Love this book, so many twists and turns and the mystery kept me hooked from the very first page.
My thanks to Net galley, the publisher and the author for allowing me to read an advance copy in exchange for an honest review.

I did not read reviews, I basically went into this one cold and I am glad I did. Once I started this book, I did not stop until I finished it. I loved the character of Shay Miller and her fascination with data. Her books where she wrote information were one of the things that got her into the situation she found herself in. The twists in this story were fast and furious, but had me hooked. It was easy to see how Shay, the shy, quiet woman who did not have family, friends or a support network could get sucked in by the beautiful and flamboyant Moore sisters. The network they had and how they used it was remarkable, money talks. The story is told from multiple POVs, but most is from Shay. It takes awhile for her to realize all is not as it seems, but is it too late? This is an intriguing and twisted tale that reminds us to be careful what we wish for. I definitely recommend this one to those who enjoy a twisty thriller.

I really enjoyed this one, I much preferred it to An Anonymous Girl and loved the twisty suspense throughout. I also loved the statistics used at the beginnings of the chapters!

A well plotted drama which - although it starts pretty dramatically - never ceases in its tempo and by the end you feel pretty wrung out (like the main character). I read this in practically one sitting and enjoyed it very much.

It took me some time to finish this book. I found to much descriptive narrative in the the storyline. The plot came clear towards the end of the book and the actual ending was good. I am sure that the majority of readers will enjoy this read, i just like a quicker pace to a story.

A great follow up from the authors of the Wife Between Us. The plot immediately hooks the reader, and the story flows well. You are kept guessing to the very end.

This to me isn't their best work, I've really loved the first two books by the authors, this just didn't stand out to me at all. I will continue to read what they publish though.

When data analyst Shay witnesses an apparent tragic accident on the subway, she finds herself traumatised. However, little does she know how it will begin to affect her ... I have read the first two books by these authors, and they seem to get better every time - this is absolutely my favourite by them so far, by a long way. I loved how elegantly the characters were described, how quickly the thriller picked up pace towards the end and also the fact it was set in NYC, which is absolutely one of my favourite settings for a story!

Unfortunately I did not enjoy this book. I did not like the writing style at all. I didn't warm to the characters either.

The first part of the book I’m left very underwhelmed. I was bored. This was not thrilling nor did it feel psychological. The characters I felt like I was muddling them up. As they had aliases it made it harder at times. But I also didn’t care about them at all.

By the end of part one I had no idea where this was going. No idea why the sisters were acting the way they were. But I also barely cared to find out. I just hoped something would happen in part two.

Which sure enough something started to happen. Still nothing overly exciting but enough for me to see where things were going. But my theory still was underwhelming and disappointing if it went that way.

Which it did. The reveals in part three were so weak. One was obvious. The other sure I was surprised but it still made me feel disappointed. The whole reason they went after Shay was pathetic. I wish I could say what option would have been more logical but then it makes the whole book pointless and also would be a spoiler if I said it.

found this book a compelling read for the first three quarters of the book- however the denouement seemed ridiculous to me and I found it quite hard to stick with it and finish. Many thanks to Netgalley for an arc of this book.

I always get excited when I see a new book written by these two ladies, I've enjoyed every one they have written but I think this one is the best yet!
The story starts when Shay witnesses a suicide, a young stranger throws herself Infront of a train. Shay then becomes friends with the strangers closest friends the beautifully chic Moore sisters but things soon take a sinister twist. A fast paced gritty thriller!

You Are Not Alone was a brilliantly complex psychological thriller that kept me enthralled from start to finish. After Shay witnesses a woman (Amanda) jumping from a subway platform, little does she know that her life is about to change in ways she could never begin to imagine. Simply by being in the wrong place at the wrong time. She feels compelled to go to the woman's memorial where she meets Amanda's friends. They welcome her warmly but all is not as it seems. Cassandra and Jane are sisters who along with four other women, have made it their mission to exact revenge on those who do wrong. But why did Amanda jump? What made her feel like she had no reason to live? As the plot thickens, twists and turns, Shay realises she is being set up and a desperate bid to find out who the women really are leads to a dramatic ending. A really interesting take on this genre that stands out from the crowd.

This book was devoured in two afternoons in the sun. It was so addictive and gripping, and had me gasping throughout. I absolutely love Greer and Sarah's style, they were born to write together. So so good!

You are not alone by Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen.
You probably know someone like Shay Miller.
She wants to find love, but it eludes her.
She wants to be fulfilled, but her job is a dead end.
She wants to belong, but her life is so isolated.
You probably don’t know anyone like the Moore sisters.
They have an unbreakable circle of friends.
They live the most glamorous life.
They always get what they desire.
Shay thinks she wants their life.
But what they really want is hers.
A good read with some good characters. 4*.

Best book I have read in ages!

This was an unputdownable book and I loved it - great plot, believable characters, I did not want it to end. Brilliant writing and would thoroughly recommend this, a great way to spend the time whilst in lock down - I cannot wait to read another book by these authors.

I have been a fan of Greer and Sarah's writing, after reading their first two books - THE WIFE BETWEEN US and AN ANONYMOUS GIRL. They have delivered yet another twisty thriller with YOU ARE NOT ALONE. Shay Miller is an introverted young woman who is in between jobs and is working as a temp. She has a secret crush on her flatmate Sean and is heavily disappointed when he gets into a relationship with another girl, Jody. Shay's life takes a turn for the worse when she watches a young woman plunge into her death from a subway platform.

Then she meets the Moore sisters - Cassandra and Jane, who are agents to celebrities. They are everything Shay isn't. They have a very loyal circle of friends, and Shay feels privileged when Cassandra and Jane seemingly take an interest in her. But what are their real motives? Do they sincerely want to help a young girl who is down on her luck? Or is something sinister lurking behind?

I found the book good enough to give it a 5-star rating. Having said that, I feel slightly disappointed to read what Greer and Sarah have to offer this time around. THE WIFE BETWEEN US was an amazing story and I probably expected them to deliver something similar. Thriller readers would definitely enjoy YOU ARE NOT ALONE.

its official these two authors dont have a bad book. I have read all three and all three were a win for me. this is the first time reading this group as i did Audio for the other two and it was still very interesting. I was sooo intrigued with the Moore Sisters. While this book was slower than the other two it was still really well done. I like that each book is its only journey and there is no continuing concepts so you never get bored. This duo needs to never stop writing.. even though this is not my favorite i was sucked into the story the entire time and i cant wait for more.

This was definitely a strange book, in the way you would hope in a thriller. Enough kept me confused as to what was happening, enticing my interest, while not leaving me completely in the dark. I did however struggle at times to stay engaged with the writing style, even if the general plot was intriguing. Towards the middle of the book the strangeness as to what was going on hit a small peak, which really sped on the reading experience for the rest of the story. Some of the plot twists seemed cliche, however it was a good general thriller to keep me occupied for a day's reading.
