Maggie is woken in the night by a phone call from her youngest daughter, Rosie. Panic grips her as she is reminded of all the emergency calls she has received due to her poor health, but this time she’s ringing with good news she’s engaged and is going to be married THIS Christmas in Aspen. Maggie hides her apprehension, she’s been planning her Christmas at home for months, it’s a family tradition and has to make an excuse when Rosie asks to speak with her Father. Their children don’t know they have been living apart for the last 6 months. The call to her sister, Katie, catches her in the midst of the stress of a busy casualty shift which removes Katie’s brain filter and plants doubts into Rosie’s mind and makes Katie determined to fly out to Aspen to stop her sister’s impulsive plans. Another gem from Sarah Morgan we are transported to the snowy mountain scenery and can enjoy the unfolding drama and joy. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this story. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

A Wedding in December is a lovely story of relationships and reflections on the past, along with hope for the future. It was slow to start with but once it picked up, I couldn’t put it down. A really good book to curl up with on a dark night.
Thank you NetGalley for the option to review.

I have read a number of novels by Sarah Morgan and this one did not disappoint. The setting in Aspen in the winter was beautifully described, made me want to visit and experience the snow! The characters were human with all of its frailties and the plot skipped along nicely. A book to sit and read in front of a roaring log fire on a cold day. Definitely recommended.

My thanks to Netgalley for my copy of A Wedding in December. If you've read any books by Sarah Morgan (and there are many) you'll know exactly what to expect; a high standard story with obviously larger than life characters who still manage to retain characteristics that we can all relate to and a plot that's not too cheesy with, of course, a happy ending. Perfect holiday escapism.

What a great book about family and the secrets they keep. The descriptions of Aspen in december make it sound like a winter wonderland. A great feel good book perfect for the Christmas winter season.

When Sarah Morgan writes a novel you know it is going to be a great read and this one is no exception. The joining of families by marriage should be a wonderful time but then families have big secrets. Sometimes these cause problems others help the situation but you can never be sure. The joining of two countries as well as families lead to a lovely book that you wont want to put down. I recommend you read this for yourself as soon as possible.

Seasonal Wedding In Aspen....
A seasonal wedding in Aspen - a snowy wonderland in December - and the White family gathering. Amidst the beautiful landscape and the unadulterated luxury that is on offer, family dramas take precedence in the run up to Rosie's wedding. Secrets, lies and doubts abound and emotions run high. Several threads in the storyline, credible characterisation and swiftly moving this is a warm and wonderfully festive, escapist Christmas read.

Thanks to NetGalley and HQ for an arc in exchange for an honest review.

I think Sarah Morgan is becoming a firm favourite where chick lit is concerned. This is another funny, heartwarming novel showing relationships between a family. The novel is set in Aspen so it's a very Christmassy setting.
Once again Sarah Morgan has kept me up well past my bed time, which doesn't happen very often!
Would definitely recommend to everyone.

What a fabulous, curl up under a blanket read!
Sarah Morgan has captivated the audience again with snow capped mountains, log cabins and a wedding, what more could you want?
The characters are relatable, Rosie, who is getting married, after a whirlwind romance, then her sister, Katie, an exhausted doctor who has had a recent trauma and their parents who are keeping secrets of their own.
All issues are addressed when they arrive in Aspen.
The story had me gripped right from the beginning until the very satisfactory, all ends tied, finish.
Recommend this along with all Sarah' Morgans books!

My annual Christmas read from Sarah Morgan and I'm not disappointed
Sarah Morgan's latest festive release is a little different, told from multiple points of view and as the author notes, so many twists, and turns. Yes, it's different, but the story is told so well that you will be enraptured until the end. Strong characters, intriguing plots, and majestic scenery. Definitely worth taking the day off of work to read.
My thanks, as always to #HarperCollins and #Netgalley and Sarah, herself, for giving me the opportunity to review #AWeddingInDecember.

This is a story mainly about the relationships between family members and how this can have an effect on others. I loved the description of the setting in Aspen, it really made me want to visit! I can’t say I liked the character of Katie, the older sister. I felt she was overprotective of Rosie, she was interfering and had no thoughts of other people’s feelings. She did redeem herself slightly towards the end but then she needed to. All the other characters were very likeable. This was an enjoyable read and it kept my interest until the end. I received a copy and have voluntarily reviewed it. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Another wedding story - yes Xmas seems to be the season for it... here with a sister who is a cynic and firmly determined to stop her flaky sister from going through with it. This sister cynic is also an A&E doctor (Emergency Room for US readers), and this really influences her view on life as she so often sees the train wrecks of lives that women have made with hasty marriages and unsuitable husbands who are lovely until the ring is on their finger!
The sister’s romance was a trifle predictable from the very first moment of meeting and rather unexceptional which down-grades the book from 4 to 3.5 stars.

I adored this christmas romantic story. Three stories in one with Maggie rediscovering love, Katie finding love and Rosie committing to love. Set in Colorado, the atmosphere is sublime for a winter wedding. The characters were likeable, interesting but flawed in a good way. One of Sarah Morgan's best reads. I would recommend. Thank you to Netgalley and the publishers for letting me review this book.

I enjoy reading Sarah’s book that comes out this time of year, as it makes me feel Christmas is on the way. Families all have their own role within in family and don’t even realise what it is most is the time. This book makes you look at relationships and realise it’s ok to come out of your comfort zone now and again and that your friends and family won’t think badly of you for doing so. This is a lovely Christmas story written in a way that makes me want to jump on a plane and go there for Christmas myself. As well as having the Christmas theme it also makes for thought provoking reading about the way lives go and do we get too comfortable in our relationships sometimes maybe we need to take a step back and look at the bigger picture now and again. I loved the story of the White family and their struggles to try and do the right things for their family not realising that some of those things aren’t quite right. I highly recommend this book.

Following a whirlwind romance Rosie plans a Christmas wedding in Aspen .her sister Kate is determined to stop it and neither know their parents are estranged. Will it all come right in the end. ? Well written and absorbing,a good winters day read .

Rosie is getting married after a whirlwind romance but it will work out because so did her parents and they're still happily married aren't they? Her sister Katie is going through a rough time but is sure Rosie is making a mistake and sets out to stop the wedding. Their parents are on the verge of a divorce but dont want the girls to know yet so it's time to act like a couple until after the wedding which is away from home at Christmas.

Aww this was so good. I'm already a fan of Sarah Morgan so I knew this would be good and it was. The story is told by the three main women so it added much more depth to the story. The plot itself was great and built to an amazing ending. I loved the ending, it finished the book well. The main characters are all dealing with various doubts and it was interesting to see how each played out. I loved the family dynamics in this as well. Plus the setting was written so well, I could just picture myself there. I mean who wouldn't want a white Christmas.
A perfect christmas read.

The White family is in crisis. Secrets are a plenty in this family. Throw in a wedding at Christmas are its all about to combust. Secrets have a way of coming to light. Maggie is keeping from her children, that her husband Nick has left the martial home and they are heading for a divorce. Maggie lives for her daughters and cant wait for them to come home for Christmas. She is in for a shock when her yougest daughter Rosie phones home. To announce she is getting married to her boyfriend Dan. At Christmas and the wedding is taking place in Aspen Colorado. Now they are in a mess their daughters dont know they are seperated and Maggie doesnt want to tell them till after the wedding.
They are going to have to pretend they are still together. Eldest daughter Katie is busy working as a doctor. Watching her younger sister have asthma attacks made Katie determined to make her sister better. When Rosie rings to tell Katie about the wedding. Big sister goes into over protective sister mode. She believes her sister doesnt want to get married and has been pushed into it, by Dan and his mother. She is determined to stop the wedding. The way Sarah Morgan described Aspen was so descriptive. The treehouses sounded delightful. Its only a matter of time till all the secrets come to light. Can this family find the light at the end of the tunnel? I suggest you pick up a copy and find out. Grab a hot drink and snuggle under the duvet, this one will keep you engrossed.

A great christmas read.

I liked how it is told from the points of view of the different characters, and it was easy to keep up what was going on and with whom.

The stories are interwoven, but I think I liked Katies story best of all.

Sarah sprinkles her festive magic on this romantic read.

Set within the winter wonderland of the snowcapped Aspen mountains filled with log cabins and treehouses at Snowfall Lodge.

Follow Rosie as she embarks on her whirlwind winter wedding after calling her mother to tell her she is getting married in a matter of weeks after knowing her fiancé only months. She dreams of the fairytale and holds everything up to her parents own perfect marriage.

Her sister Katie who is struggling with events in her own life after a traumatic time which she has kept to herself .So she throws herself into discouraging the wedding as she is over protective and she believes her sister is being impulsive.

The girls parents are hiding their own secret which all comes tumbling down when they family get together this Christmas as they are trying to hide their impending divorce from the girls and try to have a great family time. However they are thrown together in a series of romantic activities and they question their life together.

Truths are revealed, issues faced over relationships and challenges at work plus two families trying to blend together.

You can’t buy happiness but you can by Sarah Morgan books…and that’s pretty close!
