Aurora has done a great job with this book. I loved it. I'm really liking this series. It can be read as a standalone even though it's the second book. I loved the characters and the whole story.

Baiting Him is one of those stories that will melt your heart and have you grinning the whole time. Gaston and Chrissie are two characters that will find their way deep under your skin, their story will have you overflowing with happiness and they will show you what true love is. A story that is passionate, endearing, heartfelt and enchanting. Their journey might at times be sweet like candy but believe me it has enough heat and passion to warm you from head to toe. It won’t be just Chrissie and Gaston falling in love, you will fall right along with them.

The thing I love most about Aurora's books are how easy they are to read. Sometimes, you need to escape from heavy and dark books, even if they are romances too, and her books are the perfect antidote. She has been a one click author to me for years, after reading her Until series, and I have loved every story she has written.

Baiting Him is the second book in the How To Catch An Alpha series, about Chrissie, Leah from book one's best friend. Chrissie meets Gus on Leah's bachelorette party and although their initial meeting doesn't go to plan, the minute these two gave into their undeniable chemistry, their relationship shoots to the next level. Although there is some family drama and a slight twist at the end, everything works out for this couple and it makes such a sweet story.

I love Aurora's alpha male heroes and Gus did not disappoint. He was protective and charming, but so hot too. He knew what he wanted and went for it, the attraction between him and Chrissie was undeniable. And I loved Le Fou too!!

Chrissie was sassy, intelligent and so beautiful. She kept her heart closely guarded thanks to being let down by multiple male figures in her life, and was fiercely independent. However, it only took the right man to push through those barriers and restore her faith and trust in men.

This is such a sweet and easy read and I can't wait for book 3!

First of all, Gaston is the perfect man! He's gorgeous, caring, understanding and can cook. He is totally swoon worthy. Chrissie doesn't have time for men. She owns a bakery and is always working. After catching Gaston's attention at his club, Twilight, he can't get the woman who is sassy and made him laugh off his mind. Chrissie finally gives him a chance and things move pretty quickly. It was easy to fall in love with them as they fell in love with each other.

A low drama, fast paced story that is full of heat and love.

I absolutely adored this latest book in the How To Catch An Alpha series!!! Chrissie doesn't have time for anything let alone a relationship. She is consumed with her bakery and what little time she has left is helping her mom through a rough patch. So when she meets Gaston she doesn't think much about it except for the fact that he is hot. Gaston is persistent and knows that she is someone special and wants to explore their connection. Their chemistry is off the charts and Chrissie knows that Gaston is someone special but can she depend on him when others have let her down.
I was hooked from the first page and hated to see it end. I swooned, cried a bit, laughed and was rooting for them throughout. Their connection was instanteous and the heart knows what the heart wants and Gaston knew that Chrissie was it for him. I loved this book so much and I highly recommend it to all. I can't wait to read what this talented author comes out with next. Well done!!!

Just a perfectly lovely romance! Loved the chemistry between these two. This is the second book in the series but can be read as a stand alone.

Chrissie was sweet and such a good person. Gaston stole the show for me though. Super thoughtful, romantic, a bit alpha and a whole lot of s3xy! Chrissie tried to feel not worthy of his attentions. He was not about to let her feel that way. Gaston set about to win her over no matter what.

There is a little bit of tension from Gaston's work. Honestly, it barely registered for me. The focus of the story was two people getting to trust and know one another.

Sweet story by this author and worth the read!

Another cute read by Aurora Rose Reynolds!! I definitely enjoyed this one way more than the first book. the characters were great and the romance was so cute! overall a solid romance contemporary!

AAR never lets me down!
I fly through her books in hours. They are quick reads, but have everything I'm looking for to entertain my mind for a few hours.

I always find myself letting myself read another chapter and another. I always finish one of hers and immediately go into reread an old one because I can't get enough.
Gaston, (Beauty and the Beast) aka Gus is a man after Cassie. Only Cassie is not looking. However, Gus pursues until she can't say no. Cassie is a sweet baker, but has been burned more than once and has build up walls for charming sweet men like Gus.
Add a sweet little dog and this book is adorable.

This one was just plain fun with lots of sexy times added in to keep it moving along. It starts off with Chrissie celebrating at Leah's bachelorette party where she meets the club owner Gaston. He is yummy, too yummy for his own good and she tells him to leave her alone which he does not do and sends her flowers with his number. No, she does not call which really does not go over well but thankfully he is persistent and when they do finally get together find out they live in the same building. Convenient! These two do not do anything in a normal pace and it is full steam ahead which is the only pace Gaston works which is great because they are perfect together. Family drama and work drama all go together until they get everything settled and happily ever after is on the horizon. I definitely love this series and cannot wait to see what is next up!

Baiting Him is the second book in the How to Catch an Alpha series. I loved this one! I liked Chrissie in the first book but this book definitely brought me into love territory. I also adored the hero, Gaston. He was amazing. I finished this book in a day and could not put it down. I can't wait to read more from Aurora Rose Reynolds!

I believe this is my first Aurora Rose Reynolds' book to read, despite my friend loving her and recommending her to me a while back. But I loved this book. It is such a feel good, full of hope, the most swoonworthy male character, and a great female lead who wears her heart on her sleeve. There were so many cute scenes, especially with the girls Chrissie had working with her in their excitement over Gaston. And any scene Gaston and Chrissie shared either puts a smile on your face, a need for a fan, or a tear in your heart. Gaston is just a perfect man who went for what he wanted and never wavered from getting Chrissie. Goodnight the man is intoxicating. Chrissie gave as good as she got. I loved all the family interactions, even if they were heartbreaking at times. Such a beautifully written book that makes me want to read more of Mrs. Reynolds' stories.

Another great book!!! Aurora Rose Reynolds is one of my go to authors. She writes great love stories and this one definitely delivers!! I love that there was no unnecessary drama! I would highly recommend this book!

This is such a sweet, funny and a great insta-love romance read!!!
Chrissie has started a new bakery in town trying to start anew but things start happening from her past. Gaston/Gus owns bars in the area and he ends up meeting Chrissie in his bar. His eye catches on her and never lets up. Their chemistry is sizzling. I loved the feels, the plot, the humor, and the sweet moments. I enjoyed reading this story alot. I loved the insta-love story tons. There are just a few things that I wish would have been explained/resolved but overall, phenomenal read. I can't wait for book 3 in this series.

My heart went pitter patter when Gaston walked into the bakery just like the girls that work there. Lol!

Chrissie is shellshocked at Gaston approaching her and doesn’t quite know what to do. That’s ok. Gaston knows exactly what he wants and that is Chrissie.

I love the cast of characters we meet and felt so bad for Chrissie’s mom.

You will devour this book and be left wanting more!

He’s intrigued, and wants the chance to get to know her better. From the moment they met, there’s just something different about her, and he won’t give up. He loves her laugh, and how she smells like cupcakes. She’s absolutely stunning, and he wants her to be his. He is up for the challenge, and prepared to convince her he’s worth her time.
