This author is the queen of small town romances and with the second book in the Meet Me in Montana Series we are once again are taken back Hamilton, Montana where we meet Kaylee and Ty. This is a couple with a lot of baggage, they both have hurdles to cross before they will ever find love and true happiness and this where I have to say Ms Elliott certainly knows how to give us emotional love stories that draw us in and captivate us from the first chapter to the last line. Kaylee has followed her best friend to Hamilton looking for a fresh start in life after losing her fiancé two years ago she now needs to stop grieving and start anew but is she really ready....... Ty was badly injured in a car accident and it’s only through grit and determination that he is walking again but what he is not ready for is the feelings the new gal in town has him feeling..... Two broken souls come together to make each other strong, to give each other a new start and to find love and peace. A beautifully written romance that has all the feels, I smiled, I sighed, I cried as I read this book that’s full of hope , passion and family loyalty. I also love how this author makes me feel like I belong in her small towns just by her painting pictures with her words. I received a copy of this book through the publisher from Netgalley |
Kaylee came to Montana with her friend and loved it so much she decided to stay. She needed to get away from the memories that broke her heart two years ago. When she met Ty and his brother, she called dibs on Ty. After a kiss he put her in the friend zone. That didn't stop her feelings for him though. She couldn't stop her feelings and she tried. Ty lost his dream through no fault of his own and was lost what to do with his life. When he met Kaylee he called dibs on her too but never followed through. There was something about her though that called to him and he didn't like it. These two, *sigh* they will pull at your heart strings, you'll feel what they feel...the emotions, the hurt, their love. Will jealousy push them apart before they even have a real chance to make it work? I absolutely loved this book! A great addition to the series and can't wait for the next one! |
I was so happy when I discovered a second book in the meet Montana series. It’s a beautiful love story following a terrible tragedy. Ty and kaylee story did not disappoint. |

Second book in this wonderful series and just as sweet and heartbreaking as the first This is a story of two damaged people both trying to protect their hearts who eventually realise that their salvation is in one another Kaylee has headed to Hamilton, Montana hoping for a new start two years earlier she lost her fiancee and she is hoping this will be the new start she needs to start living again In Hamilton she meets Ty Shaw a world champion bull rider who was involved in a car accident and was told he would never walk again. He is to stubborn to accept that and after more rehab than anyone should have to go through he is walking again but he will never ride. The attraction between them is instant when they meet but Ty knows that anything good in his life is always taken from him so he isn't sure he wants to risk his heart. Can these two damaged souls let their walls down long enough to connect and realise that what they have is real and perfect. |
I’ve been so curious about Ty and Kaylee since book one and let’s just say I didn’t expect to get so emotional of their story. This was EVERYTHING and so much more! I DEVOURED this book. It sucked me in from the start. Ty and Kaylee both have some baggage in their past. Kaylee’s is the loss of her fiancé and Ty was the aftermath of a career ending injury. They had an instant connection and so much chemistry, however, neither one of them seemed to be able to admit the truth to the other. I felt for both of these characters. Their pain, their struggles, every single emotion. Ty does come across as a playboy at the beginning, but that was who he was, it was his reputation. Kaylee is independent. She wants to prove to herself and to everyone else that she can do everything on her own. She was stubborn at times when it came to asking for help. Of course, there is plenty of Brock, Shaw, Blayze and the rest of the Shaw family that we’ve grown to love over the course of this series. I can’t wait to see what is in store next for this crew. Always Enough is beautiful, emotional and captivating. It deals with some tough subjects and I love that they aren’t just kind brushed over and sugarcoated. It was real. It added so much to the emotions of the story itself and allows you to connect to these characters on a deeper level. This is a MUST READ book! |

Ty and Kaylee- what a beautiful story of 2 broken people. I love how Kelly Elliott tells this story. I love both of their strength when they don’t realize they have it! Ty is broken from a loss of his career and drug abuse. Kaylee has her own grief and is making a new life for herself. I love the family connection of Ty’s family. I love Lincoln and Kaylee’s friendship. This is such a great book that reminds us that we don’t have to do life alone. |
Always Enough is a river of emotion that threatens to pull you away in the tide. Ty and Kaylee are acquaintances that are united by heart and sheltered by fear. Elliott does her best work when she holds nothing back. Waves of pain breathe new life into a couple of bruised hearts. Despite a past that haunts them and an attraction that scares them, there exists one thing that can rescue them. LOVE! Fearless yet fragile, is the risk worth the heartache in the end? A beautiful glimpse into our hearts that we tend to forget. |
4 Stars! Kaylee follows her friend, Lincoln and moves to Montana and she falls for Lincoln’s boyfriend’s brother, Ty. Ty notices Kaylee but doesn’t want anything to do with her because he’s too busy trying to get his life together after a car accident and subsequent drug problem. But one night after they give into the chemistry that flies between them, Ty thinks he’s not good enough for her and ignores her. I loved the characters and the realistic banter between all of them ... especially the brothers. I also loved how Kaylee tried to be so independent ... but usually just created chaos. I could just feel Kaylee and Ty’s chemistry burning right through the pages. And the steamy scenes were ... VERY steamy! Even though the ending was great ... I just found it dragged on a bit. But, all in all, a great addition to the series! I received an early copy courtesy of Montlake Romance through NetGalley in exchange for a honest review. |
I think this might be my favorite Kelly Elliott book to date! Gahh...this story was one that I couldn’t put down. I stayed up way too late reading. It’s that good! Ty Shaw’s world changed after an accident took away his career. And then he got addicted to his meds and he slowly spiraled. But he knew he needed help and got the help he needed. Though it changed his whole way of thinking. He never though he was good enough. That was until the spitfire Kaylee wound up on his parents property. We watch as these two fight feelings. We watch as the spark these two have ignite. And what a beautiful emotional story we get. Kelly Elliott is a master storyteller and one of my favorite authors ever. I’m so in love with this new series and y’all will be to! Highly recommended. *I was given a free advanced copy of this book by NetGalley in exchange for my honest and voluntary review. All thoughts and opinions are those of my own.* |
Love me some Montana Cowboys!!! I couldn’t wait for Kaylee and Ty’s book!! I knew it was going to be great and I wasn’t wrong! It was totally worth the wait. I loved these two from their time in Never Enough and just couldn’t wait to see how their story turned out. They had a few ups and downs and a couple “I wanna slap Ty upside the head” moments but once he gets his act together, it was perfect. They totally belonged together and I loved their story from beginning to end! Thanks for another great read, I can’t wait to see what’s next in this series! These stories just keep getting better and better. |
I do love me some Kelly Elliott cowboys! When i first read book one i was instantly drawn to Ty, he had that air about him. Kaylee i already knew i was going to love aswell because she's got fight in her, she put Ty in his place a time or two. So in this book i excited to see how she and Ty got along. Alot like book one you have your heartbreaking moments, your sweet moments and some hot and steamy parts. I love how close knit they all are too. I'm dying for Tanners book, i think he will fall hard like his brothers and Dirk too! I hope we see more of him! ❤ |
Always Enough by Kelly Elliott is the second book in the Meet Me in Montana series. We meet Kaylee and Ty in book one, as Kaylee is Lincoln's best friend and Ty is Brock's brother. I was excited to read their story since it is heavily alluded to in book one and unresolved. While I liked their story and their connection, I had some of the same problems I had with book one, and the length of the book and their back and forth. It dragged on a bit as well. I also felt like the characters were similar to Lincoln and Brock, almost formulaic. Overall though, this was a really sweet romance and I like the big cast of characters that has been established in book one and we are seeing more of now. |
Always Enough is a beautifully written story that takes you on an emotional journey as main characters Ty and Kaylee both have extensive baggage, Ty from an addiction to pain medication caused from a severe car accident that also ended his career as a pro bull rider and Kaylee who three years on is still trying to make sense off and grieve her fiancées suicide and has followed her best friend Lincoln to Montana for a much-needed fresh start. And so, this really was a dazzling and powerful story, that is full of love, angst, family, persistence, and hope, not only for the future, but to be a better person, and to be good enough for those you love most in the world no matter how broken you may feel, and quite frankly, I was utterly enthralled from the very first page. Would highly recommend. |
Always Enough by Kelly Elliott a five-tar read you will never get enough of. This is number two in the Meet me in Montana Series and they both tell a great tale, you could read this one and not be lost if you miss the first, but I promise you will want to go and read that one so I would advise reading them in order if you can, if you don’t then just keep reading and enjoy. Kaylee and Ty both have a history and reasons that they shouldn’t work, but sometimes two wrongs do make it right, both have lost dreams. The angst and drama in this story keep the will they wont they and the push and pull leaping off the page and make you feel that Montana snow in your hair, make you feel the warmth of the open fire on your face. Do not miss this series as Kelly Elliot has a style that makes you feel part of the story. Which cowboy will be the next Montanan we will hear from as they grow something special there and I need me some more cowboy. |

Just when I think one of Kelly’s characters is my favorite, she creates a story that has me feeling as if I have lost my mind. I have loved every book that she has written, but there was something about Ty and Kaylee that had me glued to the pages. I knew their story would be awesome, just by the tidbits we were fed in Never Enough, but this was beyond anything I imagined. Ty was a man who felt broken and unworthy. He had his whole life, dreams and career taken from him in the blink of an eye. And then, he felt like he let his family down by taking pills for the pain. He wants Kaylee, but believes she deserves better. Even though he pushes her away time and again, he can’t stay away. Kaylee is also dealing with a lot. We knew something tragic happened in her past relationship, but it is truly horrendous. She wants Ty and has even kissed him a couple of times, but she is getting tired of the back and forth. When she decides to ask him if there could be anything between them, he acts like an a**hole and she decides to move on. This book had so many ups and downs that sometimes I felt like I had whiplash. Once they got together, I thought they would be happy for awhile before things went south, boy was I wrong. His mind was so messed up because of a secret he was keeping from everyone that he pushes her away again. I knew his secret had to be a doozy and it was. Just when they finally dig their heads out of their you know what’s, the rug gets pulled out again. I felt so bad for both Ty and Kaylee at certain times, but I knew Kelly would find the best way to the HEA. Their chemistry was amazing and the reasons they pushed the other away were true to life. I loved this book and I highly recommend this book to everyone. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest, voluntary review. |

Well written romance. Very good plot with believable characters. I received an arc from the publisher and this is my unbiased review. |
Not my first read by the author, she is one of my very firsts and a favorite author at that. That said, I have already read book #1 in this series!! This one was SO MUCH MORE INTENSE! It does have a couple triggers: substance abuse & suicide. Aside from that, it really was intense, everything about it. The ultimate enemy-to-lovers romance! i was not ready for this book and I don’t really know if its a good or bad thing. Because at the beginning it was fun and games with their banter, back and forth, the chemistry but then there were a lot of outbursts from both. Little about the hero; TY Shaw oldest of the brothers, most successful one in the bull riding that had it all shattered to pieces one day, from a careless driver. After that he became a shell of a man and kept everything and everyone away. Even family. He suffered through something and worked hard to get better, but kept himself still closed off. Kaylee comes off of a relationship where her husband left her. She is best friends with Lincoln, Brock’s wife and moved to the small town to be closer to her originally, then she fell in love with it and stayed. She has always been upfront independent and strong, all her life she was handed everything and told to do nothing. So she is determined to make it on her own. Their relationship together is rocky. Kaylee has strong feelings for TY and TY can not let anyone in. It’s a heartbreaking story after all, is it fate? A little, but mostly because..I…my heart goes out of Kaylee I really felt for her and at times really hated TY, he was a stubborn stubborn stupid man! Be prepared when going in, your emotions will be high and low right along with the characters. Fantastic writing in this one, really felt every word. Rating: ★★★★★ Romance: ♡♡♡♡ Steamy: 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Type: Book #2 of Series Recommended: ☑ HIGHLY! ⇨ H A P P Y – R E A D I N G ⇦ |
This is a beautifully written love story about opening your heart after tragedy has closed you off from living. Ty not only has lost his career as a bull-rider but other actions in his life have left him with the idea that everything he hopes for eventually gets pulled away. Kaylee has had he own hurdles to overcome before she can start again. When the two collide the sexual tension makes them more like enemies - poking jabs and hateful words. It only takes an injury and a blizzard that has them locked in together bringing out a new side for them both. I can guarantee once you start this book you will not be able to put it down. In true Kelly Elliott fashion the reader will fall in love with these characters as she never disappoints!! |
Literally finished this book in 1 day (thanks for having the flu). And OMG I love everything about Kaylee and Ty! This book is wonderful! It’s a roller coaster of emotions! I wanted to smack Ty a few times! That man can be so frustrating! Kaylee is a saint to be able to put up with him! Their story is beautifully written! |
This one will tug on your heartstrings in a big way, pairing a broken hero with a heroine who has hope despite the darkness in her past. It's not so much a story about falling in love as it is a story about accepting it - though this does technically stand alone, we were introduced to this couple in the first book in the series and they already have pretty strong feelings for each other at the start. It's steamy and emotional, complicated and messy, with writing that will draw you in. Ty won me over so much that I was rooting for his happy ever after, despite the fact that he's battling some demons. The story follows Ty and Kaylee, two people who met and flirted until things changed between them. After an injury ended his bull riding career, Ty became addicted to painkillers and has only recently pulled himself out of the dark (some triggers in both of their pasts). He's unwilling to open his heart to a woman - knowing he can't handle one more failure in his life - so when he meets Kaylee and learns she's only visiting town, he sees her as a potential fling. Kaylee's decision to move to town - and her genuine interest in Ty - sent him running, so their relationship is strained at best. The attraction is still there, but neither is willing to go all in. I had mixed feelings about the first book in the series, but my main complaint was with the hero and not the writing, so I delved into this with low expectations. It far surpassed anything I could've anticipated - it's definitely still an angsty, difficult read, but I had a much easier time connecting to Ty. Yes, he's frustrating and so very broken, but he's got an endearing side that pulled the story together. I may have felt differently had I not read the first book in the series, but it was easy for me to get into this right away. I liked it enough that I almost rated this 5 stars, but a few fumbles towards the end (and one very unnecessary subplot) pulled this down, but not enough to affect my enjoyment. I'm looking forward to seeing what's next for the series - we've gotten a few clues and I'm intrigued, to say the least. I received an ARC via NetGalley and am voluntarily leaving a review of this complex, emotional book. |
