I might never look at a sex toy the same after reading, The Wild One. I liked the lightness of this story. A little drama, but all good stories need at least a little.

Loved reading the awesome and amazing romance story. When Wren goes to Paris to meet her friend, Cecile, she didn't expect to meet a charismatic, handsome man, Mauricio. Cecile warns Wren that Mauricio is a player and to stay away from him, but Wren decides to let her heart be broken and spends an unforgettable week with him. Read the highly recommended, wonderfully written, engaging storyline, and captivating storyline, and a must read love story.

The Wild One is Mauricio and Wren’s story, yet also a continuation of the Corisi Billionaires series. This novel finds Mauricio in Paris as he tries himself at a crossroads. Despite his history as a playboy, for the first time, he finds himself longing for the love of a woman and a family that his older brother has recently found.

Wren is in Paris to meet a friend, taking a rare vacation and and even more rare break for her parents. She had a wonderful childhood and feels that she owes her parents the kind of love and support with which they provided her. However, it has prevented her from finding a fulfilling job and a long-term relationship.

Mauricio and Wren meet through friends. Mauricio is instant attracted to Wren, as she is to him; however, she is not interested in a one-night stand and her friend assures here that Mauricio is a confirmed playboy. Despite that fact, Wren agrees to spend a day with Mauricio, and their attraction is beyond anything that either has ever felt before. Can a playboy convince a very skeptical woman that he can be reformed?

I love Paris, and I loved the way Mauricio and Wren explored the city and fell in love with it as well as with each other. Never mind their initial "dinner, but not dinner" meeting! I think the Romano's are an awesome family and as with book one, the side characters are just as interesting as the main characters. Can't wait for more in the series and for Dominic to come into play!

Wren doesn't beat around the bush, “and just to get this out there, if anything does happen between us— you are absolutely wearing a condom.” Im pretty sure Mauricio is nervous around his woman at times, “that’s a very specific threat”— he pulled at the neck of his shirt—“and a man’s package is nothing to joke about breaking.” I liked this book, I liked Mauricio.

So straight lace Wren Heath is visiting Paris and decides to live it up, have a little fun, go completely opposite of her tame calm life. Who better for a walk on the wild side that a sexy playboy billionaire, Mauricio Romano. Oh how I love the Romano men!!!

Mauricio is all about showing the ladies a good time. But Wren is sweet, innocent and Mauricio fears she'll get too attached and he went be able to break free of the fling without breaking her heart. But what if his heart gets involved, then what?!!

This fun adventure in Paris was sweet and sexy and a riot! I enjoyed their interaction and enthusiasm for the sights and one another. But when Wren is called away unexpectedly things get sticky. Mauricio thinks she's just left and Wren is dealing with things where she cannot think of her own life.

I loved how the families come together, again, to help our this destined love.

Love this adventure with Dominic!!

This is book 2 in the series and it really does not stand alone. There is a bit of a Judy/Dominic mystery storyline that starts in the first book and continues here and it will be interwoven in this series throughout the books.

The main plot is about Mauricio and he is brother #2. He is the pretty boy, playboy and he is in Paris and visiting a friend when said friend sends him to his apartment to remove his current friend. His friend has a friend visitinga nd that is how M meets Wren

They are both very attracted and so they have a Parisian fling but when Wren has to leave suddenly she breaks M's heart and so his family gets involved in all the best ways. This is a really fun story with some really awesome characters and I loved the story alot.

The Wild One is a love story about romantic love and the love of friends and family. Romano brother Mauricio is in Paris trying to figure out his next business project when he meets fellow American, Wren, on a vacation, but also re-examining her career options. They agree to a fling...a fling which might scorch your e-reader! Real life intervenes and how these two characters handle those disappointments and challenges brings the story to another level that left this reader cheering. I loved the banter and teasing between Wren and Mauricio. Ms. Cardello never disappoints when putting words into her characters’ mouths! It would be remiss if I didn’t mention Judy Corisi and her family tree project that was introduced in The Broken One. Unbeknownst to Judy, her father Dominic does some research on his own which will leave readers hoping the author writes the next installment quickly. I don’t mean to imply that this can’t be read as a stand-alone, but with each installment new clues are dropped that eventually will have to bring the Romano and Corisi clans into contact. I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book. It’s well worth your time and I most highly recommend.

I'm struggling to write a review for this one. It's apparently one in a series. The prologue and the finale involved a character who never appeared in the rest of the book. So why was he there? I found this both confusing and annoying, since it clearly required you read a series and I dislike being forced into that!

What can I say about the rest of the book? Well, on the positive side, it was a pleasant enough little romance with some sexy bits thrown in and was not badly written.

However, it never really grabbed me. I thought the plot was rather pedestrian and with under-developed characters it meant that when I'd finished, I could barely remember anything I'd read. Sorry, but if I was on holiday lying under a parasol, this would probably have passed an hour or two quite easily but it was nothing particularly exciting. If you like undemanding and predictable easy reading, this is okay. Not for me, I'm afraid.

Received an ARC from Netgalley.
