Remi Devine has a stalker and her brother has gotten her a bodyguard. Several actually and she has slipped past them. Now he has hired the owner of the security company, hoping he can keep up with Remi. While Remi is in Harmony Pointe filming her latest movie, she wants to take some time off as soon as filming is over, spend time with her brother and their friends. When she meets the new bodyguard, she is drawn to him in a way that will test both of their limits.

Mason Swift is the man people go to when they need security or protection. His first impression of Remi was that she was a spoiled princess and just needed to be brought down a notch. But what he found was a woman who needed someone that saw the real person. She is a strong, independent woman. And Mason is trying to not lose his heart to her.

Can they catch the stalker before he gets to Remi? Will they be able to keep their feelings hidden until the time is right to share? What will happen when the job is over for Mason?

Remi and Mason are made for each other in a way that makes you wish everyone finds their soul mates. The way he wants to protect her and let her live her life as free as possible is so heartwarming and loving, it makes you swoon. The story is perfect and has you rooting for a happily ever after ending for them.

I love Melissa Foster and look forward to anything she writes, she is an automatic yes author for me in the review group. So, if you haven't read anything of hers yet, you need to now. You will not be disappointed.

This is the second book in the series, but if you are a Foster fan you will catch familiar characters from other books. You could also read it as a starting point to Foster's work and go back when you want to read more of the goodness!

Actress Remi Divine has a stalker, but she hates having a bodyguard even more. However, her brother calls in Mason to keep her in line as she starts filming a new movie. As you can imagine that does not go down well, but they somehow call a truce, and even become good friends. I really enjoyed being with them on set, and the insight into how it must actually be to switch on and off between scenes. There are hints as to who the stalker may be... and the level of concern cleverly swings from pretty serious to being low key, which works well with regards to tension!

It was fun to see them open up to each other and behave in a very close and friendly way, as well as being strongly attracted to each other. When they visit with Mason's friends and Remi finally gets to have some girlfriend time, we get to see how cut off her life has always been.

I was completely captured by this book and read it late, late into the night and didn't get up in the morning until I had reached the end – this is nothing new for me with a Melissa Foster novel, but I am warning you to make sure you have no other commitments when you start, because it is very difficult to stop reading 'just one more' page.

Reading a Melissa Foster book is like a hot fire on a cold night – comforting. This book is no exception.

Remi's stalker won't quit. She's done everything she can, she's even agreed to bodyguards supplied by her brother. She doesn't expect the head of the security agency to become her personal bodyguard, but Mason Swift is taking no chances after Remi keeps ditching her detail.

As the sparks begin to ignite between Remi and Mason, you can feel the heat flowing off the page, which to me is a sign of a great romance.

I really adored this book and I can't wait for the next book in this series.

This is my second book by this author, a contemporary romance that reminds me a lot of that movie The Bodyguard. But I must tell you that this book’s main characters have more chemistry than a science lab and it’s off the charts!

Remi Divine is a famous actress who is at the peak of her career. Her life is almost perfect: adoring fans, protective older brother but she has a stalker and she needs twenty-four-seven protection. Feeling hemmed in, she'd created problems with her previous bodyguards and when her latest one turns out to be the guy who caught her eye at a party, life suddenly becomes more interesting.

Mason Swift owns a security company and decided to take up the job of protecting the famous Remi Divine. She turns out to be more than a handful and the more he got to know her the more he becomes intrigued.

Even though there are a lot of secondary characters from previous books/series and I felt like the last one to arrive at a family party, I really enjoyed reading this book. The writing style is excellent and fast-paced, riveting with an element of suspense. Mason’s brooding but protective persona is fascinating not to mention he is a total hottie with a good sense of humour, a dirty-talker, can be intense at times but is also a kind soul. This man is perfect, holy molly!

Remi at the age of twenty-five is still unattached and is always under her brother’s protective wings. Given their family history, you can’t blame her older brother Aiden from being too alpha at most times. I love the close relationship between the two siblings even though there is a twelve-year gap between them. I get the feeling that Aiden is going to have his own book in the near future, I sure hope so.

This book was a quick read for me because I couldn’t put it down. All throughout the story, Remi’s stalker is the lingering shadow that made me worry that something bad was about to happen but as the author wrote a tight plotline, I never even guessed who the stalker was until at the very end.

The banter between Remi and Mason was entertaining, but what I love most about this couple is their end goal and the way they pursued their dream of creating the project that meant a lot to both of them. It feels great when reading a book about a couple who actually talk and not get bogged down by miscommunication, two grown-ups who tackle their issues head-on and find their happy ending without the over-the-top drama. And yes, the book cover is gorgeous, absolutely Mason to a T!

I was so excited for Remi's book and it definitely did not disappoint. Remi is an actress and has not acquired a stalker and her brother insists has a bodyguard with her at all times and Remi hates it. Mason is Remi's newest bodyguard, he sees Remi as a person not just a job. The more time Remi and Mason spend together the closer they get and the more they fight their feelings. I absolutely loved this story and as always i enjoyed all of the characters

I have read a few Melissa Foster books in the past, and enjoyed them. This Is Love, however, wasn't one of my favorites.

This is the second book in a series, and I have not read the other. I don't know if it would have made a difference. I just thought that Remi and Mason were a bit boring. The older bodyguard/young actress pairing had potential, and the story is easy to read... there just wasn't anything about it that really called out to me.

Unfortunately, this one was a bust. I received an advanced copy and voluntarily left a review.

This Is Love is the second book in the Harmony Pointe series by Melissa Foster. While this is the second book in a series, and related to previous series, it can be enjoyed as a stand alone. Although, long time Foster readers will get more out of the references and cameos to those from prior books.

Actress Remi Divine is sick of bodyguards, sick of stalkers, and sick of feeling like she is always under a microscope. But this movie star isn’t helpless by any means. She’s got a rebellious streak, and she knows how to use it. First order of business: getting rid of the overbearing bodyguards who are sticking to her like glue. Mason Swift has made protecting others his life, and when Remi ditches his two best men, he takes over and gives it everything he has. Having grown up in the foster-care system, and as a former special operative, he knows all the tricks. Nothing gets by him, especially not gorgeous, sneaky Remi. He thinks she’s a diva. She thinks he’s arrogant. But when sparks turn to flames and their walls come down, their true hearts are revealed, and their connection is unstoppable. And when tragedy strikes, Remi realizes that being protected isn’t the worst thing in the world—but losing Mason just might be.

This Is Love is a slow burn romance with misunderstanding, misassumptions, and honor slowing the couple's connection. I loved getting to know Remi and Mason as they got to know each other. The mystery and suspense elements regarding the stalker were very well done. I felt like the experiences and emotions involved were very realistically portrayed, and while at one point I was practically holding my breath waiting for the other shoe to drop I was still surprised by the details. The amount of heart and character development is amazing, but will come to no surprise to returning readers. I enjoy that every character, even secondary characters, clearly have a story. They are not fillers or placeholders to keep things moving but rather built up to be just as real as the main players. I also enjoyed seeing characters from previous series pop up in conversation and get an understanding of how their live continued even after their books ended.

This Is Love is another great story from Foster, with complex characters that stay with readers long after the book has ended. It is a must read for fans.

Holy hotness - it's been a while where I've read a book about a couple who had chemistry that was leaping right off the pages as Remi and Mason had in this book.

I was captivated from the beginning and it didn't not disappoint. The banter was funny, chemistry of the charts and the build-up to their HEA was absolutely perfect. The ONLY problem I had was that I wanted a bit of a better explanation as to why the bad guy did what he did. But other than that it was a great read.

So like all other Melissa Foster books you can't go wrong with this book. Every book she writes you fall in love with all the people in it and this book is no different. Remi and Mason are perfect for each other. They bring out the best in each other. You will laugh, cry and have big smiles on your face while fanning yourself reading this book. As always you can pick up any book by Melissa and jump right in but be warned you will want to pick up another book by her right after because these are so good.

The second book in this new series I found to far more entertaining than the first one. In this one Remi, an actress is being stalked and after she ditched her last bodyguards her brother hires just one. Mason does only this to protect people. So, protecting Remi will not be a problem. For the most part, it is not one. Everything changes with a kiss and then behind the doors they are now a couple.
A couple is good that is until her brother finds out or is told. Waiting for his business meeting to end overseas Remi decides to wait. She also wants him to start treating her like the grown woman she is and not the little girl he pulled out of the wrecked many years ago. A wonderful story with many different characters, great places, and a wonderful story. A good book,

Remi is tired of bodyguards following her everywhere she goes, treating her like a job instead of a person. Her brother has gone a little overboard with the protection he’s hired for her. So when her brother decides to listen to her for once, he hires one bodyguard, who will be plainclothed and won’t stick out like a sore thumb. Except the guy he hired is the one hottie she noticed earlier at a gala and he actually had her yearning to be closer to him instead of running the opposite direction or ditching him.

Mason has to remember that his number one job is to keep Remi safe. But the chemistry between the two of them grows deeper each hour he’s in her presence. They both know that the line shouldn’t be crossed but they just can’t help this pull between the two of them.

As always Melissa gives you characters that you fall for from page one and don’t want to let go of once you read the last page. Remi and Mason were the perfect mix of sassy, sweet and sexy!

Well now, this was fun.

This time we have Remi and Mason; she’s a superstar in real need of protection after a stalker causes her brother to FREAK OUT, lol; and Mason is said protection. ;-)

From the start we see the sparks are flying between them; but he’s doing his job and she feels she doesn’t need a bodyguard. This causes them to butt heads on more than one occasion (which was real fun to read), but surely but slowly they realize there’s more to them than mega star and bodyguard, and they have more in common than expected.

I loved Remi and her fierceness and independent spirit, also her warm heart. And Mason had such a rough life, I wanted to hug him so hard.

These two were fun to read, there was a lot of fire between them and I loved seeing them fall in love and fight for it. It was also fun to see other characters in the series, it was fun to see them interact with Remi.

All in all, a fun, sweet and lovely read. A perfect addition to this series. <3

This Is Love is book 2 in the Harmony Pointe series. Before I begin I would like to say that this is only my second book by this author who has an extensive list of other books and series which I hope to read in the future. Now although I really enjoyed book 1 in this series I didn't like this one as much. While it had an older sexy bodyguard and a sweet young actress with a stalker overall it was really cheezy and boring. I also felt when all the friends and their significant others were all together it was a mess of POV. The stalker issue was resolved super quick and felt insignificant. Now while I didn't love this one I do plan to continue the series.

Remi Devine has a stalker and she is tired of bodyguards, especially ones who usher her from door to door and don't let her breathe. Finally her brother, Aiden, listens and hires just one bodyguard and what a bodyguard he is. Mason Swift was meant to protect others and his job is now to protect Remi. First impressions have him believing she is a diva but quickly learns she is anything but and is strong and just as protective of others. The chemistry between them is instant but takes a bit to strike. Together they learn to coexist while filming wraps and the stalker becomes aggressive. Great friends of Harmony Pointe keep this moving along as well and I cannot wait to see who Piper gets taken down by. Definitely a keeper and a recommendation from me. Not necessary to read the first one in the series to keep up with this one but that book was wonderful and shouldn't be missed.

This was a pleasant read. I liked the premise and was interested to see how the story would go. Mason is hired to be a bodyguard for Remi as she is not a fan of the ones she has currently. What started out as a semi push-and-pull for Mason and Remi lead into something so much more. They seemed to bring out the best in each other. Remi was able to be herself and Mason was able to come out of his shell. They were an adorable couple. It was also sweet to see the family atmosphere with the friendships and how Remi viewed her older brother Aiden. Besides the romance there was also a mystery going on. Seeing what will happen next with the romance and the mystery enthralled me. Overall a nice read with good characters, storyline, and writing.

I am in love with This is Love. The characters are fun and easy to enjoy. Their chemistry is obvious from the start.

There is more to Remi than what meets the eye. She's used to having to put on a brave, sweet, and happy face for her fans and the media. She's not used to letting others close enough to see what scares or bothers her. Remi has been following the rules so much that her rebellious side is coming out.

Mason sounds like a perfect man. He's protective, takes charge, observant, and patient. He helps show Remi how important it is to take care of herself. He encourages her rebellious ways as long as she does it safely and with him.

If I didn't have to work, I would have read this story cover to cover in one sitting. It's very good. After everything the characters have been through past and present, they bring out the best in each other.

I received this story as an advance reader's copy. I volunteered to leave my review. All opinions are my own.

This could have easily been a poor little rich girl but it's not really. Remi has earned everything that she has gained as an actress. But she's reached the pressure of being too contained, too cut off from normal life. One of the main reasons for her giving her bodyguards the slip. Even her brother Aiden who loves her has over protected her most of the time. As her much older brother he stepped up to raise her when they lost their parents when she was twelve.
I liked that Remi was more than what you saw. This was an emotional story not only because of the current dangers but because of some of the past hurts in her life. I really did like that there is a phrase that helps Remi so much in tough situations. "Just Breathe" is the phrase that holds a lot of meaning for her and we get to see that as well.
Mason was a really good , honorable man who was top notch when it came to security issues. Remi was also surprised as time went on that he "got" her, he understood some of the things she felt. He did look below her surface. And the longer he looked, the deeper he was pulled into wanting her. They had plenty of dangers around them without that. But the attraction was too intense to hold off for very long. He also brought a lot of emotional pain to the story too because his past isn't as smooth as most people might think.
I have to say that although I know that this is Book 2 in this series, I was a bit unprepared for all of the people introduced in this story. I was unfamiliar with them although I liked the Dalton family and those that supported Remi. It's just that I often lost my place with who was who, who was single, who was married, who the babies went with which couple. You get the idea, right?
Still, the stalker is found as we knew they would be even if we didn't know exactly how that was going to happen. Watch for the dangerous surprise twist. This leads into a H.E.A. adding more tender moments to the story.

Not my favourite!

This is the second book in the Harmony Pointe series by Melissa Foster. I generally enjoy all books written by Ms. Foster, but I have to say, this one did not meet my very high expectations. It’s not that the book is bad in any way, but I felt it was perhaps too quickly pulled together. I felt some aspects of the story could have been developed further, while other parts were almost boiler plate and perhaps a bit too immature for my taste.

This is a good story, but not my favourite. All that said, I look forward to Piper’s story.

Remi Devine has a stalker. Her brother, Aiden, has hired bodyguards to keep her safe, which she is not happy about. Mason Swift is the owner of the security company and takes on Remi' s security on his own. They become good friends and more.

I enjoyed this story, but it took me a bit to really get into it. Melissa Foster is one of my favorite authors, so I pushed through the beginning and it was worth it. A wonderful story filled with some of our favorite characters. Can be read as a standalone.

I was worried that Remi was going to start off as an unlikable character, but I'm happy to say she didn't. I loved her from the beginning because she was so sweet and kind. She had a stubborn streak and didn't know how protective her brother was, but it was all out of love. Mason and Remi fit from the beginning and his way of allowing her to spread her wings while still making her safe made me smile. Mason was exactly what she needed and he didn't realize it, but he needed her too. I absolutely adored this story and can't wait for more.

I love the Dalton family and their extended family so much! This author nails it every single time when she writes these small town, close family, lots of love series. If you like your male heroes sexy and sweet and the women who love them strong and brave, then look no further than Melissa's books. This is Remi and Mason's journey and what a journey it is -- lots of slow burn chemistry with a little mystery and intrigue added in. I loved revisiting all the Dalton clan! Another winner from this author -- can't wait to read Piper's story because I have a feeling it's going to be an incredible one! I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC for NetGalley.

This exciting and suspenseful romance is a bit different from Melissa Foster’s usual happily-ever-after love stories, but it is so good! Actress Remi Divine is at her wit’s end with the bodyguards hired by her brother due to a stalker situation. Mason Swift steps in as Remi’s bodyguard when she keeps slipping away from his two best men assigned to the job. Although it is insta-lust for each of them, things start off a bit bumpy as Remi tries to get used to Mason’s rules and Mason must adjust to being so attracted to one of his clients. Things quickly heat up between them, but it’s so much more than that. Feelings keep getting stronger, but Mason still must deal with whoever is threatening Remi and keep her safe.

I loved this book and I’m embarrassed to admit the obscene number of tears I shed during the last 10% or so, so we won’t talk about that. But – and I hate to say this because I love Melissa Foster more than my beloved red wine – a good amount of this novel reminded me of The Bodyguard. Don’t get me wrong, it was a great movie and this book was so much better – but it all felt a little Whitney and Kevinish to me for a while.

However, as the novel progressed, I realized This is Love far surpasses The Bodyguard and in no time at all, I had completely forgotten about Whitney and Kevin (Rachel and Frank, whatever).

This novel is about absolute, no-holds-barred soulmates. People that were just waiting to find one another, yet never knew what exactly they were missing. The passion, connection, love, and chemistry between Remi and Mason is completely off the charts. They instantly feel like a couple when they’ve only just met, and I assure you that your heart will go wild as you read their story.

As always with Melissa Foster’s novels, I highly recommend This is Love. It’s a different type of story than what you are used to with Foster, but it will give you all the feels, leave you feeling all warm and fuzzy, and quite truthfully – make you think about the things that really matter in your life, such as love, friendship, and giving back.
