Colleen Hoover has done it again. Regretting you was another unputdownable book, I read it within 24 hours and was so glad I had book friends to discuss it with once I was done. The storylines of showing both the mom and daughter's point of views was fantastic. Both had inner struggles and new romances to keep each story line just as good as the other. Every woman can relate to Morgan and Clara's relationship. A teen who think their mom is the root of all things bad and a mother that just wants to protect her daughter. This book gave all the feels.
I am only giving it a 4 because the stay-with-you factor just isn't there. It is a book I would recommend and loved reading it, but I may forget about it a year from now. And this may be because I am just comparing it to It Ends With Us and Verity, so I have extremely high expectations when it comes to CoHo.

Thank you Montlake Romance for providing me an ARC via NG
This book was so addictive I just couldn’t put it down. I feel like every book I read by Colleen-Hoover just gets better and better. Regretting You gave me all the feels it was an amazing read from beginning to end!

This book was about a relationship between a mother and her teenage daughter. I think every girl can relate to Clara as she is trying to find her way through her angsty teenage years. Every mother can relate to Morgan as she finds herself lost in life having lived every moment of her life for her daughter. The characters in this book were absolutely amazing, but my favorite by far was Gramps. I loved his witty, dry sense of humor. You can’t help but love him. This book was so well written. Colleen definitely did it again!

Regretting You by Colleen Hoover was such a wonderful read. I read this in a buddy group and all ~20 members LOVED this. It's heartbreaking. a story of courage and resiliency, and love, and loss. I was so moved by Morgan's story and what she went through as well as Clara's story of coping, understanding, grieving, and being loved for the first time. Miller and Jonah were such respectable men and such a guide to others. I was so upset for both Morgan and Clara and what they discovered and had to grieve. Fantastic read!

A great but heavy story of family, betrayal and second chance. I was once again surprised by the plot twist. Clara is a teenager and has teenager's immature and selfish reactions, but it is normal, I had to admit it. I felt close to her mother, Morgan, which has the same age as me and has adult issues.

Wow! Great book! I read this with a group of friends and we all loved it. There was one thing missing, we thought, to make it absolutely perfect, but the story was full and gave me everything important- oohs, awws, laughs, tears, anger, resolution! Typical Colleen Hoover! Her grocery lists probably make me cry too!! Great main characters and wonderful supporting characters- very real!

4.5 stars rounded up! Typically I can write a review immediately after reading a book but this one I had to sit on for a few days because it just emotionally wrecked me. After discussing it with some of my amazing bookish ladies club members I feel more capable of writing this review.
Colleen Hoover does it again this woman has a way of affecting me down to my core and her books always leave me screaming for more! Her characters always connect with me and the stories grasp me from the first page.
Regretting You is a powerful and emotional story about the challenges a teenage daughter and her mother must face after a devastating tragedy. This book made me angry, swoon, cry and scream it affected me for days after finishing it and I’m not sure when this book hangover is going to end.
So if I loved it so much why isn’t it a 5 star for me I’m not going to spoil anything but all I’m going to say is The Letters. If you’ve read this book you know what I’m talking about! Colleen Hoover if you’re reading this I need to know WHY?!?!

Simply put Colleen Hoover does it again. This book about grief, love, friendship and family took me on such an emotional roller coaster. I loved the characters - CoHo has such a way of making her characters come to life. It feels as if you know them. I definitely felt that here.
There is a dual romance that worked really well within the story. You will find yourself invested in both these relationships and rooting for the characters to have a true shot at some well deserved happiness. The mother-daughter relationship represented really resonated with me and touched my heart.
Doesn't Hoover have a gift for thinking up the BEST leading men?! She knows how to make you fall for these fictional characters as if they were real. Both Jonah and Miles stole my heart. They now have a special space for themselves amongst my most beloved "book boyfriends". Trust me - you'll fall for them too. Just remember I claimed Jonah first! 🥰
I don't want to give away any spoilers BUT there was one piece of the story that was left unanswered and this girl wanted in on the first hand knowledge - badly! I closed my kindle with a thud of aggression at NOT having the satisfaction I wanted. Why CoHO, Why? Your characters might have been fine with it but this reader wanted, no I needed, that closure! 😉 Still, I can't really hold it against you. You know just how to get to me and I'm here for whatever you decide to write next girl!

I was so excited to get an ARC of Colleen Hoover’s latest novel, Regretting You. Her writing style always grips you from the beginning and you get so engrossed with the story whether you love it or hate. Her books usually go either extreme of the spectrum for me which I love because it keeps me on my toes.
Regretting You is honestly one of my top 3 favorite books from her! The characters were well developed and I loved the alternating mother/daughter POV. This reads sort of like a YA and kind of not. I love that Colleen’s writing grips the reader from the beginning and the reader is so engrossed with the storyline. Overall if you love romance or if you’re already a fan of CoHo, you’ll definitely want to add this one onto your TBR.

This book is the reason I don't let myself read at night anymore. I started reading around 7pm on Tuesday night and I stayed up until I finished it at 3am. I couldn't put the book down and I don't regret it! :)
Regretting You is one of the best books I've read all year—it had everything, sisters, secrets, love, loss and a little romance. I can't wait for this book to be out in the world so everyone can read it and we can talk about it!

Regretting You by Colleen Hoover is a complicated, yet beautiful story of a family trying to navigate through personal tragedy in their own way. It describes what you would think is your typical family...mom, dad, aunt, daughter, and throw in a long lost love and of course an unexpected tragedy that leaves more questions, and problems, than answers. When mom, Morgan , receives a devastating phone call, her daughter Clara is left trying to figure out life as a teenager. The relationship of Morgan and Clara is already complicated, but they can’t figure out how to communicate, and hold back truths in order to protect each other, when in the end, the truth always comes out. The story is told between alternating points of view between Morgan and Clara, and it is so well done.
This book is raw, it will tug at your emotions. You will feel the depths of each character. It was romantic, frustrating, beautiful, tragic, sad...and CoHo does it all so well! The characters are relatable, they have difficult relationships, and even more decisions that need to be addressed. And you will hang on each word until the end.
I am a huge Colleen Hoover fan, I feel I need to disclose that. Her books are all so different, yet each one is perfect, I honestly don’t know how she does it, but she pulls it off. Regretting You is no different. I admit, I had to fully digest this book for a few days before I could write my review...it really stayed with me. You will love it from the first chapter to the last. Her chapters flow so well, her characters are so well defined, it’s amazing.
I would like to thank Netgalley, Montlake Romance, and the Queen herself, Colleen Hoover for an advanced reader copy of Regretting You in exchange for an honest review. Read it...you won’t regret it!

This was my first CoHo book and now I don’t understand why I haven’t read any of her other books yet. I’m shook. I don’t even know how to put into words what this book made me feel. There were so many twists and turns, ups and downs. Somehow CoHo can make you feel life’s best and worst emotions in one book. I’ve lost both of my parents and I felt some of that devastation come through in this book. When I first started reading it I thought, “Oh this one will probably only get 3 and half stars from me like most romances do.” CoHo had other ideas. This book not only gets ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ but is going down as one of my favorite books of all time. The only bad thing I can say about this one is that I’m pissed about the book hangover I’m going to have. This book releases on December 10,2019 and if you don’t buy it, you’re really missing out! Preordering my copy now🙌🏻

I didn’t know what to expect from this as a Colleen lover, especially after Verity! Regretting You is the PERFECT light read that you just can’t put down. I loved every bit of Jonah, Morgan & Clara‘s emotional journey.
Thank you SO much to Netgalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read this one early :)!

Colleen Hoover strikes again.
Regretting You chronicles the aftermath of a tragedy in a family that was just living a normal existence. High school sweethearts Morgan and Chris married young when she became pregnant with their daughter, Clara. Sixteen years later, the couple navigates life with a teenager while managing the lives of Morgan's sister and her new husband and baby. When tragedy strikes their family suddenly, Clara and Morgan are faced with learning how to deal with loss, love, and what it looks like to move on gracefully.
There is so much to say about this novel. It includes all of the touching aspects of Hoover's other works (All Your Perfects, It Ends With Us) while including slight humor amid the heavy storylines. Hoover masterfully creates a world that is interrupted by unexpected events. One of the strong suits of Hoover's storytelling is her realistic portrayal of any circumstance. The characters were deep and raw. This book read like a wonderful movie that even your boyfriend/husband could appreciate. There were two storylines that followed the mother, Morgan and the daughter, Clara. Hoover wove both of their romances and trials together well and brought their stories together with rich details. As the mother of a daughter, I was touched and saddened as I read about the cracks in Morgan's and Clara's relationship. The scenes in this book ripped my heart out then put it all back together in the end. This novel provides romance, drama, and hope all in one.
This novel earned 4.5 stars (rounded to 5).
Thank you Netgalley for a copy of this novel in exchange for my honest review.
Regretting You hits shelves on December 10, 2019.

“I think that’s the problem. Teenagers think their parents should have it all figured out, but the truth is, adults don’t really know how to navigate life any better than teenagers do.”
Colleen Hoover, you’ve done it again with another beautiful and heart wrenching novel! Regretting You is an exploration of mother-daughter relationships, first loves, tragedy and betrayal, unrequited love, and the choices that shape a person’s life. Additionally, the theme of regret is woven into the storyline as the characters reflect on their past and current decisions, and how those decisions affect the people they love. It’s almost impossible for me to remain spoiler-free in summarizing this book, but what I will say is that CoHo fans will love this one just as much as her others!
The title might be Regretting You, but I definitely didn’t regret reading this wonderful book. Just in time for the holiday season, this one is hitting shelves December 10th...add it to your wish list!
Thank you so much to NetGalley, Montlake Romace, and Colleen Hoover for this digital ARC in exchange for my honest review!

Colleen Hoover does it again. If you are a CoHo fan, then you will be delighted that her writing quality and tone has remained consistent in her new novel - finished it in one sitting!
She introduces us to a group of friends and family that have chemistry and secrets from the past that is now impacting their future in the most original storyline.
In this novel, she brings multiple original scenarios to light (family, marriage, death, and teenage angst) and delves deep into giving us the story behind the characters with dual point of views.
If you are new to reading Colleen Hoover, you will find her quickly addicting for she writes in a way that is unapologetic to society's standards weaved in with high emotions and romance.
I definitely recommend this book!

Good grief, Colleen! Every single book you write just gets better and better. It doesn’t matter what you write, I’m going to give it 5 stars. It’s a given. No other author consistently makes me relate to each character and brings out emotions I didn’t even know I had. You seriously pulled all of the feels out of me on this one!
You guys, this book is amazing. If you have read Hoover’s other books, you know what I’m talking about. And if you haven’t read any of her books, do it now. Right now! My fellow CoHorts and I have been waiting anxiously for this release. I was fortunate enough to score an advanced copy and I felt like I won the lottery when I found out. It truly doesn’t matter what Hoover writes…she’s going to knock your socks off. She can write any genre and it will blow your mind. When she released a thriller last December called Verity, I was on the edge of my seat the entire time I read it. I’m still talking about it almost a year later. I think all of her fans were shocked at how well written it was being a different genre from her usual romance/young adult books. It just proved what we already knew…this woman is a genius!
Hoover pulls your heartstrings with Regretting You. So many emotions came out when I least expected it. She took a different route with this one with alternating views from Morgan, and her 16-year-old daughter, Clara. I cried, as I do in every one of Colleen’s books. It covers teenage romance, adult romance, mother/daughter relationships, friendships, tragedy, you name it.
I always go into Colleen’s books not knowing what to expect, but I know I’m going to love it. My advice is to just go in blind. Don’t even read the excerpt. You’re going to love it no matter what.
Preorder this right now! It releases on December 10 and you don’t want to wait any longer to get this one in your hands. I preordered a copy and will be rereading it as soon as it comes in.
Thank you to Montlake Romance and NetGalley for an advanced copy in exchange for an honest review.

Thank you #netgalley for the advanced copy of Regretting You! Colleen has written another amazing story that pulls you in right from the beginning. The different tales of loss, grief, love, guilt are so real and raw, I felt so much for all of the characters. Miller’s relationship with his Gramps is one of my favorite parts! I would definitely recommend!

I didn’t have a physical copy of the book, but if I did I would be hugging it before I started because that’s how excited I was to be able to read it early. I felt every emotion in reading “Regretting You”. There is a beautiful reference in the book about snow globes and how sometimes we are shaken up like them in our lives. I’ve always thought this about snow globes and people. Well, I felt much the same way reading it. I felt as though I was stuck inside the globe with all the characters feelings and emotions and someone was shaking up the snow globe where everything was a mess..... In the end though the snow globe was finally put back on the shelf and all was well as someone wound it up to play “Here comes the Sun”. I loved Regretting You. There isn’t a book I’ve read of Colleen’s I haven’t loved. Can’t wait for everyone to be shaken up like a snow globe! Beautiful book!

I read a lot of books in a year. So I'm always looking for a book that will stick with me far after I've finished reading it. I've also read all of Colleen's books. I would read anything she writes without even knowing what it is about at. Regretting You is one that made me feel something, which is what I'm looking for in any book. This did not disappoint.
