This is the first book in Sarah Robinson 100 Proof Series. The story of Sam Ehilde whose whiskey company, Wyldefire Whiskey is ready to take Nasheville by storm. He hopes too the take off of this company will make everyone no remember the scandal of his cheating girlfriend who ended up marrying his brother and causing a huge scandal.. But the problem now is that he is just a country boy who has no idea how to throw the launch party his Whiskey he is so proud of. His answer lies in Holly Glenn who is a tattooed tiny little party planner with his rung on her finger and a fake marriage to set this party on fire. What he never sees coming though is the feelings she will bring out in him. He know on shot of her will never be enough. I really fell for these characters and loved then together and watching their relationship evolve, this is a great read and I can't wait for the next book in the series.

Sam Wylde is starting up Wyldefire Whiskey and is looking for an event planner to help out, all the while trying to mend his heart from his brothers’ betrayal. Holly Glen just so happens to be an event planner that really could use the money that Sam is offering for a last-minute job and the person he needs to help pull off a fake marriage.

While the marriage starts out as a fake one…feelings turn out to be real AND quick. Both Sam and Holly are trying hard not to fall in love, but fate has another thing in mind. Once again, it’s a quick read with some very entertaining secondary characters…like Grandma and her new husband

Holly Glen has had a hard life. She was in a car accident that took the life of her parents and put her younger into a coma. That was three years ago and her younger sister's care is more than she can afford. So when she can steal a parking space from her high school crush, Sam Wylde, who was kind of a jerk back then, she figures the fates are just aligning. She doesn't expect him to propose marriage.
Sam needs a reason for his family to stop fussing over him. Just because his high school girlfriend started an affair with his brother and now they're getting married, everyone is worried. But if he has a love of his own...
I wish we had seen more of his brother - we're told that he's not a nice guy but we're only given a couple of instances. And this was a really short book so there wasn't a ton of time to see whether Sam and Holly are really going to work out (especially with some kind of big news in the epilogue) but hopefully we'll see a little of them in later books.)

Three and a half stars

Wylde Fire had it's moments, however this second chance at love story wasn't my favorite. The hero and heroine, experiencing a second chance at love, seemed a little lacking in depth. I'm wondering if this novel suffers from being a series launch; that there just wasn't enough space to do the romance justice when coupled with the series set up.
The love scenes were two dimensional as well, and almost seemed like they were placeholders instead of plot movers. I would like to read the next book in the series, the family business premise is intriguing.
I received my copy through NetGalley under no obligation.

Thank you for the opportunity to read and review one of your author’s titles.

I apologize that it has taken me a while to respond, as I should have been more prompt, however I have chosen not to read or review this title as it was not one that I found was able to hold my interest and my review would not have been positive.

As always, thank you for the opportunity.

What a fun and fantastic read! This was straightforward, fun, steamy, and delicious. When the book starts, Sam Wylde has two problems. One, his new venture, Wyldefire Whiskey is about to have their first company launch. They had planned a huge event, but his event planner just left them high and dry. Sam’s cousin Noah, one of the partners in the venture, had a fling and broke up with her and she just up and went and took her connections with her. Now Sam is trying to fix the jam Noah got them into.

His other problem is his younger brother’s wedding. Two years ago, his high school sweetheart, his fiancee, betrayed him with his brother Grady. He found them having sex, so he cancelled the wedding. Now the betrayers are getting married and his family expect Sam to make nice. As if! He’s not in a good place with his family at the moment for that reason.

The looks of pity from everyone in town, the frequent comments on his feelings are grating on him to no end. And all he wants is to solve his launch problem! When he runs into Holly and realizes she’s an event planner, he hires her on the spot. Once they start to work together, their chemistry fires up and goes wylde, er wild. Holly had a crush on Sam from high school, where she would pine for him from afar. She was shy and younger and he was an arrogant jock so she had no chance. Now, however, it’s a different situation and she grabbed it with both hands.

This story was delightful and the characters were adorable. The family dynamics are crazy, with a grandmother who has no filter, and is a master schemer. All the second characters added to the charm of the book and a side plot with Holly’s sister adds the necessary dark so the story won’t be too cheesy. I’m only sorry I didn’t get to see Grady get a butt kicking.

What a wild and delicious ride!

I enjoyed the twist on marriage of convenience, that they got engaged for convenience but fell in love before they married. Both Sam and Holly were sweet too. But I also found them a little bit flat as characters and I wasn't totally drawn into their story. I'd have to agree with a previous review about the bonkers gift, what was that about? And the apparent brushing under the carpet of his brother's cheating by his family was odd. All in all, I liked but didn't love this book.

This one is one of my favorite tropes fake dating and a old high school relationship. I did enjoy this one and the crazy funny family but it had a little too much smutty for me I like a tamer read but I still enjoyed this book. Thanks so much to Netgalley and the Publishers for the Arc copy of this book

“He wanted to ask if she felt it, too…if her skin singed at the proximity of their bodies, her breath lost at the closeness of his.”

Rumors, lies, secrets, loyalty, sacrifices, chemistry, and small town gossip are just a few of the many things you will fall in love with while getting lost in this story.

"You've ruined me”...We've ruined each other."

Synopsis:
It has taken Sam five years of hard work to set up Wyldefire Whiskey. But, in the end, he questions his motives, was it even worth it? Or was the business a reason for getting over his long-term girlfriend bailing on him with his brother, he still couldn't believe they had an affair right under his nose and are now about to get married!

With his event planner now bailing out too, and the launch event a few weeks away, he needs another one asap. In comes Holly, the lady who has kept him in his heart for well over a decade, since they were in high school together. How does the instant attraction, followed by a fake relationship as a means to an end for them both, turn into love?

Review:
This is my first read by the author and the first book in an upcoming series. Wylde Fire is the story of Samuel Wylde and Holly Glen.

The book starts with a prologue where Sam questions his decision. Because of his cousin Noah, a seemingly reluctant partner in his business, he loses his event coordinator. Just then, while rushing to get the permits for his business, he runs into one of his high school juniors, at a parking lot. He doesn't remember her, but she does, being the Wylde men of River Ridge High made famous by their charitable contributions.

Set in Tennessee, what we have here is a tattoed heroine. And she's noticing Sam even after ten years! Running her own event management business, she feels different levels of hot when he hires her for managing the launch of his company to be held after three months. And also glad, because she could use all the money for herself and her sister after what she's been through. With her parents no more and Suzie in a coma for the past three years, she left her booming business in the southern metropolis in Nashville to come back to her hometown. She has her own scars to remind her of that ghastly car accident which took her parent's lives.

When as a reader I first met Holly, I couldn't imagine the constant pain she's in. She is the sole guardian of her seventeen-year-old comatose sister and is doing everything in her power to put money on the table for her sister's care and hopefully a full recovery.

Within their short acquaintance, Holly is driving Sam wild with desire. And humour. The author writes so humorously, I think I found a new romance author I love. And there are so many whiskey references that perfectly complement the main theme of the book.

"He wanted to bottle up her creativity and sense of wonder. Sample it like a perfect single barrel whiskey."

Not only Holly, but Sam has a secret too. And while Holly's secret is something that Sam remembers seeing in the press, his secret is something that nobody knows, something that almost destroyed everything.

Fake relationship turning into the real thing is one of my favourite tropes. Here, they enter into a marriage pact! But, it is as if Sam and Holly fall into a natural rhythm, as if they were always together, just there. She's only a few years his junior, yet she still gets all shy when she thinks that she never really got over her crush. I love guys who gift pets. He got her a sugar glider, an animal I had never heard of before. And what an interesting pet to have! The author tops it up with an epilogue as well as a bonus. But I'm sad because there wasn't any more of the sugar glider. I'd have loved to see him in action a little bit more. But there is a hint at the end about which brother's novel will be next.

Wylde Fire is the first book of the 100 Proof series by Sarah Robinson. This novel involves an unrequited high school crush, a fake relationship, a crazy fun family, lots of drama, falling in love, and some steamy scenes. Readers will enjoy the humor in the book and the chemistry between the two main characters, Holly and Sam. Wylde Fire is a lovely and interesting novel to introduce readers to Sarah Robinson’s new series.

This book had a lot of potential, but you get a bit distracted with everything else. Sam and Holly separately have A lot of baggage but are surviving. What do you do when you are tired of surviving?? You find a reason to live. Their is a plan for a fake wife that’s real and a promotion and event for a new company and so many extra characters sometimes you wonder who the story is really about. All in all a good book.

I received this book in exchange for a review from the publisher via NetGalley (and was super excited about it!).

Full disclosure: I am an avid follower of Sarah Robinson's Facebook group. Joining her group was recommended by my book bestie as a group I'd like. I've been in the group maybe 6 months, and until that point I'd never heard of her, nor had I read any of her books. After joining the group, I still didn't read any of her books, although I greatly enjoyed her posts about her life, finding love herself, etc. I wanted to read her books, just had a huge backlog of library books, owned books, and Netgalley books to read, and never seemed to get around to it until now.

But MAN I wish I had read her stuff before!

Wylde Fire is the first book in her new series, 100 Proof, featuring Sam Wylde and Holly Glen. Sam is looking to throw a big launch party for his new Wyldefire Whiskey, and when his event planner suddenly leaves him in the lurch, a chance run-in with Holly Glen leads him not only to the perfect solution to that problem, but also the one involving his ex-girlfriend marrying his brother, the one she cheated with.

I really enjoyed Sarah's writing style. It dragged me in and had me wanting to bunker down and read the whole book in one sitting. Unfortunately, stressful life made me take longer than I'd like to finish the story (I'm looking at you, work stress!). The characters were fun, intriguing, and didn't have any major personality flaws that made them unlikable.

My only complaint is that it felt rushed in the end, and a few things mentioned in the book that the characters kept coming back to, were never resolved, such as her scars, and his "other thing". Loose ends like that make me wonder why they were included in the first place. That's what kept it from being 5-star for me.

Definitely will be picking up more of Sarah's writing, especially the further books in the series once they come out!

Short, sweet, smuttY. Was a good read and you fell in love with the characters but a bit more story would’ve been awesome.

Never having read anything by Sarah Robinson I wasn’t sure what to expect. Wylde Fire was an enjoyable read and the main characters were interesting. I loved the trope and the plot of this book. The blurb and the cover were an instant draw. I loved Sam and Holly!

Sam is an alpha male with trust issues after his fiance cheats on him with his brother. Holly is trying to put everything into her event planning business, and caring for her younger sister that is in a coma from an accident that killed their parents. She has no time for love or a relationship, even when it's with her high school crush, Sam. When Sam makes Holly an offer she can't refuse, will she have a change of heart about her thoughts on relationships, or can she keep her heart guarded for the sake of her sister?

This was a fun read overall and I'm really looking forward to reading more of series.

Sarah Robinson is a new author to me and I was pleasantly surprised with Wylde Fire! One of my favorite genres is fake engagement/marriage and this one had everything I love -- great chemistry between the characters, interesting and funny secondary characters (what a crazy family!) and a good plot that kept me reading into the night. I loved Sam and Holly's instant fire but I loved how they grew together and had each other's backs from the start. Refreshing and fun, this was a very enjoyable read. Looking forward to more in the 100 Proof series. I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC for NetGalley.

Sam is read to launch, Wyldefire Whiskey and needs help to throw the perfect party to get people talking about it, instead of the scandal of his ex marrying his brother. Holly is working hard making a name as an event planner while paying for her sister’s care. Holly had a crush on Sam in high school and what Sam is offering will be beneficial to them both. What will happen when it turns from a fake arrangement into something very real? Fast-paced read with plenty of steam and family drama. I liked the story, a loss of a star for some editing issues overall an entertaining read. I liked it.

Wylde Fire was a wonderful story.

Sam Wylde is still recovering from betrayal and heartbreak years later, but slowly picking up the pieces and working to be independent from his family name. Opening up Wyldefire Whiskey is his way of making a name for himself and doing something that makes him happy while also making a name for himself.

Holly Glen has known her share of heartache, but in a different way. But she’s tough and fiery and just the person Sam needs in his life. In as well as out of the bedroom.

Their chemistry was fast and strong leading into a whirlwind live affair that progresses quickly.

This was a quick and slightly steamy read that I was able to finish in one sitting. I was entertained the whole time! ☺️

Holy Cow!! Four Fantastic Stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️ for this one Folks! This was my first book by Sarah Robinson and I can -guaran-dang-tee you it won’t be my last. Sam and Holly’s story was unexpectedly devastating, sweet and smokin’ hot!

The banter between these two is what naughty dreams are made of. Sam has been burnt and was jaded, but rightfully so. Holly had been through hell and back. Oh how my heart broke over and over again for her. Could what started out as a sham of a fake marriage be the best thing to happen to either of them?

I loved these characters. Holly was this breath of fresh air. Her personality as colorful as her tattoos. Sam certainly wasn’t prepared for the rug to me pulled out from under him by his event planner, and Holly tried to remain as guarded as possible. But the man she’s had a crush on for as long as she can remember just stepped in to be her knight in shining cowboy boots. Can she keep herself from falling farther down that rabbit hole and just enjoy the “Wylde ride” while it lasts?

This book had some fabulous secondary characters as well. I sure hope we some of their stories in the future!!

I will definitely be reading more from this author. I wish I had discovered her sooner, but can’t wait to devour more of her books.
