Due to a sudden, unexpected passing in the family a few years ago and another more recently and my subsequent (mental) health issues stemming from that, I was unable to download this book in time to review it before it was archived as I did not visit this site for several years after the bereavements. This meant I didn't read or venture onto netgalley for years as not only did it remind me of that person as they shared my passion for reading, but I also struggled to maintain interest in anything due to overwhelming depression. I was therefore unable to download this title in time and so I couldn't give a review as it wasn't successfully acquired before it was archived. The second issue that has happened with some of my other books is that I had them downloaded to one particular device and said device is now defunct, so I have no access to those books anymore, sadly.

This means I can't leave an accurate reflection of my feelings towards the book as I am unable to read it now and so I am leaving a message of explanation instead. I am now back to reading and reviewing full time as once considerable time had passed I have found that books have been helping me significantly in terms of my mindset and mental health - this was after having no interest in anything for quite a number of years after the passings. Anything requested and approved will be read and a review written and posted to Amazon (where I am a Hall of Famer & Top Reviewer), Goodreads (where I have several thousand friends and the same amount who follow my reviews) and Waterstones (or Barnes & Noble if the publisher is American based). Thank you for the opportunity and apologies for the inconvenience.

The story continues in this book with Kerry and her gang trying to get their lives together. These books are well written, and gripping until the very end. Recommended.

A fast-paced gangland thriller that is totally addictive. I was a little disappointed with the ending, which was predictable and slow. A recommended read for those who love Gangland.

Oh my this author is talented. Anna Smith knows how to get you hooked on book right from the early pages. I have read all of this authors books and enjoyed each and every one of them.

Kerry Casey is back in this book. Following on from the last book, Kerry can't seem to stay out of trouble.
This time around we have Diamonds, very expensive Diamonds and very stolen diamonds. Taken from a Heist that the Caseys were not even involved in, how do they end up wrapped up in all.

A fantastic mix of characters that you'll love or hate. Some great twists that will certainly keep you on your toes and a story line that will keep you hooked.
Brilliantly written and I'm hoping with the ending of this book, that there will be another one to follow.

I like all of Anna Smith's book but dare I say this one was a bit too similar to the last one in the series. Love the storyline though and still a good read.

Another fantastic book in this brilliant series, the story follows on from the last book to show how Kerry and her organisation are just getting their lives back on track after ripping off the Columbians. I can't rate these books enough, excellent, gritty gangland books at the very best which always end on a cliffhanger leaving you wanting more! Can't wait to find out what happens next!

TWITTERESQUE REVIEW

Gritty, edgy with a RELENTLESS pace. Despite myself I can’t help but care about all the members of this gangland family. Kerry Casey is trying to steer them in to legitimate businesses, but somehow gets deeper and deeper in to trouble. Belt up for an exciting rollercoaster of a read.

End game by Anna Smith.
Physically and emotionally battered after the shocking events of Fight Back, gang leader Kerry Casey must pick herself up and get straight back into the fray. She may be struggling to deal with huge changes in her personal life, but in Glasgow there is no time for rest: when you're at the top of the pile, someone is always waiting to knock you down.
A very enjoyable read. I liked the story and some of the characters. Kerry was my favourite character. Couldn't put it down. 5*.

I love that this series has a strong female as it's main character and although I enjoyed reading the book but I didn't find it as engaging as the other two books in the series.

Thank you to NetGalley, the publisher and author for this ARC.

This is the third book in the Kerry Casey series, and is just as good and enjoyable as the previous books. It introduces new characters who are mostly likeable and a few not so nice. I thought it had a good plot with many unexpected twists and turns. The title of the book made me think it was the last one in series, most loose ends tied up nicely, except for a final cliff hanger which gives me hope there will be a 4th book. A good read which held my attention all the way through.

Excellent thriller that kept me enthralled throughout! Wolfie (William Wolfe) and his daughter Hannah join up with Karen Casey to sell the proceeds from a raid on a bank. Would recommend this book for a first rate holiday read.

If you love a good Gangster book then this is one you need to pick up, the only downside for me was I’d guessed the ending and didn’t like one of the characters all that much.

Hannah has done her time and is now ready to be reunited with her Dad, but when he doesn’t turn up to meet her as the prison gates open, she guesses something must be wrong.

Kerry is ready to give up a life of crime after her last heist, but a call from her dad’s old mate gives her cause to re-think that. Is this an easy job, will it be the last job?

We follow the story with plots and twists and a cliffhanger of an ending!

Kerry Casey kept me turning the pages into the early hours
Highly recommended
Real page turner
Once again a brilliant read in this series

This is part of series and I might have enjoyed it better if I had read the precursors. The title suggests that this may be an attempt to round up a running storyline by tidying up some loose ends and providing escape trajectories for spare characters. This could explain why the whole thing feels a bit flabby. Set piece scenes are fairly clean but the overall plot comes across as a bit disconnected. Some of the continuity and scene setting is a bit excessive. It also ends with a cliff hanger in the shape of a missing character. This, presumably is a link towards the next book but belies the title.

Have enjoyed the whole series so far and this latest instalment was no exception, my only complaint was the ending felt a bit rushed and sudden although it is left open for the next book which I hope is not too long a wait!

I am a HUGE fan of this series and was looking forward to getting stuck into this latest instalment. This time around Kerry and her crew are recovering from their latest situation (all covered in Book 2) and we meet Hannah who is fresh out of prison. Her Father is the infamous William ‘Wolfie’ Wolfe and he needs help. He turns to the Casey’s and as usual Kerry cannot let an opportunity pass her by.

This leads to dangerous situations with a number of enemies and Kerry and her trusty gang do everything they can to not only help Wolfie but help Kerry gain leverage with the situation. If you haven’t read the previous books I really would suggest doing that as not only are they great books but they give you a real insight into everybody involved.

This latest book had plenty of action and I was glad we got to see what happened with Vic, however one main character that was noticeably absent was Vinny. Vinny is a copper that is undercover who knows where and by the end of the book I was just as keen as Kerry to find out where he is and what has happened with him. I read this in two sittings and absolutely LOVED it. A fabulous series and I cannot wait to read the next one!
