Kaci Feldstein is hosting a yarn retreat for a group of knitters who want to learn how to crochet. When a member of another group attending a mindfulness retreat dies, Casey isn’t so sure it was an accident. As the weekend progresses Casey finds that the two groups actually know each other, making for lots of suspects. now it’s a race against the clock to find the ordered before Casey and her suspicions are silenced forever. A new to me series from an author I have read before. Great setting and well developed characters. A recipe and a yarn project are included at the end. I will definitely be back for more. |

This book has it all! Well fleshed out characters, each with their own personality that makes them unique. A story line with enough twists and turns it will keep you turning the pages. And a surprise ending that I never saw coming. A good book that's not to be missed. |
An engaging cozy mystery. A clever page turner. Kept me guessing until the end. Two diverse groups of retreat participants provide suspects and antics. A smidgeon of romance. A pleasant and enjoyable series. I am glad I discovered this book listed under crafts and hobbies books to request instead of where I would have thought it would be in mysteries. |
Changes are afoot! The cat’s out of the bag and the dog is in the guesthouse. It’s a yarn retreat where everyone knows each other and they’re all hiding something. This cozy was a super fun and easy read and promises interesting developments to come. I received a copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. I was not paid for this review. |
Time has rolled around for another knitting/crocheting retreat. Kevin the cranky inn manager is still cranky. Cora and Madeline are still dealing with new and surprising information that has come to light about the family. This retreat has a group of ladies celebrating the 40th birthday of one of them. Another group next to them the Reborn group is in a meditating group. Casey is on the case, much to the chagrin of Dane her boyfriend and the detective on the case. Fun cozy mystery, keeps you guessing. |
This series is quickly becoming one of my favorites. Casey is a great character and with each book I read, I come to like her more and more. I love the whole idea of a yarn retreat, and I would love to be unplugged and attend one of her fabulous retreats. In Knot on your Life, there are two separate retreats taking place. One is with Casey and the other is with the manager of Vista Del Mar. Unfortunately, the manager doesn't understand retreats and the group look to Casey for some added activities. Casey isn't only working the retreats, she's also giving lodging to an unwelcome dog, baking for her own business, and of course, asking questions when a retreat member winds up dead. This story is fast paced and will keep the reader on the edge of their seat. Don't miss out on this excellent addition to the cozy mystery genre. |

Not on Your Life is a intriguing story dealing with an over bearing male. Lots of diverse characters that all seem to have secrets. You'll love trying to untangle the clues to solve this mystery. |
