I just fell more in love with the town of Port Snow in That Forever Girl......and I fell hard for Rogan Knightly! He's such a grumpy, broody, damaged hero, but deep down inside he's a wonderful and warm man. Don't get me wrong - some of the things he said to Harper were pretty harsh and not nice at all; but after we find out the why and how he broke her heart (the breakup scene was brutal!), I could see where he was coming from, even though that does not excuse his behavior. But watching them rekindle their love and relationship was so sweet. You could tell that neither of them truly moved on, and that no matter who they were with or where they were in life, that the other would always have a piece of the other's heart.

Of course we get to see all the Knightly brothers and the rest of the family - and the banter between them all is just too hilarious. The text messages are just the best!! And knowing we get Reid and Brig's stories soon - I can't wait to see what's in store for them!

If you're already a fan of Meghan Quinn, you'll love That Forever Girl. Harper is one of my favorite characters she has written. She's very strong, and I really enjoyed getting to know her. Rogan is very reserved, and you kind of hate him at the beginning (I mean how can you do that to Harper??). But I really enjoyed this book! Sidenote: No need to read the first book if you haven't.

I'm not usually a fan of companion book series' but this is the second one that in the last year that I am such a huge fan of and I fall in love with the characters more each time. In my review of That Second Chance, I talked in detail about how much I adored the whole Knightly family and the town that this book is also set in. It honestly feels so realistic that I can't get enough of it. You don't need to have read That Second Chance to be able to read this but I really recommend it because it was a five star read.

This book follows the second Knightly brother, Rogan, and Harper with their second chance romance. Second chance romances aren't usually my favourite but Meghan Quinn can make me love anything. Rogan is a complex character, to say the least, but he is so sweet and sentimental. At the beginning of the book, you don't know why Harper has moved back to town but you can tell how sad she is and it was heartbreaking finding out the reasons for that. The brothers do feature in this book which I loved but they aren't as heavily involved as in That Second Chance. I loved the text messages they would send in group chats, the Ed Sheeran lines had me cracking up!

This book is told in dual perspective and told in present-day and past tense chapters. I think it was brilliantly written and as you progress through the book and find out why they broke up all those years ago, it is gut-wrenching. I really wasn't expecting the reasoning for the break up while they were in college. This book is based in winter with glimpses of Christmas and Thanksgiving which I wasn't expecting but was obsessed with as a huge fan of the holiday season. This book picks up right where That Second Chance ends and I loved Harper and Rogan's story.

There are so many things I would love to share that I adored about this book but I want to keep it as spoiler-free as possible. I did guess who the original forever girl was but I wasn't disappointed in the slightest. I gave this book 4.5 stars, the only reason I didn't give it five stars is because That Second Chance is still my favourite book so far but I already can't wait for the next one!

I loved all of it!!!

That Forever Girl is a book that will stay with me. Rogan and Harper pulled me in, I adored meeting them as high school sweethearts and again as adults rediscovering their love for each other.

I loved this book! I really enjoyed Griffin's book, but I didn't *love* it, per se. However, Rogan's book was amazing. It was so full of heart break, love, and realistic second chances. I was really happy that it took a little while for either of them to completely acknowledge that they still loved each other. I really feel like it was beneficial to the story line.

Harper is one of my favorite heroines that Meghan Quinn has ever written. I really liked how she knew her worth and she wasn't going to just give in to Rogan. She was very focused on getting herself back in order before she even acknowledged what she was feeling. I also liked that she didn't turn all gooey every time he walked into the room. Her hurt didn't just go away after all these years because of a steamy glance from Rogan.

I also really liked Rogan because he was very quick to admit his faults and wrongdoings. He was pretty terrible to her and instead of making excuses he tried to show her how much he had changed. It was really fantastic to see a H who recognized what an amazing person the h is and how she deserved to be treated.

I knocked a star off because I wasn't wild about the frequency of the flashbacks. I would say it was every couple of chapters and, while I acknowledge some of their value, some of them weren't needed and it could have been spaced out more. Going back and forth tends to take me out of the story I was enjoying and then it takes me a minute to get back into it when it goes back to the present. It almost felt like reading two books in one, at times. That being said, I loved the "past" chapters separately and would totally read that book, so my issue isn't with the content itself it's more about the frequency in which it happened.

Overall, I absolutely recommend this book! I'm desperately hoping Brig is next because I cannot wait to see what shenanigans that happy-go-lucky fella is going to get up to! Meghan Quinn, you've done it again.

This didn't work for me at all. I could tell a few pages in and skimread a bit further but decided to just give up on it.

There are some authors that when you find out they have another book out, you need to one click it. Meghan Quinn has become that for me. Every time I think this is my new book boyfriend, she writes another story and I fall in love with her characters. Her characters feel like family, her writing feels effortless and her stories will give you all the feels.

Rogan Knightly is good looking, athletic, nice build and has a good heart. Let’s face it, who wouldn’t want to be part of the Knightly family…hint…. Hint, Meghan, we need more of the brothers stories. Harper is a small town girl in love with Rogan and following in his shadow. Best friends to lovers, small town romance, sports romance, this story has it all!

That Forever Girl alternates between the present and the past. You learn about Rogan and Harper’s backstory. How they fell in love, out of love, and how they rebuild their lives in Port Snow.

There are some fun elements to the story, and romance fans will smile at the storyline and plot.

If you are a Meghan Quinn fan, a rom com fan or just like to smile, laugh and have fun reading with a little angst thrown in, this story is for you. That Forever Girl is book 2 in the Getting Lucky series.

Where do I begin?!
That Forever Girl really touched my heart.

Rogan is always so growly and grouchy. Harper feels lost due to circumstances of the past. When the two meet back up magic happens.

I love the give and take between these two and the flashbacks from the past. Their story brought tears to my eyes. I was happy and sad and then happy again.

Such a great read! I cannot wait for the next installment. Thanks Netgalley for the ARC.

This is a voluntary review of an advanced copy.

Harper is back in town and now has to deal with Rogan who brutally broke their engagement and her heart. Most of the beginning of the book, Rogan is just plain unlikable and hopefully that is what the author was going for but it really made it hard to want Harper back with him.

I really liked the first book with Ren and Griffin and how could you not love the Knightley family with those crazy brothers and their sister, Jen! While I did like the HEA and that Harper and Rogan finally worked things out, I was not really that invested in their story at the beginning. Not sure if it was the constant flashbacks to their high school years or that Rogan was annoyingly nasty. Or maybe that it took so long to get to the flashback of their break up.

In the end, it was good to see this family and town and can't wait for the next brother to "break" the curse when they finally grow up!

4.5 STARS

I was lucky enough to read the first book in this series featuring Griffin and his brothers, and adored it. So, I have been waiting the arrival of each of the siblings book, and the wait was worth it. I adored Rogan's story. It was not an easy going book, but there was some lightness to it, that had me laughing. My favorite thing about this series is the family aspect. I love love love how family oriented it is, it makes for great banter, and an even greater amount of meddling. But my favorite thing about That Forever Girl you ask? Mixing the old with the new. Two stories in one. This author did an amazing job between the past and present. She gave enough information to make things make sense, and not too much to where the story lagged. It genuinely flowed at the perfect pace. These characters made great strides in characters growth as one day bleed into the other. The chemistry was not just focused around the hot and steamy times, which made if a more fulfilling read. Overall, this was an outstanding read.

Rogan, ( unique and different name that I love. It fits him) is not as carefree as he used to be. Circumstances changed him, and now he is getting used to the new normal He isn't the nicest of the siblings, but given what he has been through, makes it understandable. Deep down, he has a heart with so much love to give. He is so dang romantic.

Harper is not where she thought she would be at this point in her life. She longs for the feeling of home, no matter what that might be. Her heart has been through the ringer one too many times, so she just wants to be. She comes off as quiet, but she has a backbone that can make a grown man weep.

When life brings Harper back to her hometown, can Rogan prove to her that this time is different?

These Knightley boys are everything. Book two in the series features Rogan (second oldest of the brothers.) Broken, broody, successful and still so gorgeous. Him and his longtime best friend and high school sweetheart had a nasty breakup while away at college, and now she's back in town after seven years away. Harper is a good person who lost herself along the way, but she's back to discover who she is and what she wants in life. The town ain't big enough for the two of them. This is a second chance romance as well as an enemies to lovers romance. The supporting characters bring a lot to the book. A lot of entertainment value. There is the angst that comes with dealing with an ex, as well as remembering the good times and the love you once shared. While the characters have heavy hearts and aren't all upbeat, the book itself isn't overly emotional. There are plenty of laughs along the way. It's a well told story. Alternates between POVs. And goes back and forth in time from their youth to the present day. There is a small amount of sexual content. This is book two of the Getting Lucky series, but each can be read as a stand alone. I would suggest reading them in order though so you get more of a feel for each of the brothers and their romantic lives (or lack of) without spoilers.

*I received an ARC of this book from Netgalley.

I was eager to go back to Port Snow and visit the Knightly clan in That Forever Girl . Rogan and Harper’s second chance romance tugged at my heart. I absolutely enjoy this sweet, funny, yet at some point emotional story. It gave me all the feels and I was completely captivated. It was gratifying to take part in the couple’s journey – traveling to the past to see them transition from friends to lovers and at the same time seeing them move from enemies to lovers again in the present.

I loved that we were brought back to the past to the highlights of the couple's relationship milestones. These flashbacks were significant as they not only slowly unravel the mystery of their breakup but also proved that Rogan was not the complete jerk that he appeared to be. He remembered and communicated his love for Harper in his own unique way. Totally swoon-worthy!

Another favorite was the closeness of the Knightly clan. The siblings’ text exchanges and in person interactions ranged from hilarious to motivating which illustrated the abundant love and support between the siblings. The meddling of their parents were annoying yet timely because parents know best.

In my opinion, I feel that Meghan has grown substantially as an author throughout the years. Her writing flows effortlessly and her stories are always accompanied by well-developed characters and a well-defined plot embedded with humor and heart. I absolutely enjoyed the story and would highly recommend this funny and heartwarming small-town second chance romance.

An incredible emotional story and one of my favorites by Meghan Quinn. The heartache of both Harper and Rogan kept me on the edge of tears for the first part of the story. Then I was cheering for them! I loved how Quinn did the flashback chapters, slowly revealing the shocker of what actually drove them apart. I am so in love with this town and the people in it!!

Meghan quinn does it again! This is book 2 in this series and it is just as amazing as the first.
Rogan and Harper were high school sweethearts until college when Rogan breaks it off. Fast forward 7 years Harper returns to Port Snow.
The book goes back and forth between past and present but it’s easy to follow and fall in love with! This book will have you believing in second chances.

Can’t wait for book 3 !

Thank you netgalley and Meghan for my ARC of this book!

This is a bit harder for me to rate. Certain parts of this story I LOVED while other parts I struggled with. That is hard for me to admit considering that I adore this author with everything that I am. Normally, I connect with the characters that this author writes but for some reason, Rogan and Harper never really managed to get me invested in them.

I struggled with how long it took for Rogan to decide to show Harper that he still loved her, especially after being so cruel to her when she came back home. For a man that had followed through on so many of the dreams that they had shared together, it just didn't make much sense to me. Harper's reason for coming back seemed to come very late in the story too. So late in fact that I worried if it was even going to be addressed or if this was going to become two books because it was so close to the conclusion. That was another thing that frustrated me on this one. Everything seemed so rushed towards the end which made me sad because I really wanted that a little more flushed out.

That being said, The text banter between the brothers had me cracking up. I am loving the connection between all these brothers and "the curse" especially knowing that there are two brothers to go. There is also a plot twist that I didn't see coming. Even with the flashbacks, I had NO idea of a certain something in regards to Rogue. Even though this wasn't my favorite from this author it was still very good and I would recommend it.

I loved this book, although there were times where Rogan's cruelty took me out of the story- not so much the past cruelties, that I sort of understood, but the present day rudeness when Harper came back into town was a little much. He was over the top immature about her, but I guess he had to take the journey to "break the curse." Otherwise, there are a lot of very funny moments with the brothers, hot sparks between Harper and Rogan, and even a bit of mystery.

Well, book 2 in the Getting Lucky series by Meghan Quinn features the second eldest knightly brother, Rogan, and I think I’ve found my favourite brother. He is just wonderful, all sultry and sexy, whilst been sappy and loving. Admittedly, he is a jerk in the beginning, but when everything comes to light, I understood where he was coming from, I’m not saying he did the right thing, but, we all make mistakes This is a super addictive second chance romance, some scenes are emotional, a lot of scenes are funny, proper laugh out load moments with the sibling banter, in person and by text. So so funny. A wonderful story written so so well. Great characters. I just adore all the townsfolk. The town gossip is rife, and I do love small town stories. I can’t wait to see what book 3 brings us. I received an advanced copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley. This is my honest review.
