This is book 2 in the Corisi Billionaire series. In which our hero and heroine meet in Paris where they decide to have a vacation fling and leave at that. Until feelings get involved....

For me this was a solid 3 stars. It gave a good escape but past that I didn’t take much away from the story.

Wren is a straight laced woman who is visiting Paris as she decided to go a little different route than her normal calm life and have a little fun. She decides to have a fling with Maurice. Maurice is all about no relationship, no strings but when wren decides to leave he finds he doesn’t want her to go. She was innocent he thought she may get to attached and he’d end up breaking her heart.
I enjoyed this book a lot. I was happy to see there was a connection with feelings before Maurice and Wren slept together. I loved the plot and pace. I really liked Wren and Maurice together and how they interacted. I liked that Wren didn’t allow Maurice to give her any b s. The end did feel a little rushed to me. I really liked Maurice went around Paris with Wren while she did the touristy stuff. Wren and Maurice had hot chemistry. I liked the characters and the ins and outs of this book and I recommend it

It was pretty entertaining but there were some confusing chapters where it was from the point of view of a character that had no interaction with them until the very end which could have been completely cut out, in my opinion.
It was fun but it didn't make me curious to read the rest of the series.

I received a free copy of this book from the author.

If you're a fan of contemporary billionaire romances this book is for you! Wren and Mauricio meet in Paris by accident. He agrees to meet her for some touristy adventures and then you could say the rest is history.

Except it isn't. These two start out with assumptions about each other that turn around to bite them in their butts. You know, sometimes your friends mean well but they don't always have the most accurate information. That certainly doesn't help either Wren or Mauricio in their story.

Of course I could rant all day about communication and how it's key to every type of relationship. These two fail to really communicate with each other and it is damaging to what they find themselves building.

One of my favorite parts of the book is their tour through Paris. It's one of my favorite cities and I can just envision their path around the city. Do you ever find yourself doing that with books you read?

Anyway, I hope you like this story. It's an easy story to get wrapped in and pulling for your favorite couple to pull through as you know only they can.

Wren is in Paris to have a fun and free time away from all responsibilities. She meets Mauricio and they have the fun she has always dreamed about. The only problem is that she wants it all and he is just looking for a good time. Can he convince her that he wants more.
The only issue I had was that Dominic was introduced in the beginning and the end. He is not a part of the storyline. Don't introduce only to prolong his involvement.

Did this book blow my mind? No. Was it enjoyable? Definitely. I wouldn't necessarily recommend this book unless you want to read a brainless smutty romance book.

Writing style: Simple, to the point, with just enough flair to be enjoyable. It took me no time at all to read this book, mostly because of the easy writing.

Characters: I'm not really attached to anyone, but I can see the author took a lot of time to put some real personalities into her characters unlike a lot on other romance novels. Everyone had multiple layers and wishes and I really liked the realness of them. I loved seeing Paris through Wren's engineering eyes. The banter was the greatest part of the book.

Story: It was fun, but it definitely had its boring and dragging parts. I can deal with it though because in the end I can see that those parts were needed to show character growth.

All in all the book was quite alright, I did consider DNFing it, but the writing was good enough to power through. It was a good, brainless, romance novel which I'll give three stars.

Mauricio always stood out to me in the previous books so I was glad to finally get his story. Meeting Wren turned his life around and made it clear that he was not fling material when it came to this one woman. I liked Wren's attitude when it came to life and enjoyed the humor when it came to her bestie Cecile. I laughed uncontrollably after finding out the nature of Felix's accident which caused Mauricio to embark upon Cecile to get her out of Felix's home. With a little parental intervention, Mauricio and Wren eventually found their footing and have the ending that they both deserved. I'm looking forward to experiencing more in the future from the Romano's.

I received an ARC from netgallery and and voluntarily reviewing this book

The Wild One by Ruth Cardello is book Two in the Corisi Billionaires Series. This is the story of Mauricio Romano and Wren Heath. I have read the previous book which added to my enjoyment of this one but I did feel you could probably make this a standalone book if you wish to do so. Wren has taken some time to meet her friend Cecile in Paris which will allow her a vacation. Cecile has warned her that Mauricio is a good time guy that loves them and leaves them so she should avoid getting her hopes on him. But Wren finds that she would love just to do a total break from her good girl lifestyle and have some hot encounters with Mauricio in the few days she will be in Paris. Mauricio knows that Wren is totally different from the women he gives his time to and hopes that she doesn't form an attachment to him. But then he starts to form his own attachment to something and someone he never thought he would every really do. Enjoyed their story.

To be fair it started a little bit slow for me, but after the first 3 chapters, it started picking up. The story was interesting, very funny in some places, great writing(will definitely check other books by this author). We get the whole story from a dual point of view(Mauricio and Wren), I usually don't like that but in this book, it worked amazingly. This was an instant-love story(more like instant lust to love ), so if you don't like those better skip this one. The only thing I was confused about was the first and last chapter, we get the main hero from the first book in this series and his "point of view" and I was confused why is it there? Like it didn't add to the story, and because I haven't read the first book in this series I was lost...So I advise you to read it before you read this one. Overall a great book, would recommend!
The story– 4 /5

Setting of the book– 3,5/5( we are in Paris for the most part)

Main Hero– 4 /5

Smexy Times?– Yes

Overall – 4 /5 stars

I had a hard time connecting with the characters in this book. The chemistry was fun and sexy but both Mauricio and Wren were hard characters to love for me. And if I hadn't read the first book, I would've been totally lost on the Dominic parts, which I still don't understand or see their importance to the story. I'm most likely going to stop reading this series now.

Another Winner...

I read a lot and it's rare to find a writer who keeps your attention with a series,
Ms. Cardello does that and more. With each series she keeps you craving more!

This time she took us on a trip to Paris where we meet Wren Heath and Mauricio Romano. Talk about a HOT romance (get those ice cubes ready) This is one favor Mauricio will not regret doing!

Throw in a mystery involving Dominic Corisi and his family and you have another book you can't put down!

I’d be confused if I hadn’t read the other series by this author as to who Dominic Corisi is.
Cute. Sexy. Funny.
Mauricio and Wren meet in Paris, France. A planned meeting changes characters. A carefree, no strings attached tour, searches the mind and heart.
Don't judge a book by its cover, there is so much more on the inside.

Mauricio goes to Paris to do some business with Felix but when Felix has an accident he ask Mauricio to go to his apartment to give a message to Cecile who is staying there but when he gets to the apartment he meets Wren who is beyond beautiful so he gives her his number to call him so that they can get to know each other. When has gone to Paris to spend some time with her best friend Cecile but when she meets Mauricio she is speechless and can't decide if she wants to spend time with him as he is a player and Wren is a commitment type of person. Omg another amazing book by Ruth . I have read all of her book and they are addictive, Ruth is an amazing author and talented writer and I definitely recommend you read this book and others by her and you will definitely not be disappointed.

Another great story in this series!

Mauricio is the exact opposite of everything Wren looks for in a relationship, but whilst in Paris she decides to be wild and throw caution to the wind, and they decide to have a one week fling. What happens in Paris, stays in Paris, they say. But would that suffice?

Mauricio had a fab sense of humour and I just adored his family - interfering, nosey, and completely and utterly adorable. And Wren is an genius engineer and history nerd, in which I learn a lot from reading her describing Paris history. These two had sizzling chemistry. We get a bit from all sides with how dedicated Wren is to her own and get to see more of Mauricio's family and how they adapt and embrace Wren. This was so family-oriented, and I loved that!

I love Dominic Corisi and the drama he brings to every story. I am excited to see where things lead with his family secrets.

The Wild One will have you booking a flight to Paris! This is the second book in the Corisi Billionaires series, and I love how it's a story about the two main characters, but there's still that underlying mystery that's been continuing from the first book...so if you haven't read The Broken One, you'll definitely should before diving into this one. I adore stories involving self-proclaimed bachelors, who are adamant they'll never change their ways. The best part of the story is by far the Romano family. Their family dynamic are what goals are made of, not to mention how they love to meddle. This was a wonderful addition to the series, and I'm looking forward to more. Hopefully with more answers about the bigger picture that we keep getting glimpses of in each book!

The Wild One is the second book in the Corisi Billionaire by Ruth Cardello. I love this Series. I truly loved this book!

This story is Mauricio story. Mauricio is the support of brother who would do anything for his family. When Sebastian is ready to take back the reins of the company Mauricio must find his next place to be. Bring in Wren. She is struggling with what you she want for herself in life but still need to be there for her family.

Mauricio and Wren time in Paris fun, loving, and so much. I love both Mauricio and Wren and how they play off each other. There spark. Everyone needs a little "Paris" in their life. This book was a great story of find oneself while finding the one.

This book is a must read. Five stars. I love Ruth Cardello and her books!!!

This book was about a billionaire that met a lady in Paris. She wanted to be wild in Paris because she has always been uptight and he was the one to show her or help her find her Wild Side. While spending time together they fall in love with each other and overcame some obstacles along the way before they starting a relationship.

This book was an instalove that was really believable. It wasn't the type to be immediately in love and end up together but actually working through the problem of them not really knowing each other. They grew more in love by spending more time with each other and I really loved that aspect. They way he encouraged and supported her was really cute.

The way Ruth used her words was captivating. Making the feeling of the book realistic. The steamy parts where they wasn't even having sex was really hot and fascinating.

The mystery from book 1 continued and its still a mystery so many questions running through my head trying to figure out what happened.
I hope the answers would be present in the 3rd book.

This was an arc from netgalley. Everything I said was my honest opinion.

They were destined to meet in Paris. One week to go WILD and enjoy a fling and then, they would just go their separate ways. Could this work?

Wren and Mauricio appear to be opposites at first glance. With his reputation as a player, Wren would be crazy to trust anything he said to her in the heat of passion. But could he talk dirty! A girl could just dream a little with him.

Passionate and emotional, I loved this book!

I am voluntarily reviewing this book. Thanks to the author for sharing a copy with me.

This is the second installment in this series and loving it! Mauricio is in Paris for business but since that isn't going to happen since his friend is not able to meet he is sent to rouse the women from his apartment and this is where he meets Wren who is visiting from the U.S. There is instant attraction and chemistry and these two are so cute and adorable together. Playing tourist together around Paris and Mauricio teaching Wren how to be a little wild until Wren gets a call on the morning she is scheduled to leave and ends up leaving without waking him. Misunderstanding and no last names exchanged and, oh yeah, wait until the parents get involved. So, so good! Now I am excited to see where this series leads...
