I’m seriously falling in love with Port Snow.

Small town lives are a guilty pleasure, add on a second chance, enemies to lovers, a feisty red head and a wounded alpha and I’m in heaven!

Rogan was everything and much more. Brooding as ever. Was drug through hell and back and survived the flames...But at the end of the day he was an amazing book boyfriend.

I liked Harper, I did. She was a lost nomad looking for her forever home. I didn’t connect with her beyond that. Her past dark moments were glazed over and left at the end. Which didn’t sit well with me, I felt it was a missed opportunity. Especially given we saw those dark moments Rogan went through.

I’m excited for the next book, we learned a bit more about the rest of the Knightley clan and I can’t wait!

Another fabulously sweet romance for another of the Knightly brothers. Rogan Knightly got his second chance with his first love, Harper Sanders, and it was an emotional transformation to being the man she deserved.

In book one of this delightful series, we get to know a little about the Knightly brothers, but Roger Knightly was the most aloof. He was the broody one of the bunch and all the while I kept thinking...why? What happened to him to be so jaded and cynical? Well, now I know and totally understand.

At a young age he and Harper had their lives all mapped out. A happily ever after was inevitable with those two. Even the town knew it. What started as a friendship became SO MUCH MORE as they matured and it was something only imagined by some. It truly was a beautiful thing they had. But one night changed it all and Rogen didn’t handle it well. He pushed Harper and everyone away. Now that he’s older and had everything he could ever want, he’s still so lonely. So Harper returning to town is his second chance. A chance to make things right and get back on track with that fairytale life they planned for all those years ago.

I loved the detailed transformation that I could practically see. The friction between them in the beginning as then it was like a flower blooming. I could see Rogan change before my very eyes. Harper truly was his missing piece and once the puzzle was while again, he became the man he was always meant to be.

This series truly is wonderful. Their like Hallmark movies in paper [or digital if you read it in ebook]. I’ve loved every moment I’ve spend with the Knightly family and their adorable little town of Port Snow. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for Reid and Brig.

So I have heard many great things about this author and I finally decided to give her a try.
I couldn’t get into this one.
At all.
I really did try.

This might be a great story to some, but I gave up at 12%. I couldn’t push my way through it.

I don’t know how Meghan makes each hero from her books more loveable than the last, but somehow she does! I fall head over heels in love with every single one, every single time. Rogue is no exception. He is the tortured, focused brother. He is the one that tries so hard to do better but can’t see how far he’s come. He blames himself for so much. And then we have Harper. She’s so hurt from the past and also from a recent situation. She’s come home to escape that second situation and run head first into the first heartbreak. Rogan is her one true love, high school sweethearts turned bitter enemies. He hurt her so bad and she’s afraid to let him in again. He tries to stay away but his heart knows what it wants. This story will hold your feelings hostage until it’s done with them. Just let go and enjoy the ride. Every Meghan book delivers that feel good, laugh out loud romance that we all want in our lives.

Harper recently returned to her hometown after a seven-year absence. Her visits home have been few and far between, as she didn’t want to run into the ex-fiancé who shattered her world.

As the stories of their past and their future unfold, readers can’t help but root for the tortured couple. It was a joy to see them find their happily ever after!

Man, I really want to move to Port Snow, Maine!!! That Forever Girl is the second installment in the Getting Lucky series and I couldn’t wait to get my hands on Rogan and Harper’s story!! You can definitely read That Forever Girl as a standalone, but I highly encourage you start this series from book #1 (That Second Chance) because it’s so good!

That Forever Girl centers around Rogan and Harper who were High School sweethearts who both thought they would have their happily ever after as husband and wife, but sadly that didn’t happen! During college an unfortunate and tragic event happened that ultimately had Rogan breaking up with Harper and destroying her heart! Now 7 years later, Harper is back in town and Rogan isn’t sure how to react. Both Harper and Rogan have never lost those intense feelings for each other, but neither of them want to admit to it!!! Ohhhhhhhh my, my,my!!

I was ALL IN the entire way through!! Meghan Quinn never disappoints so I knew I would love what she had in store for Rogan and Harper! This novel jumps between the past and present day which worked perfectly with the storyline. I also loved catching up with all the characters. That Forever Girl is a total 5 star read that you won’t be able to put down! Maybe it’s because I have a soft spot for second chance romances or maybe it’s the awesome cast of characters, but That Forever Girl is my favorite novel from Meghan Quinn to date! I am so flipping excited for the next book in this awesome series!!

A lovely, heartwarming, second-chance romance! Ms. Quinn has a gift for infusing a richness of heart into the very fabric of a small-town. And, without tipping the scale into cheesy clichés. I had a hard time liking Rogan even after he decided to change. He was just so horribly cruel and despicable to Harper. As the layers unraveled, I understood his reasons but I still yearned to see more of his emotional redemption and not just his outward changes. Harper's character, though, was absolutely perfect for this story! The author penned her with such empathy that the tears were threatening more than a few times throughout the book! Overall, it was with a sigh and a smile I closed that last page. Satisfied, happy and looking forward to the next book in this series!

Ah another Knightly brother. I’m really liking all of the brothers, their group texts are pretty entertaining. I do have to say that it took me a minute to not want to junk punch Rogan. For a hot minute there, he was kinda being a dick to Harper when she came back to town. There was a lot of guilt going around and he finally pulled his head outta his booty so that helped. Overall it’s a great second chance and it got me a wee bit emotional a time or two.

That Forever Girl was a great installment to the Getting Lucky series! I really liked the way Ms. Quinn went back and forth between the past and the present to let Rogan and Harper's story gradually unfold. It felt like a very natural way to share the information with the reader and had an easy flow. It also made it more heartbreaking at times to go from a chapter where they were young and happily in love to a chapter where they weren't even speaking. It really made the harshness of their current reality stand out.

Let me just say....Meghan Quinn, you are killin' me with Rogan! Seriously, I love how you wrote him....so clever. He's the absolute man you can't help but dislike for his treatment of the girl through a good portion of the story but when all the pieces start coming together, you understand him better and can embrace his surly character a little more. Then when his secrets surface and you know what he's really been up to....be still my heart! By the end of the book, I was sold....all in...Team Rogan.

Then there is our leading lady, Harper. She mysteriously appears back in Port Snow. Her reasons for moving back are unclear but it's evident that she is hiding something. It's also quite obvious that she's uncomfortable being around Rogan and that she has unrequited feelings where he's concerned. Rogan doesn't hide his displeasure that Harper is back in town either and initially tries to avoid interacting with her as much as possible. Unfortunately for both of them, everyone else in town has other plans and tries to throw them together as much as possible, especially Rogan's family.

I think it's safe to say that I love the Knightly family. One of my favorite parts in the book is the texting banter between the brothers - - it's absolutely hilarious and when you throw their sister in there for good measure, it's even better. I'm totally hooked on Port Snow and this series! I can't wait to see who gets their story next!

When i first read The Second Chance i was drawn the Rogan, he was stand-off-ish compared to his brothers, he was more serious but also just had this thing about him that i couldn't put my finger on. Like don't get me wrong i love all the Knightley brothers but Rogan is something else.
When i saw that this book was about Rogan i done a little happy dance, i totally thought he was going to be the last brother you hear about.
Rogan and Harper's story is one of love and heartbreak and second chances but also power from within that they never knew they had. They had so much time to grow and reflect on themselves into the people they become and the absolute love they have for each other.
At first Rogan was like a bear with a sore head and was pretty unbearable (see what i did there) but he has his reasons, strong reasons that he needed to overcome by himself.
Harper was so strong. I loved her, she was fiesty and stood toe to toe with Rogan at times and i was totally fist pumping the air like "You go girl. Stand your ground"
All in all this book was beautiful. I needed this book in my life and I'm so greatful that Meghan wrote it.
I pray to see Reid and Brig's story soon ;)

I love Meghan Quinn's books. They are usually so cute, funny, and the characters have so much chemistry. However, That Forever Girl didn't work for me. I just didn't feel the connection between the characters and I felt like something was missing.

I will of course still read more from Meghan and maybe this was just a case of the book not working for me!

So here's the thing. I don't like flashbacks that happen every other chapter. This is one thing that happens in romance stories where the couple has a history, or at least this book it does. After the first two flashbacks (whole chapters of Rogan and Harper's high school love story), I started skipping those chapters. I really wanted to read this book because I loved the first book in the series and wanted to read them all. Once I started skipping the flashback series, I enjoyed the book a lot more.

Harper Sanders is back in Port Snow after seven years. All she wants is to figure out her life and move on from her broken past, what better place to do that than home with her dad. The only problem with going home after so many years is that it's never the same and holds the ghosts of memories. Rogan Knightly never believed in "the curse". He knows exactly why his love is broken, in fact, he did broke it on purpose. After seeing Harper for the first time since she returned to town, Rogan can't ignore her, now all he wants to do is get her to fall back in love with him. The only problem is that he can't seem to stop being a jerk.

I absolutely adored this book. It was not a typical Meghan Quinn book, I haven't read every book she's written, but I have read quite a few, I can always count on her to be funny, while this book had funny moments, it had PLENTY of angst too. It was honestly a little bit of almost every trope, second chance, enemies to lovers, unrequited. I just loved it all. Harper and Rogan's first interaction (and let's be honest, the next few) had me wanting to kick him in the nuts for her, in the beginning of the book, I was rooting for them to NOT be together. As the book went on and I saw glimpses of their past it made his treatment of her that much harder to get over. When he did eventually realize what he wanted (to be with Harper of course) and he turned on the charm, holy crap was he charming and hard to hate. The funniest part of the entire book are the group texts between the Knightly siblings, they had me cracking up every time. This is a fantastic follow up to the first book, I'm excited to see who gets paired up net! Definitely recommend.

I'm not sure where to begin.
This story really tugged at my heart. I really loved being back in Port Snow and reading about the Knightly family.
This is Rogan's story and what an absolutely beautiful heartwarming but also sad story.
When his past love Harper moves back to town, nothing is quite the same for Rogan. I swear my heart was in overdrive at his inner turmoil. But had had such amazing support from his family, especially his brothers. What I truly loved about this book was the beautiful family bond, their text messages and overwhelming support for him. Made me want to be a part of the town. Can Rogan and Harper overcome the past and look to the future??
I laughed, cried and felt so many emotions for the characters. This was such a beautiful story, the author should be incredibly proud of what she has written.

I knew reading the first book in this series, that Rogan’s tale was going to hurt, and it did. He’s a young man, making a name for himself towards a football career when one night things change dramatically. His world is turned upside down and unfortunately he pushes away the one person he needs the most.

Seven years down the track, he is still trying to prove to himself that he can have a full filling life after football when Harper comes home for good. She herself is not only dealing with having to see her ex fiancé around town, but needing to find solace in her familiar surroundings and recover from a nasty relationship of two years. It’s not until Rogan runs into Harper a few times around town that he feels more hope than he’d ever thought possible.

Rogan is the gruff brooding male that is broken and suffering a few wounds. I loved him! You could feel deep down his anguish and having the flashbacks gave you another aspect of his personality. Once he realized what he had been working towards all along over the last seven years, he didn’t take his time to steer his energy into winning back Harper as his Forever Girl. Harper wasn’t as quick to forget how much heartache they both endured back in college and she gave him a run for his money. She had a lot of personal growth in this book, more so than Rogan, and she needed reassurance that it wouldn’t happen again. I loved her vulnerability and sensitivity she displayed. I think if she didn’t have the emotions as she did, their circumstance would have hardened her to someone totally different.

I also want to add how much the Knightly family dynamics play into these books. The brothers banter is a treasure and their sister Jen whips them up too. There are still the two younger brothers books to come and these boys need some maturity before they can find their HEA’s but I’m so keen to read their stories.

Rogan and Harper were best friends who became sweethearts long ago but when tragedy strikes Rogan, he pushes Harper away. Years later, Harper comes back to the small town where they lived to escape an abusive relationship. To Rogan and Harper's chagrin, everyone in town is trying to get them back together. They've never gotten over each other but are convinced that a relationship wouldn't work. It takes a town, a movie, and overcoming a curse to get them back together. Enjoyable romance.

I've come to the conclusion with this book that Meghan Quinn and I just do not mix. I WANT to like her books because so many people rave about them but the few that I have read have all been disappointing, this one included. I found the characters immature for their age and therefore hard to connect with. I just don't get her brand of humor I guess.

Oh how I love the town of Port Snow and the fabulously funny Knightly family!

This story brings us back, this story is about the quiet, taciturn Rogan Knightly and Harper.

I absolutely fell in love with this story, the brokenness, the heartbreak and then the redemption. Oh the way that Rogan fights for what he wants is beautiful. What he does to keep his love and memories for what he once had is one of the most swooniest and romantical endeavor I have read ever!

The humor and dialogue between the Knightly siblings is classic Ms. Quinn and I was laughing out loud!

I admired how Ms. Quinn wrote of a love that was all encompassing. Rogan and Harper were true soul mates, they made their plans together and how they revolved around each other could be off putting for some (the whole "find yourself before you love someone else theory") but the way Ms. Quinn described it was beautiful and a true testament to her writing talent.

There are twists and bit of a mystery that kept me riveted until the very end. I was both surprised and amazed!

I so wish Port Snow was a real town, I would move there in a heartbeat.  The world that Ms. Quinn creates is truly magical with this series! I cannot wait to read more!

This one is my favorite of the series so far. A second chance storyline that stole my heart. Childhood best friend turn sweethearts with a tragic twist. I loved the chemistry between Rogan and Harper and was completely drawn in to their journey. I highly recommend this book.

The boys's dad was a hoot, “it’s cute you asked that, son, but no. It’s my job as a parent to meddle. Without my superior meddling and your mother’s ability to easily guilt the five of you kids, you all would be pantsless, with not a penny to your names.” A young Rogan was quite the charming Rogan, “Do I like your dress? Uh, your nipples are hard as ****, and I have the perfect view of your cleavage. I’m pretty sure this is my favorite dress of all time.” Smiling wickedly, I add, “Then again, when are your nipples not hard?” Rogan tries to be the gentleman but his thoughts have other ideas, "there is no way I’m going to be able to be decent tonight, not with her dressed like that. Hell, I’m seconds away from pushing her up against the wall and showing..." There are times Rogan actually makes sense, “I’m a man, Harper. I’m always horny.” I liked this book, I adorwd Rogan.
