This had an interesting premise and a surprising twist. It started off really well but I felt it became a little repetitive after a while. It did keep me guessing and I didn't predict the ending at all.

I received an advanced reader's copy in exchange for an honest review
This one was a bit more procedure-ly than I had expected and that's not normally my favorite, but this book was so well-written and clever, and full of heart, I enjoyed every bit of it. I can't wait to read more in this series and from this writer.

I was drawn to this book because of the subject matter, dealing with people who are able to recognise faces. I was interested in what this would mean in the general sense, and, in relation to this book, how it helps in identifying criminals.
The main character, Kate, had a head injury which caused her to lose this ability. She forms a new relationship with a rich computer geek (Rob) who seemingly aids in her recovery from the injury. However, he mentions the existence of a doppelganger and from that point on Kate questions all she knows or thinks she knows about him.
The cast of characters, her friend, her former boyfriend and the police personal she worked with are all believable and are a good supporting cast to the story.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I cannot say it kept me guessing as some of it was “telegraphed” but I would still recommend this as a good read.
Thanks to the publishers Head Of Zeus and to Netgalley.co.uk for allowing me to preview this book for a fair and honest opinion.

Oooooh! This is one hell of an exciting story! The Other You is one of those once in a lifetime books that you feel privileged to have read. Although it has some small issues I found them so easy to overlook since I found the plot so exciting.
Has Kate lost her mind or has her boyfriend Rob been replaced by a doppelgänger?
That’s the best way to describe the plot without giving away any spoilers. The Other You is a must read!
