This was my first book by this author. At least that I can remember for some reason I think I have actually read her work before. Either way I loved this book! Finn, along with his brothers find out that they are the long-lost nephews of Joseph Anderson. He is not only super rich but also super famous. If that isn’t hard enough he is also adjusting to civilian life now that he is no longer a Navy SEAL.

In the middle of all of this he meets Brooke Garrison who sweeps him off his feet. Like she does really! Not in the cheesy sort of way. He’s teaching a self defense class and she brings him down. Brooke is dealing with her own demons. The loss of her brother has left her unsure of her future.

Melody Anne wrote such wonderful characters and I honestly can’t wait to find out what is in store for the other brothers.

Some of these Anderson Billionaire series may seem to have the same story line or make you jaded, but I have to say "Finn' was a welcome change from the previous/original series I read. 

"Finn" was funny, emotional, strong and had no qualms about owning to the fact that he's fallen hard for Brooke Garrison and is going to marry her! And Brooke does not make it any easier with her past that makes her fear a future with Finn.

Thoroughly enjoyable!

I love the main characters in this book.   :)     Finn is great and relentless.    Brooke is smart and sassy.    I love the romance and passion in the book.     Just wonderfully written with great characters.

I absolutely adored this book! If he were real, I'd be trying to make Finn my man. I don't think Melody Ann could have made him more perfect if she tried. Brooke was an amazing woman and the perfect person to challenge and love Finn. I couldn't stop reading this book once I started and now I'm dying for the rest of Finn's brothers' stories.

I thought Finn was a fantastic character. I really enjoyed this one!

This is a new series, but intrinsically linked with the previous Anderson stories, so if you have read them, be ready for Joseph Anderson and his meddling ways – although to be honest, in this case, there is no need for him to intervene at all. I did like that Melody Anne had managed to wangle a whole five more bachelors ready for a happily ever after – although it seemed incredible that they had been local all this time and Joseph had not found them before now!

Finn is the eldest brother and he is very skeptical of the new family that has suddenly come into their lives – and not all that keen, given that they are related to his truly awful father. It takes him a long time to trust them, even when everything good is laid before him. As he and his brothers band together to make a success of the project that they have been offered, he learns what being an Anderson can mean. I might add he takes some of the perks quite happily, as they benefit his mission to gain Brooke's undying love!

His single-mindedness in her pursuit is by times almost stalkerish, although he does promise that if she truly weren't interested he would back off – not sure just how far she would have to go to make that clear!

There is quite a lot of world-building going on, which sometimes can be a little distracting, but will no doubt pay off in future installments... and there are plenty of hints as to who might be involved already.

A very sweet, low angst, plenty of chemistry and passion kind of romance. I am looking forward to the Veterans' centre being open rather than just being built.

Brooke has lost a lot in her life. We meet her after a terrible loss, but she's trying to pick up and keep moving forward. She is a tough woman who is fiercely independent and loves her life. She isn't swayed easily by a pretty face or sweet words and I really loved her friends.

Finn is coming to grips with a forced retirement. He is also having to deal with some long-lost family coming into his life. Finn isn't a trusting person, with the exception of his brothers. Finn isn't quite sure what to make of Joseph coming back into his life and offering an amazing project to him and his brothers, but he wants to try and make his brothers happy, so he goes all in.

Finn's taken aback when Brooke puts him on his butt, literally, in front of a ton of women during a self defense class. His attitude that he's met the woman he's going to marry is over the top, but it's also what endears him to the reader in the book. Brooke is trying very hard to overcome her trauma too. She wants to continue to build her own family but is also scared of losing more people.

This book was about letting people who love you in and learning to let go of the past and move forward. It's a cute story about finding something and going after it, whether it's the love of your life or family you want to forge a relationship with. I am really looking forward to Finn's brothers and Brooke's friends getting their own stories.

Hold onto your heart reading this story!  Finn, I love that name (I haven't read a Finn I didn't completely love yet).  He was adorable, determined, resourceful, sexy as all get out, and patiently loving.  From the start, he falls for Brooke.  Their first meeting is hilarious and will put a smile on your face.   Each non-date they continue to have gets better and better.  He has such a calm and loving demeanor when it comes to Brooke.  And he shows her through his actions how sincere he really is.  Brooke takes a little longer to come around, but knowing there is no way she will let him go.  Their story is perfect,  even if full of insecurities, fear, grief.  I loved how they came together and went for a happy life.  An added bonus were Brooke's closer than sister friends and Finns brothers along with a certain matchmaking, meddling Uncle and his beautiful wife.

A sweet fun read. Both characters were likeable and the family and friends were great supporting characters.

Alpha male. Verteran with only eyes for one woman. A sizzling hot attraction from the moment they met. And a woman strong enough to take him down in more ways than one. 'Finn' is an forgettable romance.

I’m a big fan of Melody Anne and all her books but in particular the Anderson series. So of course when I saw this one was going to be part of that crew I’m fully on board. And boy am I glad I did. Finn is the eldest of the brothers which makes me a happy girl because that means there are going to be more to come. I loved Finn and Brooke. I always love the flow of this author’s work and the dual POV definitely gives you an insight to them both. After reading this book and revisiting the Anderson crew it made me want to start at the beginning and reread the whole series. I can’t wait for what’s next in this all new installment of the Anderson’s!!

There are times when you can actually see the sparks  when 2 characters meet, that is just the case with Finn and Brooke.
Finn, is just so delicious. I am sure his four brothers are count to be just as mouth watering in their prospective books. 
Finn, and his constant suspension of Joseph Anderson, was easy to relate to. Somethings something so good is impossible to believe in.  With his early retirement from the SEALS he is feeling a little off kilter. But the project that Joseph has in mind is perfect for the brothers. 
As for the town doctor Brooke, she is such a BADDIE! Meeting Finn at one of his self- defense classes, she shows him just who the boss is. 
These two are explosive and I was here for every minute of it. 
What a fantastic interdiction to the Anderson family. I am so ready for more. !

Finn is a sweet instant-love story. The characters, both main and side, were ok some of them more, some of them less likable. I didn't like 
this all repetitive of the same things in the story and Finns stalkerish category a few times.

When Finn meets Brooke, he knows she's the one he's going to marry, but convincing Brooke to date him and see him as someone other than a friend is a struggle Finn is more than willing to do. This is the first book in the Anderson Billionaires series by Melody Anne.

Finn Anderson isn’t your normal billionaire. He is down home, he is a military vet and he has a family who are not only well off but nice to boot. He definitely has it all… except a wife. And in the beginning that isn’t even on his radar. Then he meets Brooke and she challenges his idea of what companionship and long lasting love might mean.

I really wanted to love this, but there was something missing that I just couldn’t put my finger on. You get invested into caring for the characters immediately. As I think about the story structure, it might be the lack of the normal romance outline missing:  guy gets girl, guy loses girl, guy wins girl’s affections back. Finn was all in with Brooke from nearly page one. He never really lost her and she did a ton of waffling about what she wanted so she never lost him. I think to make a romance that pulls at people’s hearts you have to put in those road blocks and stumbles that make up everyone’s romantic journey. That makes the coming together sweeter.

I feel that if the couple had fallen apart and then come back together by the end, I might have rated this much differently.

If you are a romance junkie and just want one love fest after another, definitely check this out.

This was a very sweet romantic story, there was no secret, just a true love story of love at first sight. Although it did take Brooke a bit longer!

I loved this book from the very first moment. A sweet, sensual, heart warming insta-love story. No action but lots of emotion. A very light read on a rainy day or in the winter with a hot cocoa or coffee. You will fall in love with it. It was very funny when Brooke took his ass to the ground and he said: I am gonna marry her. With this kid-in-the candystore grin on his face.
Overall it was sweet -maybe for me a little bit sickeningly sweet- but a very warming read.

I’m not a fan of Romance books featuring billionaires or even more richer people. I have had bad experiences with that genre, so I try to avoid it. Buuut those books usually have easy to the eye covers and I must admit I’m weak in front of a good steak, so I pick more of them than I should. This story is penned by Melody Anne. I have never read anything written by her, but looking at her work I thought she is a pro in the richer than life genre. I was eager to see what her secret formula was. I hope this book is not a good example of that, because the chemicals presented in Finn have made the metaphorical Erlenmeyer go boom. The worst part: it is not a sudden addition of a last minute reactive. Nope. We could see the cracks from almost the first chapter. Cracks that get wider and meaner along the book in a constant and unstoppable pace until the unavoidable messy ending.

In this book we meet the ex-soldier Finn at the same time he and his brothers discover they are related to the infamous billionaire Joseph Anderson. That old timer is a big fan of family and hard work, so he offers them to work in a project to build a center for veterans in a small town near Seattle. All of them accept (the five of them) and the brothers start right away with their plans to make the most of the opportunity they have been given. In that town we can also find the good nurse Brooke, an adrenaline junkie who is very independent and strong (take a note about that… it is hugely important). From there, boy meets girl and the rest you know how it goes…

If the first paragraph wasn’t clear enough, this book is bad. No way around it. Let’s focus first on the story or, better said, the lack of it. Why the hell this book has so many pages if the author barely uses a 10% to tell something? Reading this book has felt like one of Hercules labours, testing the limits of my will to keep awake while trying to make sense of the plot. At first I thought this was going to be about a guy with PTSD after his military life and an abusive father. But Finn looks perfectly OK. Then I thought Brooke’s brother death was related to the mission of Finn that went sideways, bringing a bit of drama to the relationship. But that only happened in my head, sadly. Finally, I was expecting a fight thanks to Finn’s wedsession (obsession to weddings… I’m coining it, because it is a very useful word for Romance reviews), bringing some spice to save me from the dull moments; but, once again, I was wrong. The book is boring. It doesn’t even try to entertain…

And the characters… WOW! I don’t know which ones should I mention first: the bad, the annoying or the infurating ones. Let’s start with Finn. Appart from his mandatory hunkiness, I can’t think of any other positive detail about him. I still don’t know what is his deal. He blames Joseph of imposing himself into his and his brother’s life, but he does the same with Brooke. Sorry, that’s a lie. Joseph is an amateur next to this guy. Finn behaves like a creepy stalker invading Brooke’s space every chance he gets and we are sold that that is a sexy behaviour. I’m not buying it. So far we have hypocrite and creepy. As if that weren’t enough, Finn is so obsessed with the nurse than, after 10 minutes of meeting her, he is already planning the wedding. Like seriously planning it, buying ring and all. Add mentally unbalanced to the list. Being so in love with her, obviously he gets violent the moment another man looks at her. With that we have possessive and violent. One of my favourites: he doesn’t want Joseph in his life, but will run to his side to ask him for a private jet to woo his soon to be wife (in his unstable mind, of course). I want to call him spoiled kid, but I know that wouldn’t be fair. I could keep going: he wanted unprotected sex since the first time (because he needed it… A good pair of scissors is what you really need, pal!!), his “I’m better than her, so I let her win” attitude…

Brooke is not a better character. It could have been, but the author neglects to develop her or to give her any kind of personality. No, saying over and over again she is a strong woman is not granting her a personality. If it were more than words, maybe, but in the end… she is a very weak woman who let’s everyone mold her thoughts and actions. The best example of that is when she discovers Finn’s wedsession (yeah, I’m keeping it). She is bluntly told by a total stranger that the ex-soldier is telling everyone they are getting married (without her say so…) and she doesn’t care! Not a single conversation about it. She just let it slide. It is your life, too!! Don’t let them plan it for you! Aren’t you such a strong woman? Stop being a sheep, then!!

With such terrible main couple, the romance is nauseating. Too bad, because the author is good with the naughty scenes, but I couldn’t connect with the characters and the result was unbearable. One is all about love and the other is all about sex. So incompatible. They were never in the same page and that makes the classic ending even more painful. A very looooooooong ending that felt like sandpaper rubbing my internal organs.

I could also whine a lot about the Anderson family members and their no so cute meddling acts. Get a hobby, you guys, and let everyone else in peace to do with their lives what they please! A wedding is not the ultimate goal in life. This is the XXI century…

Yeah, some readings are bad experiences. I never judge the style of an author after just one book, so I guess I will give it another chance sooner or later. It doesn’t look promising, though. I guess this kind of stories has its audience, but I’m far from it.

The Andersons! Oh, how I love them! They were the first family I fell in love with when I got my first kindle and I continue to love them and am so glad to see them back!

Imagine growing up without much except a Mom that loved you more than life itself, but with a dad that was beyond atrocious. Now imagine suddenly being on your own with younger brothers that you feel responsible for raising. You do that and do it well. Everyone is successful and doing well. But love has never been in the cards for you until . . .

You discover you are an Anderson! Yes, those Anderson's. The filthy rich, meddling, close knit family that believes in the power of love! Now you don’t want to trust or believe, but then she comes along. You know that woman that makes you believe in things you never thought possible. That woman that makes you take in that second, third and fourth breath.

Joseph (yes, that one, the patriarch of the meddling family) discovered you don’t have much faith in family, but you do believe in love, decides to school you in both family and love.
Finn and Brooke are so much fun. He decides she’s the one after the first meeting and she decides she isn’t having it. Well, maybe the sex part but not the love part. What transpires is what makes us love the Anderson’s.

Sometimes you can go home again, and this was going home!
