I was disappointed with this book.
I felt that the storyline was poor and the authors writing style lacked depth.
The characters were relatable. It was an easy read though

Such a lovely little story. Lots of emotion.

A story of love lost and found.

I loved it that the story focused on a main character that had issues that she needed to overcome and a loving husband who helps her get through it.

Would highly recommend.

A bit slow to start, but worth persevering past the beginning as it’s such a lovely read, if you love Christmas and romance then this is the book for you, perfect for a cold night curled up in front of the fire, this is warmth in book form. A great romantic read with drama, relatable characters and touching on important issues too for a light read. This is a great seasonal light read.

I loved this story, it was like a warm Christmassy hug in a book!  One of those books that caught my attention straight away and I couldn't put down.

Years ago Luke and Elizabeth married and had two children, but Elizabeth fell into a deep depression after losing both her parents to a freak accident, being pregnant with her daughter at the time, then had her son very shortly after, and had to cope with severe postpartum depression with both children. She tried to drag herself out of it, but one day just disappeared from Luke and her childrens lives with no explanation.

Some people thought Luke had killed his wife, and a new District Attorney decides she is going to prosecute him for murder, so with the help from an FBI friend he eventually finds out that Elizabeth is actually alive and living under another name.  He is torn about what to do, but needs her to clear his name and save him going to jail, so goes to her new home and confronts her, brings her back to Haven Point and clears his name.

There are just so many emotions flowing through this book.  Obviously there are reasons why Elizabeth stayed away for seven years, very tragic ones, which once revealed change peoples perceptions of the situation.  Of course her children don't understand, especially her now 10 year old daughter who initially wants nothing to do with her 'missing' Mother.  Luke slowly starts warming towards his wife again and the Christmas magic starts to work on everyone.

A really lovely book, one with a Christmas title that does actually have a real festive feel to it too, which I've found isn't always the case with so-called Christmas books!  Very, very enjoyable story that leaves you with a really warm Christmas feeling.  Just perfect!

This was a very good read. I loved the fact that this touched on mental health and kind of gives advice on how to deal with it in a light-hearted romantic read setting. As well as touching upon some very important issues. Very high in drama but I really enjoyed reading it nonetheless.
