was an emotional read that tugged on my heartstrings, it’s a beautifully written love story that at times had me shedding a tear, it’s about hope as well as passion and the chemistry Harper and Rogan share is sizzling and intense and let’s not forget the humour because that is something this author is known for and once again she got the perfect mix of laughter, love and passion. That Forever Girl ticked all my boxes and I can’t wait to see where we go next in this great series.

I can hear all the readers say, "Awww." And then grab tissues for happy tears. Rogan and Harper have put themselves through the ringer. Childhood sweethearts that went different ways after a life changing event. After seven years they have another chance. Besides the attitude Rogan gives her there is a zing between them. And then there's his brothers, we met Griffin in book one. Their playful group texts and craziness as close brothers brought comedic relief and plenty of smiles. The small town life is wonderful for unusual and funny characters, also. All around a perfect read, stand alone, and very romantic. My copy came through Netgalley.

What is forever and how long does it last? By definition; forever is a time that is eternal and never ending, and is something that lasts for an endless period of time. Rogan and Harper had loved each forever and a day, and had been friends since the sixth grade. As their relationship progressed, they had pledged to love each other until the end of time. But nothing ever happens as we envision it in our dreams and when Rogan’s life was turned upside down, he withdrew into himself and pushed everyone away, including Harper. It was the worst day of their lives and no one knew what the future held for either of them, or if their paths would ever cross again. Rogan felt undeserving of being anywhere near Harper, and when she returned home to Port Snow, he knew his quiet and lonely life would never be the same. Her magnetic personality and beauty drew him to her in an instant, which made him relive all of their memories, both good and bad. The pain was unbearable, but it was worth it to just be in the presence of the only woman he would ever love, his forever girl.

That Forever Girl.... so much emotion.

Friend to lovers... second chance romance... enemies to lovers...small town romance... real life hard issues... all together in this fabulous book! Meghan Quinn does an amazing job with Rogan and Harper.

It flows so well from past to present! This story gave all the feels as it was heartbreaking and beautiful as Rogan and Harper were torn apart yet come back together when something tragic happens and how people react and how if affects them.

Their support system and families are incredible. The texting of the Knightly brothers make you laugh and Jen's responses bring in the fun, the past of Harper and Rogan is amazing, watching this book develop is why I love Meghan Quinn's writing so much. It is complex yet real!

I’m not a fan of one chapter being in the past and the next in the present. And that’s how Rogan & Harper’s story is set up. I found myself skipping ahead to just the present chapters & skipping the past ones. And eventually just skipping to the end.

I am a huge fan of Meghan Quinn, but this book just was not for me.

I voluntarily reviewed this book.

Heartbreaking, angsty and deeply romantic with a touch of humor, That Forever Girl is the ultimate second chance romance. Mixing flashbacks that show the sweet roots of Rogan and Harper’s relationship with the stark present of where they are now, this book pulls on all your heartstrings and lays out their relationship from start to finish to future. It’s heavier and more serious than Meghan Quinn’s usual style, but so gripping and immersive. I loved that the angst of the present was mixed with the lightness of the past, and of course anyone who read the first book in the series knows that Rogan’s brothers add plenty of humor.

The story follows Harper as she moves back home, forcing her to come face to face with her high school sweetheart and love her life 7 years after he shattered her heart. Rogan and Harper were the perfect couple, best friends turned lovers who became engaged in college only for things to fall apart after Rogan suffered a devastating injury. In his darkest hour, he pushed Harper away and time has only made it clearer what a huge mistake Rogan made. He knows he acted horribly and stands no chance of a future with Harper, but Rogan can’t help the fact that he will love her til the day he dies. As they begin spending more time together, those old feelings are brought to the surface and their tension-filled interactions lead Harper and Rogan to wonder if they could ever get back what they once had.

It’s a complex relationship and the writing is so fantastic that even when things seem bleak, you can’t help rooting for these two. Harper was always Rogan’s forever girl, and though their love was broken by his darkness, that’s never changed. Rogan’s brother Brig describes it best when he says that the “boy loses girl” section of their story is a tad longer than normal - it’s not an easy road back to happily ever after. Despite that, I loved this story and how well Meghan Quinn built their relationship. The reader definitely gets a true sense of their history together, and the steps Rogan has made to ensure he’s the man Harper deserves in the future. I was ecstatic to receive an ARC from NetGalley and am voluntarily leaving a review of this fantastic book.
