This was a lovely, feel good story. A wedding in Aspen, Colorado in December, really likeable characters and interesting family dynamics. They all come together to make a really rewarding story. |

I thoroughly enjoyed it. Lovely story. Brilliant setting. Loved the various relationships and family dynamics. |
I love a festive read and Sarah Morgan always writes a gorgeous Christmas story, this book was set in the gorgeous snowy Colorado and what is not to fall in love with in this idyllic location. A story that reminds you that you get back what you put in with regards to relationships and to keep making time for eachother. The characters of Rosie & Katie were brilliant, personality wise they are ying and yang, Katie is massively overprotective and Rosie is fighting to find her own voice to make her family listen to her. I loved this book and devoured it in just a couple of days, it was oozing snowy mountains, romance and who doesn't love a white Christmas wedding. A great festive read that I highly recommend to get you in the mood for Christmas. |

Great read for anytime, despite the title. A beautiful setting & a wedding, what more could you wish for, but there are lots of twists along the way, thoroughly enjoyed it |

Festive feelgood formulaic fare which works perfectly as a light, wintry read. Empty nester Maggie is woken in the night by a transatlantic phonecall from her daughter, Rosie announcing her Christmas marriage in Colorado following a whirlwind romance. Cue Maggie’s journey to overcome her fear of flying in time to attend the wedding, reconnect with estranged husband, Nick and find new meaning beyond motherhood. Does what it says on the tin and is no less enjoyable for that. Thank you for the advance review copy, it’s an enjoyable escapist read perfect for this time of year. |

An easy book to read and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The story was believable and came to a pleasing conclusion. The details in the ski sections were accurate and I could remember being in that situation. Definitely recommended to those readers who enjoy reading this type of book. |
I wish Morgan would go back to writing straight up romance. I find the multiple leads in these more woman’s fic titles hard to like and under developed. I keep coming back for new ones hoping it’ll settle down - and I love her ski resort settings - but so far it’s not happening for me. Sad times because her books were such reliable comfort reads for me. I found all three of the lead women in this hard to root for - one's too abrasive, one's too flighty and the other is too much of a doormat. You don't get enough time with any of them to really get past that and root for them. The men are slightly better, but you still don't ever feel like you get what makes them tick - and this makes the book harder to stick with and te resolution much harder to get on board with. |
A very apt time of year to read this book given its almost December, but its a book that could be read at any time of the year. Another great book from Sarah Morgan. Good characters that you really felt for and a storyline that kept you interesting throughout the book, what more could you ask for in a good book! |

Quite simply, I loved it. Okay, some of it is a bit cheesy, and yes, some of it a tad unbelievable, but it's an easy, romantic read. The descriptions of the scenery are lovely. The story is set at Christmas time and there are a lot of details including snow to put you in the right vibe. I liked the story being told by three women (a mother and her two daughters). Some heavier issues were dealt with, and there was some introspection. Throw in a happy ending and this is a lovely book to curl up with and devour. With thanks to Net Galley for an ARC in exchange for an honest review. |

This book was such a breath of fresh air. I absolutely loved it. I usually read a lot of thriller and mystery. As much as I enjoy it, I wanted something different. I wanted something "feel good and christmassy". There were so many aspects of this book that I could relate to. I devoured this book in two sittings, by the fire with hot chocolate. It was a delightful read, seasonal, but also full of the family dramas! It brought a tear to my eye in places. An all round great book, perfect for this season! |
A great Christmas read. A wonderful setting and a wedding with great characters. Really easy and quick to read that leaves you feeling all warm and Christmassy inside. |
A lovely Christmas story - well written and relatable. This is the story of two sisters, their parents, the in laws and a wedding. It’s a well written and relatable read that draws you in and leads you through the lives of the characters. I really enjoyed the story and found it to be both relatable yet... I don’t know what the right word is, it carried me away to a glorious American winter wonderland of log cabins and snow and handsome men. It’s a story of finding yourself, re-finding love and learning who you are - it’s well written yet gentle and beguiling and I do recommend it. I read an advanced copy through #NetGalley |
I do love a Sarah Morgan book. You know what you’re going to get; fantastic scenery, sweet romance and a happy ever after and A Wedding in December didn’t disappoint. I loved the characters but Maggie especially was such an unassuming heroine, she really stood out. I loved the story with her and Nick and whilst I’d have perhaps like a bit more conflict between them early on, I really loved their story. I loved the multiple POV and how each character had their own story that impacted on the others. Overall this is a cosy, festive romance which would be great for Hallmark fans or anyone who enjoys the genre. |
I am really sorry but I gave up on this book a few chapters in. Having read some of Sarah Morgan's books before I was really excited to read this but unfortunately it just didn't draw me in. The first few chapters were really slow with not much happening and the characters all seemed really wooden and unimaginative. I gave up just after Rosie's parents arrived in Aspen. I really tried with this book, going back to it a couple of times but for me there was no 'hook' and I just couldn't get into it. Sorry. I haven't posted this review on Amazon as I really don't like posting negative reviews. |

This was a lovely book, it made you feel very Christmassy and warm, I could smell the pine trees and the crunch of snow underfoot as I was reading it. Sarah Morgan writes a good story and I have read a few of them in the past. It is pure escapism which in this busy, dark and dreary days running up to Christmas can make you feel so much better. I’ve read this in one sitting as it was such an easy read. My thanks to Netgalley and the publishers for giving me the opportunity to read this book in return for an honest review. |
Great read! Great characters and a lovely Christmas feel! Thanks for the advance copy, I’d definitely recommend |
No one can quite set the scene like Sarah Morgan. I could visualise the setting of this book so vividly that I could almost feel the frost nip at my nose. I loved all of the characters in this story and was so keen to see how their stories would pan out that I read the book in one sitting. A lovely seasonal romance. |

This is a great holiday read with a good cast of characters and a lovely location. The focus is on marriages and family relationships. There is also a bit of a culture clash due to the Transatlantic nature of events. Some of the lessons from the book include - keep communications open, particularly within a marriage and let people sort out their own relationships. A page turner. |
A wedding story that takes place at Christmas in Aspen, what’s not to love! This book takes us on the journey of the whirlwind wedding taking place at Christmas and the emotions of the family members all dealing with the sudden news. With the stunning backdrop of Christmas in Colorado, this book made me want to book a ticket to enjoy a wonderfully white Christmas of my own! |
I love Sarah Morgan’s books, I’ve read them all and wasn’t disappointed with this one. It is comfort reading at its best, I really enjoyed it, a lovely Christmas read. Thank you to NetGalley and the publishers for letting me read this book in exchange for a review, I have put this review on Amazon too. |
