A Wedding in December by Sarah Morgan is an enchanting story about family, relationships, and discovering the truth. Morgan takes us through the dramatic weeks leading up to the wedding, creating a vivid atmosphere with winter snowfall and sparkling festivities. Through Rosie’s experiences, we explore the reality of adult romance – the difficulty of committing to someone and the many issues couples can face – and the roller coaster of emotions that accompany any big life decision. Maggie and Nick’s turbulent marriage, Rosie’s dilemma, and Katie’s fight for her sister make for an engaging plot full of real and raw moments. And Morgan manages to sprinkle plenty of romance into the story – along with the promise of a happy ending – making it a beautiful holiday treat.

I really wanted to love this one as I usually find Sarah Morgan a breeze but there was something about the meddling sister in Katie that made me feel uncomfortable. To a degree I think there was far too much going on in this story with all the characters to full immerse myself and enjoy it

I found this treasure hidden in my Kindle and was horrified that I had not read it sooner or left a review. Apologies for being late!

I wished I had read this sooner, it was the perfect Christmas family story with intertwinning stories and family secrets. It was written without feeling Christmas corny and the ending was statisfatory and realistic.

Grab this gem!

It's an example of a well-written feel-good book! I love a Christmas book at any time of the year because it gives you that cherry warm feeling that the festive season brings with it and Sarah Morgan's books always have that effect and this is no exception. I connected with all the characters and loved the changing points of view! And I'm kind of hoping to hear more from them in books to come!

A Wedding in December is last years Christmas gift to us all from Sarah Morgan and I’m finally excited to be getting around to it is year!

The story follows mother and daughters Maggie, Katie and Rosie. The three women are all at different stages in their lives and all keeping their different situations and emotions bottled up. When Rosie announced her whirlwind Colorado wedding the family all come together and all sorts of antics ensue.

This is a very emotional read for each of the women in the story as well as bringing themselves back together as a family they each explore their own shortcomings and reevaluate where they are in their own lives and what they want to do next.

I’m a huge fan of Sarah, especially her Christmas reads so if you’re looking for a recommendation for a festive read I’d definitely recommend and of hers!

A really good read. When Maggie gett a call from her youngest daughter to say she is getting married at Christmas which is only a month away, she is both surprised and shocked as she loves nothing mor than spending Christmas at home in her lovely cottage surrounded by her family. That's not the only problem though as she is also having other family issues. As she travels to Aspen ,she discovers a beautiful winter wonderland a fabulous location for a winter wedding but will she be able to sort out all her families problems, and will they finally come together for the holidays and find happiness for them all .A lovely Christmas story

I caught up with my Sarah Morgan Christmas books over the Festive period and I decided to let this one spill into the New Year. I'm really glad I did, as with her other Christmas stories, I really enjoyed this one. I do like that some of Sarah's stories tend to cross the Atlantic, so there are the British elements in there as well as the American. I liked how the different characters stories developed and you learnt from their perceptive how things had been and were then becoming and how their relationships grew so what they needed progress to in the future. A great read.

I have actually managed to read all of my 2020 Christmas book releases already this year for the first time ever! With the most wonderful day of the year still a week away I wasn’t ready to leave the festive books aside so I decided because I loved One More for Christmas by Sarah Morgan this year I would go back and read A Wedding in December which was her Christmas release last year which I ran out of time to read.

The White Family always come back together for a cosy traditional Christmas every year in their family home and Maggie was so excited about having her daughters’ home and had begun preparations when her youngest Rosie calls and announces she is getting married at Christmas to a man the family have never met.

Katie is determined to stop her sister’s wedding to protect her from future heartbreak but should she be worrying more about herself than her sister?

Sarah Morgan always creates such stunning and idyllic backdrops to her novels, I don’t think there is a more suited place to escape for Christmas than Snowfall lodge with the snowy treetops and dogsledding to enjoy.

In true Sarah Morgan style we have three main female leads, Maggie and her daughters Rosie and Katie. I loved all three ladies and they are all very family orientated which is lovely to see but we do see the troubles that sometimes comes when you care so much for those close to us and all we want to do is protect them which means keeping secrets which the characters felt would prevent each other from worrying about them and also shows that sometimes we need to let others make their own way in life even if they will make mistakes.

I loved the humour that Maggie and her husband Nick both to the storyline, what were rather awkward moments for them and embarrassing moments for those around them it was pure entertainment for me!

As well as romance and humour there was also a little intrigue and mystery too surrounding Katie, we know early on she has been through something devastating and with each little nugget of information that is dropped through each chapter my mind started trying to piece together what little information we had to try and work out what she had faced.

There is a festive feel to this novel with it being set at Christmas time and the characters spending but I would say it was more a wintery treat that can be read even after Christmas has passed.

A lovely festive read that can be enjoyed anytime of the year. An interesting family, full of their own problems, and they tugged at the old heart strings a few times. A good storyline set in a wonderful winter setting.

This was a lovely fast read about the White family who are going to Colorado to celebrate their youngest daughters wedding to a guy she has not known long. They all have doubts and baggage to take with them. This book has just made me even more excited for Christmas time!
