Though I can't say I loved this book, it was enjoyable and I appreciated the relief this book brings to be reminded it's ok to not have it all together and be a perfect wife and mother! Kerri's humor and personal stories were fun to read and it was a nice light-hearted read.

I fell in love with this book when I read it. I had to purchase a physical copy for myself to highlight all my favorites. I often refer to myself as a #hotmess so this book fits me perfectly. I love the storytelling, humor, relatable and just plain laugh out loud moments throughout the book. It is a super encouraging book and lots of scripture throughout the book. When we begin to realize that we aren't all created for the same purpose and realize our limitations it makes it easier to move forward. God LOVES ME no matter what. The devotion that goes along with the book called "She Rises Late and Her Kids Make her Breakfast" is also a fantastic book. I love this quote from the book, "Maybe God has called us to work on ourselves and help others so we can relate to their mishaps and struggles." #HotMess4Jesus

I received this book from NetGalley for an honest review.

Kerri Pomarolli writes a book that makes all mom relate to her and the day to day struggles we all have. It's a great book to encourage all of us that God loves us the way we are and will make you laugh as you along the way.

Confessions of a Proverbs 32 Woman is a hilarious and honest look at Kerri Pomarolli's life, but I think all women can relate to her story in some way. The Proverbs 31 woman is an excellent example of what we should strive for, but we all fall short. In this day and age of social media, we as women are constantly bombarded by images of women who "seem" to have it so much more together than the rest of us. I appreciated the transparency of Kerri Pomarolli when she was so open and honest about her life. It was an encouragement to those of us who feel discouraged by all those who appear to have it so together. I had many laugh out loud moments and she was just so relatable. This book was my introduction to Kerri Pomarolli and I look forward to reading much more in the future.

"Confessions of a Proverbs 32 Woman by Kerri Pomarolli is a book about the proverbs 32 woman. The author is a comedian and shares the challenges with meeting the standards in Proverbs 31. It addresses real life issues as a Christian Woman today. She helps us laugh at ourselves in this book and see life for what it is. She is a best selling author. She speaks at churches all over and gives women a real perspective on meeting God realistically as a Mom and Wife in our busy , demanding world. It is wonderful she has written this book. It helps women step aside and view their lives with a balanced perspective. Thank you to the publisher and netgalley for allowing me to read and review this practical and humorous book I will post my review on facebook, netgalley, Goodreads, my blog, Amazon, for our church staff.

I love the gorgeous cover of this book!

I also love the fact that this book is about acceptance and love and being okay with having flaws! I will never be the Proverbs 31 woman, but in the Christian community we are bombarded with the message that that's exactly what we are supposed to be. And if we aren't, then we are falling short. This kind of shaming that is reserved specifically for females, misses the point of the Bible since one of the MAJOR points is: We ALL fall short. Anyways, this book acknowledges that we are supposed to come to God in our mess. That it's okay not to be perfect. I am all for that message being spread far and wide throughout the Christian community since it leaves less room for judgment and false fronts and more room for honesty, fellowship, and love.

I would have liked more practical advice or prayers or something mixed in with the anecdotes that help those of us who have been striving for the Proverbs 31 ideal (fruitlessly) our whole lives to accept that God loves the beautiful mess that we are.

Even when we mess up and are messed up and our houses and kids look like they just spun out of a tornado, we are still loved. This book was hilarious and a pick me up for any mama who's feeling down about the state of well, everything.

Confessions of a Proverbs 32 Woman is a humorous, encouraging, and convicting book. I was laughing out loud while also taking notes because there were so many truth bombs.
Kerri Pomarolli discusses the Proverbs 31 woman, and how as Christian's we are to strive to live up to that title. However, it is not very easy, especially in today's society. We are in a society full of hustle, surviving, and worry. Pomarolli does an excellent job intertwining her comedian jokes about how, although she is a Christian and strives to be the Prov. 31 woman, she often fails. I related with the author so much, and it was encouraging to know that I am not the only one that tries hard, but often fails.
She is encouraging while providing Bible verses throughout the chapters. Her stories were so relatable and reading it seemed just like I was talking with a friend.
I highly recommend reading this book!

This is a fun book for moms who feel like we aren't keeping up with all the other Pinterest-perfect moms. Pomarolli thinks we are doing just fine and she's probably right that God thinks so too. I appreciated the humor in this memoir and it came with a few things to think about in your own life.

Thanks so much to NetGalley for an advanced copy of this book for a fair and honest review.

Have you heard about the Proverbs 31woman? I have and I have also wondered how she did it all! Some days I cam barely make coffee much less make all the food, weave the clothing and be the best, most supportive wife and mother there is. When I can not meet those expectations, I have been left feeling discouraged, depressed and defeated. Kerri Pomarolli offers a thoughtful, funny and relatable take on how women unsuccessfully try to be a Proverbs 31 woman today and how we need to accept our realistic limitations. God is aware of these limitations and loves us no matter what. She reminds us God sees our heart and our intentions and loves us even when we fail at the lofty foals we set for ourselves. I will be recommending this when it is published for my friends who sometimes question whether we are food enough.

What a great read! I received an ARC from NetGalley and will be recommending this read to friends when it releases in November. Kerri Pomarolli is hilarious, relatable and will connect with every mom. As a mom who struggles to keep everything together, I connected deeply with her honesty and her work on what it really means to be a biblical woman. Highly, highly recommend!

If you've ever read or heard about the Proverbs 31 woman and felt like she was unattainable like the poster image of models on catwalks or glossy magazine covers or the heroic acts you read about online, then reading this book will make you laugh and also shed light on your perfect imperfections.
Thanks Netgalley for the eARC, I believe it's high time someone told young girls and women in general that it's okay to be not okay and God loves you just as much.

Have you wondered how the Proverbs 31 superwoman actually functioned on a daily basis? Have you decided you don't measure up to her? Well, how about a Proverbs 32 (ha) woman offered by comedienne Kerri Pomarolli? 32 is real. She has issues and drives through to the next task courageously. She struggles, yet bounces back while focusing on becoming her best self, not duplication of an image.

This is a refreshing read. At times, it's deep and uses humor to gently bring home the message. I look forward to more from this author.

I received a complimentary copy of the book without obligation. This review is my opinion.
