An honest review thanks to NetGalley. Umm... If you are a fan of erotica, this is the book for you. Outstanding and I am probably going to be rereading it again soon!

I received an #ebook copy via #netgalley. To me this book was a knock off version of Big Little Lies. It seems to follow the exact storyline. I am not a fan of books taking ideas from other books. I like #originality.

Never Knew Until You is a fantastic and entertaining book. The characters are interesting and well developed. The book is well written and would make a great gift for the holidays.

I received a digital advanced reader copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

So, I will be really honest about this.. It reminded me way too much of 50 Shades of Grey… but deep down I enjoyed it. I loved Parker and Kristina’s relationship. It almost seemed a bit stronger than most because of the BDSM elements. I am not usually one for erotic fiction, but I liked this..

The story itself seemed very repetitive to me. I felt like there were wayy too many repeating issues and nothing ever truly felt resolved. The erotic bits were well written and just down right steamy.

The chemistry between Parker and Kristina is absolute fire and their relationship blooms just so naturally. The age gap was something semi unexpected for me. This seems to be a real trend in today’s writing.

The story moved quickly and I finished it in less than a day. It is a quick and easy lesbian erotic romance! Thank you to the author, publisher, and NetGalley for allowing me to review this title.

Hot and Sexy. This is my first book from this author and I was skeptical at first. But as I got into the book and found that the chemistry between the characters spoke to me and that the dialogue was real and moved the story along perfectly, I found myself to be a believer. Kristina may have been young but her confidence, in most things, was exactly what Parker needed as she settled into divorceland. It was great and I will be keeping it around to read it again.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an arc copy of this book in exchange for a fair and honest review.

I enjoyed this Book especially as it did not stereotype lesbians which is unusual in most books. It was a nice story.

Parker, a professor, almost divorced and mature woman is searching for herself. Marion, her trusty best friend, pushes her to take a dip on the wild side. She does and meets Kristina, woman of mystery, dominance and lust. The author weaved the tale so strongly I became unraveled when it ended. This book will pull you in.

Thank you Netgalley for a copy of this eARC in exchange for a honest review.

I loved it. This book did what most erotica books fail at. It made me give a damn about the main characters and even the side characters. I enjoyed Parker and Kristina’s relationship outside of the sexy moments. I also hated the ex-wife and loved when she was put in her place. I would recommend this book to my friends and I would love to read more by this author.

This book wasn't too bad. I feel with a little bit of editing it could have been better. I was never 100% sure of who's point of view we were supposed to be seeing (this wasn't the typical romance story where one chapter was from one POV and the next from the second person's POV). It was kind of all over the place with one main POV slipping into the other every once in awhile. Otherwise a basically good story with minimal SMBD. Explicit without being over explicit (if that makes any sense).

This wasn’t exactly what I expected but I enjoyed it nonetheless.

The story was categorized as BDSM but it felt less BDSM and more about the two women who develop more feelings than they intended from what was supposed to be a purely sex based relationship. There are some BDSM elements but it feels secondary and more on the periphery.

The characters are a good contrast to each other. There’s a good amount of attraction and angst as they figure out what they are to each other. The story moves well as they go through their push and pull.

This is my first read from this writer and was enough to peak my interest in their other bodies of work.

I was entrigued when I read the synopsis of this book and was so thrilled I was granted permission to review. Once I started, I couldn't put it down. On the surface, it seemed like Parker and Kristina would never mesh, but wow, as their "relationship" grew so did they. They had chemistry immediately, despite Parker thinking she was waiting for Kristina's mom. And that chemistry made this book so hit. Granted, there is a BDSM element to this book but it was honestly handled in such a different way than others of this genre. I found that the romance was stronger due to the "Dom", "Sub" element. My only issue was how fast the book ended. I feel like I needed more there are the end. I highlt recommend this book and look forward to reading many more books from L.E. Royal in the future!

Thanks to Netgalley for sending me this ebook to review.

This book is about a 40 something year old woman who gets cheated on by her wife, gets a divorce and loses herself in the process. She decided to rediscover her sexuality and womanhood by participating in a "dom and sub" relationship she signed up for online. She quickly falls for her much younger dom and a relationship is built.

As a whole, the story itself was lackluster and there seemed to be a lot of sexual encounters between the two main characters. That might be great for the readers who are wanting to read mostly that kind of stuff but for me, I became bored with it after the first three times. I was wanting more background of Kristina (the dom) and depth throughout the book. We sort of her that towards the end but by that point I was a little bored and tired of the two characters going back and forth with loving each other.

Again, the steamy scenes were actually well written and were the more interesting parts of the book but the storyline was a little too slow for me.

3.5/5

Oh, this one is hot and NSFW. Professor Parker Freeman has just signed the divorce to end her 14-year marriage which hasn't been good for a long time. Her ex-wife's affairs have done nothing for her self-esteem and she feels it's time to try something new, something she's not even sure about. She contacts an agency to pair her with a domme so that she can explore her submissive side. She nearly walks out of the first meeting with the prospective domme because Kristina Diaz is not what she expected at all.

The result is an engaging story with two interesting main characters, loads of well-written erotic scenes, good secondary characters and a pretty good plot line. It's not heavy bdsm and there is a beautiful balance of explicit and fade-to-black content so that the scenes don't become repetitive or boring.

It's got the emotional connection, some angst, some drama as well as strong and smart women. The only thing that did bother me a little is that Kristina's origin story seemed like it was thrown in to elicit some sympathy for her when she was an already sympathetic character. Other than that, it's a lovely combination of elements.

Book received from Netgalley and NineStar Press for an honest review.

This book has an atmosphere thick with sex surrounded with emotion. In a story that starts off with seeking submission for empowerment after divorce we expected BDSM and kink, but the romance, chemistry and emotions were a huge – huge – plus.

At 40, Parker Freeman’s life is in shambles. After serial-cheating, Parker’s wife, Amanda has divorced her for a younger woman. Parker spends altogether too much time online in forums of recently divorced people trying to find a way to deal with the dissolution of her life. In one such forum she finds a recommendation for The Pandora Agency. Parker visits the agency’s website and finds that it purports to help people find themselves through submission. Fairly vanilla, Parker finds some things interesting but not quite for her. She’s egged on by her bestie, Marion, to give the whole thing a whirl. Hesitantly and nervously, Parker agrees to meet a domme, Miss Diaz. Miss Diaz turns out to be Kristina Diaz, a 24-year-old. Parker is almost ashamed at the age gap and tries to flee from Kristina, who asks for 15 minutes before Parker decides one way or another. Those turn out to be life-altering 15 minutes for Parker and their ‘arrangement’ falls into place.

The connection, the chemistry and the draw between the MCs is fantastic. Their relationship is built beautifully. The characterisations are so very well done. Parker is all things lovely and Kristina is all things angsty – and the combination so, so works.

This is a wonderful romance – don’t let the BDSM aspect give you a second thought (it is mild – and Parker is quite a sassy sub) – go for it.

Fantastic! The BDSM aspect was a bit lighter than I was expecting, but I still loved the book. The plot and characters felt very natural.

Intense.

What do you do after your wife of 14 years leaves you for the young woman she cheated on you with? Find a service to connect you with a hot young Latina woman to show you the wonderful world of submission. Reasonable.

I would put this in the erotic romance category. There was a lot of sexy times. Other reviewers say it is light on the BDSM aspect, but I wouldn't know because I don't know anything about that. I thought it was interesting that Kristina, the 24 year-old, was the Dom. It seemed like a reversal of what you would expect with an age gap relationship. I don't normally read books heavy on the sexual content, but I really got into this one. I guess light BDSM dynamic works for me.

Clearly the arrangement becomes jeopardized as feelings begin to become an obstacle because this is a romance, of course. Kristina and Parker have great physical chemistry from the very beginning. The gradual progression in their relationship felt natural and believable. I liked these two together and I was rooting for them.

At times, it was a bit morose. Intense and over dramatic. Kristina's repeated mantra of 'I don't do relationships' made me want to roll my eyes in frustration. But I'll take that over sickeningly sweet and fluffy any day. I felt their deep connection, which is surprising because I'm not sure if they ever really had any significant conversation. Does Parker even have a family?

Ultimately, I had a lot of fun reading this. It was hot, forbidden, tantalizing, and emotional.

I recommend this to people who like romance, angst, lots of sex, and VERY dedicated wing women.

Parker Freeman, feeling bad about herself, explores BDMS through a female dominant, Miss Diaz. Diaz is matched with Parker through an agency. Diaz uses the matching agency and the dominant role to limit her commitment to her partner. The story developed slowly, and focused on the internal struggles of both characters not to commit. Lots of sexual encounters, but not much of a plot.

Thanks to NetGalley and NineStar Press for the galley of Never Knew Until You by L.E. Royal!

Parker Freeman’s 14-year marriage just ended. Her ex-wife was cheating for years and has finally left her for a 30-something. Parker gave up the possibility of kids, among other things, for her ex’s wishes, and now she feels like she’s wasted all of that time. In an attempt to find herself, Parker spontaneously signs up with an agency to be a submissive believing that maybe such a relationship might help her find herself again. When she meets Miss Diaz, however, and discovers this 24 year-old is, in fact, not the daughter of her dominant, she gets cold feet. The two embark on a dominant-submissive relationship, and when things get deeper than sex for both of them, they’ll need to face their pasts for the possibility of a future.

This book is exactly what I needed right now. It’s supposedly fall. I’ve had a marathon of a summer, and this week hasn’t been the greatest. This book provided me the escape I needed with enough deeper feelings and romance to invest me in the characters and their future.

There’s plenty of hot sex if that’s what you’re after, plenty of awesome female friendships to remind you of that one friend who will call your bullshit when needed, and there’s a healthy dose of solid romance as well. Something for everyone.

It moves pretty quickly (I finished it in about a day), and it’s out on Tuesday, so make sure to add it to your fall lesfic reading if you need a sexy escape from reality for a minute.

It has been a long time since I fell in love with characters. I read this book in a matter of a few desperate hours, turning the pages as fast as I could whilst feeling a soul deep yearning for what the characters had found. When I came to the end, it was both beautifully completed and grief striking that there wasn't just one more scene to voyeuristically indulge in.

I'll be rereading at a painfully slow, one handed read kind of pace to thoroughly enjoy each torturously erotic moment.

Thank you for the reminder that even if it's only in my imagination, there is more than the daily grind.
