This book tells the stories of the many French intelligence agents of WW 11 of whom many were caught,
horrific tortured and executed by the Gestapo.

It's also touches on the story of the pilots who who risked everything in the fight for freedom

Well written and easy to follow

This is a very interesting and well researched account of British and French resistance during World War IiI and the men and women who laid their life on the line for the war effort.
I was given a free copy of the book by NetGalley from Sapere Books Ltd. The opinions in this review are completely my own.

Wonderful book I enjoy these stories. I enjoy the book more when the author does research and this author seems to have done that. I recommend this for readers who like WWII books

A bit dry. There was more about the spies than there was about the house. The spies stories were extremely interesting though and you have to be repulsed by the brutality of the Gestapo
