Noah is the second in the new series about the “nephews” of billionaire Joseph Anderson. Noah is an architect with a bit of a reputation as a playboy. However, from the minute that he met fellow architect, Sarah, he has been surprisingly smitten.

Sarah’s focus is on her career as an architect, and is excited to have been chosen as the co-architect for a veteran’s center being built by the wealthy Joseph Anderson. While she is attracted to the other architect working on the project, she has no intention of getting involved with him despite his apparent refusal to take no for an answer.

The plot focuses on the back and forth between Noah and Sarah as they come to know each other better. Despite the nicely written story, I never really felt the supposed chemistry between the characters. I would give this story a 3.5 due to the lack of chemistry between the main characters.

Sorry Melody but I have got to stop requesting your books, they are simply killing me with boredom. I am thinking nice guy fixing or building a vet center, he got me, but no I put him back. I didn't feel the love of Noah and Sarah yet I kept reading that they were, how dont ask me, but let me give you a little advice read something else, anything else.

I received this ARC from netgalley in exchange for a review, and tbh, that's the only reason I actually read through the whole book. The blurb was interesting talking about architects seeking inspiration for a veterans' building and being in the field I was intrigued. The book is anything but interesting or informed. Plans and drawings are mentioned, but it feels like neither the author nor the characters know what an architect really does. The characters are supposed to be likable, but I never cared what happened to them, because everything was told, not shown - lots of long thought monologues, though the characters barely spoke to each other and when they did, it was super banal. (Oh these brothers have a really great relationship?? You would never know it from the scenes, only from the "thoughts") Similarly, the protagonists supposedly have this super deep attraction to each other but you never feel it - and there is so much angst! Why? You never know. After the long drawn out supposed attraction and pursuit, the climax is 5 seconds, literally. The hero shows the ring and all is forgiven. Ugh!

Sarah Jennings is a newly-minted architect when she is hired to help design a veterans center with Noah Anderson, who is also an architect. They become lovers while they are working together on this project, and then they are in a car accident and Sarah nearly loses her life. After that, Noah decides to stay away from her because he is afraid of hurting her again. Sarah takes that as rejection and wants to resign from the veterans center project, but Joseph and Noah won't let her. They really want her to complete the project, and deep down, she really wants to complete it as well. This story is about how they finally work things out and figure out all of the design challenges inherent within the project.

Sarah spends much of the book in a wishy-washy place where Noah is concerned. Noah knows his mind, but is afraid to trust it where Sarah is concerned. As a result, this book drags in places. The pacing is uneven at times as well. A good portion of the book is spent examining the motivations of each protagonist. While this leads to a deeper understanding of the characters, there were times when this reader wanted to move them along just a little bit faster. The interactions with Joseph and Katherine Anderson and with Noah's siblings are some of the best parts of the story! These parts just come alive on the page. There is a low-level tension throughout much of the book as well, which is compelling to the reader. The good outweighs the bad, making this book worth reading. Many of the characters are memorable, making this reader wish they were real!

How can you not like Melody Anne. And with that said; you can’t go by reading Noah.

Noah is adorable. He’s sweet, caring and totally smitten with Sarah; whom mind you, leads poor Noah to almost self sacrifice because of his adoration.
Well when things don’t go right; enter Joseph Anderson. Yes; he’s back. Meddling again this time in the extended family business by trying to get Noah married and have babies.

Keep reading Noah on another Anderson family journey to find out what happens this time.
Love it- Read it

3.5 stars! I love the foundation of this series with Joseph Anderson finding his "nephews" and bringing them into the family. Joseph Anderson is just a sweetheart!

Unfortunately, I didn't connect as well with Sarah and Noah in this second book. It was a good finish, but chock full on details that made the book a hard one to stay completely interested in.

I did enjoy this story but I will say at the start that there was a little too much detail for me and it detracted from the plot and this did sadly affect my enjoyment as it did lose for me for a while and I was in two minds as to whether to continue.

I am pleased that I did persevere with the story as it did improve and I found it to be really enjoyable after the plot settled in and it became a "good read".

It is 3.5 stars from me for this one, I really enjoyed it after the plot settled down.

I feel badly for leaving this review, but this book is so convoluted in it's storyline and timeline that it was nearly impossible to read. We are immediately plunked into what seems like the ending of a relationship, punctuated by a car crash. Then we are very suddenly plunked into six months after the crash. The chapters continue at this point with no adequate flashbacks or fleshing out of the back story and the reader is left to flail around and grasp at characters that seem to exist with no grounding characteristics.

A slew of new characters are introduced casually and the reader hasn't even felt a connection to any of the main characters yet.

Yes, slowly revealing character's back stories is a normal writing device, but this book bumbles it badly and so slowly that the reader is left with nothing to ground the story.

I finally gave up reading this book.

I normally really enjoy melody’s books but this one felt like I was missing chapters. Jumped right into after the couple already had a relationship.
Very choppy did not enjoy at all.

I found this second book in the Anderson Billionaires series. I enjoyed the first one, Finn, but found this one to be slow going. It seemed repetitive and I didn't find the relationship between Sarah and Noah exciting. It didn't flow at a good pace and lacked chemistry. Overall, I would say I was disappointed in this one.

I was given a free ARC via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Noah and Sarah have a decent amount of push and pull with their emotions and intentions toward each other, and it seems like chemistry alone isn’t enough to bring them and KEEP them together. Sarah is unwilling to let her heart truly lead the way, while Noah is willing to lead with his heart, if only his stupid head would stay out of it. This series has been interesting because two brothers now have had to pursue the women they want, and they’ve both done so in original ways to avoid being too boring. I vastly preferred Noah and his methods to Finn’s, but Sarah and her reluctance to really take a chance for a decent chunk of the book somewhat annoyed me.

This was a pleasant story, but maybe I’m getting weary of Joseph Anderson interfering in everyone’s lives. Of course, that doesn’t mean that I won’t be interested to see what happens with Brandon and his uncle-created match, but sometimes these stories feel a tad formulaic. They’re definitely good for a fluffy read when I need to clear my head though.

Noah is a former Navy man and is now an architect and also the long lost relative of the famous Joseph Anderson. Sarah has just graduated from architect school and is hired to help build a Veteran facility with Noah. Noah likes his bachelor life until he meets Sarah. He wants more than a fling with her but can she let her walls down and let Noah in?
Now I’ll be honest, I wanted to slap the crap out of Sarah. She would pull Noah in with one hand and push him away with the other. Then when he finally has Sarah where he wants her, he pulls back and breaks up with her. I really don’t know what to say, I enjoyed the story and there are sexy scenes.
