Ever wonder about a missing piece of you? Emerson searches for her missing piece and finds something(one..s) worth more.

I had higher hopes for the storyline but it was a cute read nonetheless.

*Wanderlove is a brand new, emotional, angsty stand-alone*
This is my first book by Rachel Blaufeld & I was not disappointed by that tagline!!

What an amazing book!! Emerson and Price were such an awesome couple. The way Price stood next to her, never behind her, was just so...amazing. I think Emerson took things a bit too far when it came to her dad, making him suffer like that.

All in all, this book was sooooo good!!!

Ok, I love NA books. I'm a sucker for young love, and angst. I thought this one was really fun and I read it in one sitting! It's not a favorite, but a perfect binge read.

I didn’t expect this story to get as emotional as it did, but there were a few pages that were hard to read through...teary eyes and all.

Emerson and Price’s story was a beautifully sweet coming-of-age romance. Both characters out looking to find their place in life. Emerson off in search of the mother she never and trying to get out from under her father’s over protective watch. Price’s life has also recently changed and in a big way. Now he’s openly rebelling against expectations of a father he just met.

Together they help fill their missing puzzle pieces that the other so craftedly fit into. They become their own support system and find a love truer than they could have dreamed of.

I love a good angst-y teen romance book and this one had soo many feels oh my goodness. It has everything you could ever want for a good love story. There was suspense, love, and major plot twists. I really enjoyed the romance here it seemed well written. It was definitely a insta love kinda book. I felt the end was super rushed. I felt it ended to neatly. Everything was wrapped up in a nice little package. Did we REALLY need them to get engaged and pregnant? Couldn't we have just had a little cliff hanger?

Thank you to the author, the publisher, and netgalley for allowing me to review this title.

If there is one thing that I can say for certain, is that I love Rachel Blaufield. Have I fell in love immediately with ALL of her books, no, but for the most part they are exactly what I need. A story that sucks you in, character's that give you all the feels and the HEA the isn't always easy to obtain, but obtained nonetheless.

Wanderlove is one of those books that kills you with the angst and the feels but ugh, OMG.. There wasn't one thing that I did not adore about Price and Emerson. These two character's were brutally honest and nothing about them was deceptive or misleading. Their journey's through lifer hard, but it leads them to each other, and the swoons are super swooney!

A must read!!!!

I realized at a little over the halfway point of Wanderlove that this book wasn't for me.

Wanderlove follows Price and Emmerson. They end up meeting by chance in New York where they had both just moved to for very different reasons. They were all alone in this new big city. With Price being a college student and Emmerson working two jobs to make things work while she searches for her mom.

Overall Price and Emmerson were two characters that separately I liked, even them just being friends I liked. But when they started dating things went from 0 to 100 way too fast for me especially with all the other things they had going on. For me, this book would have worked great if it had been spread out over a longer period of time and they would have gotten to know each other more. We had Emmerson who was trying to find her mom and was fixated on this so much that when things got messed up with that she broke down. Then we have Price who is coming to terms still with having money and dealing with his life-changing from being the life he had always thought he would have on his family's farm to the one of living in New York and becoming a high profile business person of sorts. All of this going on along with the bombshell that was dropped about Price's bio father and Emmerson's bio mom (I had guessed this beforehand due to how vague people were being) I just stopped being as interested in the story. This is a story that should be told especially when it comes to the addiction storyline but that was glossed over mostly. I also didn't like how it seemed like the men in Emmerson's life started making decisions for her or persuading her into them even though she felt like things were moving to fast. I just noticed a lot of little things with this book that I wasn't okay with sadly.
One thing I did really enjoy about this book is Emmerson's friendship with Bev. They were so supportive of each other and it was really nice to see.

I love Rachel's work and I was thrilled to read this. It's not my favorite as it got slow for me in a couple parts but it was a great short and steamy NA romance. The characters were easy to like and this story kept my attention.

Thank you Netgalley, the author and publisher for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Wanderlove by Rachel Blaufeld is a full length, standalone, NA romance and contains everything I love in a good read. There's suspense, a fantastic story, major twists and turns, turns I never had expected and a beautiful hea.
Meet Emerson Bender. She's a 18 year old about to go to college. She grew up with her dad and her mother never was in the picture. But now she wants to know her roots. And away to NYC she goes.
Prince Barnes is a 23 year old small town boy/man. He was gently forced to move to NYC to attend college, all costs paid - I mean what a hardship - but he isn't happy. He graves his home, his mom - yep no joke - and his stepfather.
Both are wandrer destined to cross paths in a very unexpected way.
Wanderlove is nothing what I expected and at the same everything I could have asked for. I loved the writing and the storyline. 4 Stars.

It was the beautiful cover that originally drew me to ‘Wanderlove’ but once I started reading, I was genuinely excited for the novel. Although it started out strong something happened around chapter 6 that I can't quite put my finger on. I was left feeling disjointed from the story.

Usually, I'm not opposed to a good insta love romance but for this couple, it felt wrong. There was not enough of a connection between the two to start with. They really needed more time and scenes together to build on the relationship.

I also feel like the ending was rushed. Did they really have to get engaged and pregnant? I feel like it wasn't necessary.

I received an advanced copy and voluntarily left a review. Thank you Netgalley

I really enjoyed reading the relationship of Emerson and Price develop. I was not expecting the twist towards the end, so it was definitely a surprise. I'm looking forward to reading more from this author.

“When your heart is wandering and looking for love and you find it, you grab it and hold on to it.

2.5 stars

A dramatic and slightly angsty new adult/coming of age story as two strangers on very different paths unexpectedly meet in the big city. I admit, it was the cover of this book that drew me in - look at it, it’s stunning! But sadly, I just couldn’t get into this one.

Sick of the rules and boundaries imposed upon her by her father, 18 year old Emerson packs up and moves to New York City, desperate to track down her mother who gave her up when she was only a few days old. She doesn’t have much to go on, but she is determined to find what she believes is a missing piece of herself.

Also displaced from all that he knows, Price is a 23 year old farm boy who has been plucked from his perfectly happy life by a father he never knew and brought to New York to live in luxury while attending college in order to make the most of his life. It’s a life he doesn’t like or want, and he’s counting the days until he can return home.

Two people all alone in the big city are brought together by coincidence, or maybe fate? There’s a spark that, though initially unwelcome, very quickly becomes irresistible as they start to fall for each other. They become a touchstone for each other, and I enjoyed seeing their relationship develop.

But both of them are still searching for something, trying to figure out their lives and where they belong, and they have a journey of ups and downs ahead of them.

My personal life was like a storybook run through the paper shredder. All of my early chapters blown to bits, with nothing to show for where I’d been and what I’d done.
With empty pages behind me, it was time for me to write my own future.

There were parts of this book that I liked – the themes of friendship and family are strong, and the twist in the story added a nice touch (it was hinted at enough that it wasn’t a surprise, but I liked the complexity that it added). But for the most part this story felt a bit disjointed for me. There were key scenes that seemed to be missing, and instead are just mentioned in passing, and as much as I enjoyed seeing Emerson and Price together, I didn’t really feel their connection.

“You’re it for me,” I told her. “Enough for me. For always.”

Price is a great hero – fun, witty, caring, realistic, and such a sweetheart. I think my biggest issue was with Emerson, who I just didn’t like as a heroine. She seemed so spoiled and whiney. I know she’s young, and that certainly can explain some of her behaviour, but from the first few pages where she packed up and left her loving, caring, perfectly reasonable and fabulous father just because he wouldn’t allow her to sleep at her douchbag boyfriend’s house, I thought she was a brat. And with the continued whining and the way she handled certain situations, I just never warmed to her.

This is my first read by this author, and I wasn’t too sure what to expect. I really wanted to love it, but I just couldn’t get invested in it.

It was ok – 2.5 stars.

This book is a unique ride of a young lady wanting to find out about her past but stumbles into something so much bigger than that. Emerson is a unique character. She is sassy and a fighter but inside, she is a scared girl who just wants to know who she really is. She makes one of a kind friends that help her in a way she never thought possible and it all tumbles from there. The connection between her and Price is evident from the start. Their heartstrings tugging towards each other with no clue as to why. When things come to light, they both have things they need to decide.
One thing I found about this story is while it is heavy on the angst because of this age the characters are, you find how much you feel for them as well. There are a lot of raw emotions that come into play and make it hard to put the book down. I wanted to know how and why. The who and the what. Blaufeld wrote something so magically stunning that it is one of a kind! I highly recommend this book!

I really enjoyed this one. It reminded me why I love this author's storytelling so much.

Price and Emerson are definitely not love at first sight. I loved that they clashed. I loved that it wasn't all sweet. Their banter/dialogue was great and I have to say Price is one swoony guy. He definitely had me hooked. It's a really easy read - meaning not huge amounts of angst, just great characters and a story that had me hooked.

Wonderful!
This young adult romance is unlike any I have read before. Smart, clever, brimming with passion and humor.
Emerson and Price find themselves in NYC for different reasons and meet unexpectedly. Is it a coincidence or fate?
Theirs is a gut wrenching coming of age story, that turns into something far deeper. It wasn’t just about their insta attraction and undeniable chemistry. It was about a deeply moving friendship and connection that helped both of them individually finding answers.
What they discover was jaw dropping!
A certain twist in the story gave their story additional edge which gave their story more depth.
As their story unfolded I enjoyed their vulnerability and how realistic they were portrayed.
It’s a story of love, friendship and family.
Of acceptance and forgiveness!
4.5 stars!

If you are looking for a quick romance that isn't too complicated, but still steamy, definitely pick this one up! I found it to be super predictable, but it was still entertaining. It held my attention until the end. There wasn't much very unique about it, but it was a quick romance, which is exactly what I needed at this time. I still recommend it.
