Remi loves acting but having a crazy stalker is something she could do without. Her older brother has hired bodyguards to protect her but she's tired of being followed everywhere she goes, even to the bathroom. After she gives her bodyguards the slip a few times Mason, the boss of the company, decides to do the job himself. What he didn't count on was how hard it was going to be to stay professional. Remi and Mason are great together but the stalker doesn't think so. Enjoyable romantic suspense.

Sometimes Mason's woman is impatient, “in a hurry?” He grabbed the wall as she yanked his jeans down and he kicked them off." I liked this book, I liked Mason.

Remi Divine has lived most of her life in the public eye, but that just comes with being a famous actress. After too many creepy letters from a stalker and one house break-in, her overprotective brother highers a security company to keep her safe. Now she's 3000 miles away from her stalker in Harmony Pointe, NY, and is fed up with being ushered around like an object and not a person by her bodyguards, she demands one plain-clothed guard. Mason Swift is the best in the business and takes his job seriously. He soon learns that Remi Devine has so much more depth than she projects publicly.

This is Love is what I like to call a "Hallmark" suspense since it has a sweet love story and minimal conflict. Remi and Mason have both suffered great tragedies having lost parents and Mason having lost friends while at war, I was truly heartbroken for them both. The stalker helped keep the anticipation, waiting for him to pop up. I love how helping others became a big part of the story, especially such a vulnerable population. There are so many side characters that I was continually confused, especially when there was a large gathering. While I have read a few Melissa Foster books, I have not read them all, I can appreciate carryover characters or characters that make cameos but there are just so many it was too much for me to keep straight. Overall this is a sweet story with a little bit of suspense to keep it interesting.

I was given an ARC from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

This is the 2nd book in the Harmony Pointe series but it certainly can be read as a standalone. Having read the first in the series, this had familiar known characters and great new ones. Another romantic, hot story with a strong and interesting storyline. I loved the bonds between the group of friends who share each others happiness, good and bad times. Such an easy, engaging read which I could not put down.

I cannot wait for the next one in the series.

4.5 stars

Despite the author having written some 65 books I have to confess this is the first one I've read and for the most part I enjoyed it. It's got the feel of The Bodyguard to it with superstar actress Remi being protected from a stalker by bodyguard Mason. Remi doesn't like being followed around and kept in a box and Mason is determined to keep her safe. Needless to say they clash and sparks start to fly.

It's certainly a fun read and Mason and Remi do have some chemistry. I do love the whole forced together trope so for the most part this worked for me. Unfortunately though I feel like once they got together it lost a little something. I would have preferred a little more conflict and teasing between them. It all gets a little too lovey dovey a little too fast for me.

It also seemed like there were a lot of other characters, none of which were particularly well fleshed out. I suspect they featured in the authors previous books so if you're a fan you'll probably love seeing how they're all doing. As a Foster newbie I'm afraid it was too many people with too much back story I just didn't care about. I ended up skimming through the sections when they're all together as I couldn't keep track of everyone and their relationships.

Anyway, it is a sweet and funny story with some steamy scenes so if like me you like that kind of thing I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

Another enjoyable addition to the Harmony Pointe book series. Rémi Devine is an A list actress with a stalker and an overprotective brother/manager Aiden. Ramie hated having a bodyguard and ditched her previous team. While Aiden is out of the country on a business deal, he hires Mason to run Remi’s security detail. There is instant attraction, and the fact that Mason wants to help Remi live a relatively normal life while still being safe increases Remi’s attraction. I liked both Remi and Mason and catching up on the other characters from the Sugar Lake/Harmony Pointe universe. Definitely a fun, steamy romance. I received an ARC of this book from NetGalley for my honest review.

Remi is a young Academy Award winning actress. Despite her success at an early age, she has been lonely for much of her life. Her parents were killed in a car accident when she was 12, and her older brother raised her after that. She has recently increased her circle of friends, but most of her friends have significant others which has made her feel a bit left out. To compound this, she has been experiencing threats from a stalker.

Mason owns a security and protection company and was hired by Remi’s brother to protect her after a stalker broke into her home. Mason and Remi are instantly attracted to each other, but Mason fights the attraction due to their business relationship. Mason grew up in foster homes after he was taken away from his drug-addicted mother. He never had a family and isn’t sure that he even knows what love is.

Can two people lonely people with such different backgrounds and such challenges in their lives find happiness together?

This was a decent book, but so cheesy in parts. I like the author and have read her before. Thank you to netgalley for the arc.

Really cute story. Remi and Mason were both such great characters, Remi showed strength when it would have been easier to run and hide and Mason for such a strong man was able to make himself vulnerable. A couple of scenes brought tears to my eyes. A must read!

"This is Love" is a perfectly kindled romance that has just the right amount of action, sex, and love. Foster always does a great job at building up the budding relationships bewteen characters without forcing awkward situations into the mix. I enjoyed reading about Remi and Mason and seeing their relationship form. This is the perfect read after devling into novels that have more difficult subject matter. While "This is Love" still deals with real issues, they are subdued and allow a reader to set themselves aside from the more difficult subject matter because of the emphasis on love and romance. Thanks Melissa Foster for another great read!

I admit I was drawn to the pretty cover. Ok, not pretty but smoking hot model on the cover and the very few reviews that were found on Goodreads had nothing but good about this. So i went into the book expecting something amazing. Unfortunately I felt like I was let down. Generally I manage to read a book in a day or two but this book took me a lot longer. I do not know why but I did not manage to get into it completely. The premise was good and the characters were ok but I guess it simply wasn't that alluring to me.

Book 2 of Melissa Foster's Harmony Pointe series, is just as good as the first one. Remi and Mason's instant attraction and slow burn romance makes for some entertaining reading! Whether you are a new reader or an old friend of this group of close-knit friends, Foster writes well flushed out characters and storylines that can be taken in order or as a standalone. I really enjoyed this romance and look forward to more in this series.

This is Remi and Mason book, it's the second book in the harmony Pointe series! I've read the first book but both can be read as stand alone. Remi is a movie star and her over protective brother keeps her under lock and key or at least he tries! But Remi has a rebellious streak and getting rid of her overbearing bodyguards is top priority! Mason is a bodyguard his new assignment is to watch over a hot shot movie star who he knows is just a spoiled brat diva princess! But when the sparks fly between them both he knows his assignment must come first! This book and series is good and definitely worth reading but it's not my favorite! It's a little too insta everything and slow going in the beginning but like I said it's still worth reading it's definitely better than a lot of books I've come across lately ! Lol thank you Netgalley and the publishers for sharing this book with me!
