Piper and Harley have been friends forever. He was there when her heart was broken. He has always held a special place in his heart for her. He was and still is her “manblocker.” He is always there to scare potential dates away. Deep down no one is good enough for her but him. This is something he is yet to admit and never in a million years would Piper figure it out. She is so unlike her sisters and sister-in-law. Where they are frilly she is rough. But her heart is soft and she would do anything for anyone who needs it. That is why she agrees to help Harley with his nieces when he has an accident and is laid up.

This story is so full of love from everywhere. From Piper’s mom and her famous potions, to Harley’s mom playing matchmaker. No single adult is safe. Especially Harley and Piper. But like life nothing is easy. Piper has been hurt in the past by guys wanting to change her. She cannot believe that Harley wants her for what and who she is. She afraid of taking that step and enter into a relationship with him for that fear alone. What will happen to their friendship if things didn’t work out. As an optimist what would happen if you gave it a chance. Harley is determined to make Piper his and accept her for whatever she is willing to give. Will he succeed and prove to her he and they are worth the risk?

A splendid sequel to “This is Love”. Piper Dalton loves her work with Dalton Contracting doing construction and remodels. She is NOT a “girly girl” and enjoys sports and beer. Harley Dutch, after time working on Wall Street, has returned home to take over the family business, Dutch’s Pub. He has always had Piper’s back and has given her time to “see” him, but now the time is up. Piper never wants to marry, but things are changing between her and Harley. Every man she has dated has wanted her to “change”, will Harley accept her as she is? The back and forth dialog between them, adds so much laugh out loud humor to the story as Piper and Harley come to terms with their feelings. A well-rounded family story that brings us updates on past characters. I received an advance review copy at no cost and without obligation for an honest review. (by paytonpuppy)

I was given an ARC from NetGalley and was beyond excited to read this, as Melissa Foster is one of my favourite authors.
I have read the previous 2 books in the series and each can be read as standalone. But for me, the beauty of Melissa’s books is getting to know all the characters as a group and then in more detail within their own stories.
I loved this story about two best friends who riskily move from that to lovers. A romance with heat, love, friendship and laughter. The perfect escapism read when globally things are so awful.

This is Piper and Harley's romance. It is book 3 in the series and I have read only the 2nd book. This book took me a very long time to read. Largely I think it was that I did not like Piper a whole lot. Harley was beyond wonderful but Piper I had a really tough time liking.

Piper and Harley are best friends, he runs a bar and she runs a construction company. She also dated his brother as a teenager, Marshall. Until he cheated on her and since then she is into casual or one night sex and no love or romance.

Harley is in love with her and has always been there for her and her family and vice versa on her side. She is a really great friend to him and so when he gets injured she helps him take care of his nieces while his sister is recovering from Cancer.

Even after Harley gets her to give him a chance at love, she still refuses to let him love her and marry her and for that was a big issue. It would have been different if many guys broke her heart but as a teen M cheated on her once. At 16!! And she never wanted to love again. I would have understood it more if something really awful happened but he just made her cry. This really made me kinda hate her.

Even after Marshall enters the story and apologizes and explains still she gives Harley a hard time. I really did hate her character. She does have some good points but I just did not understand her and I felt Harley deserved much better.

That said the writing is good and I perked up when Marshall came back to town. And I loved Harley and his sister and nieces.

This was my first read by Ms. Foster and I plan on reading more of her books; especially this series. The characters jump off the page and Ms. Foster is a genius on how her stories intertwine within each other. This story is about Piper Dalton, she has a construction company and surrounds herself in a male dominated world. Harley Dutch, a bar owner; he loves his family and will do anything to protect them. That is until he hurts his ankle and needs help. Piper comes to help and while under pain medicine, Harley lets Piper know how he feels. Piper, doesn’t do relationships; Harley knows this and is willing to fight for them. So where does this leave them? Will Harley get his girl? Gotta read this to find out how Harley breaks down all of Piper’s walls, and know his love. You will not be disappointed! Harley, on drugs is freaking funny! Harley off...

So drawn out and boring. I actually stopped reading this and read two other books in between. I needed a break. I’m disappointed because I was looking forward to these two, but there was so much unnecessary dribble about feelings. And then it just got stupid and over the top cheesy. I couldn’t wait to be done.

Being the last of the Dalton clan to settle down, Piper believes that romance and love only changes a person and not for the better. That is until she spends quality time with Harley, the flirt who has said over and over that she is the one. Injured and in need of assistance Harley shows Piper the true meaning of family and love while he cares for his two nieces while their mother is ill. Through in the backstory with Harley's brother and the reader has a better understanding of his true feelings for Piper. But can Piper change her beliefs? Or is relationship doomed from the get go? With honest and lovable characters this is another great addition to the Harmony Pointe series.

While normally a fan of this author and the characters of the Dalton family from her others books, I have to say I struggled with this one. To me the story was just too drawn out and could easily have been shortened. Since it was a best friends to lovers trope, you clearly didn't need for Piper and Harley to get to know one another but it just, to me, seemed repetitive. Although I will say there were some funny moments in the book and it was great to get an update on all the other family members. I just would have liked to shorten the story a bit.

Piper is not a girly girly like her sisters, she runs her family’s construction business, likes sports and hanging with the guys. Harley, owns the local bar, and has been waiting patiently for Piper (one of his best friends) to realize that he might just want something more. When Hayley hurts is ankle, Piper picks him and and helps him take care of his nieces. This was another great book in the Harmony Pointe series. I really enjoyed watching Piper accept that she could be in a relationship and not her to change who she is., in addition to seeing all of the Dalton’s again in a story. Definitely worth the read.

Melissa Foster is a new author to me. I did hesitate starting with a 3rd in a series, but I was intrigued by the description of She Loves Me and decided to go for it. I'm really happy that I did and thankfully it turned out to be a standalone. It does have quite a few side characters that I believe have their own books, and while it took me a bit to learn who everyone was, I never felt lost.

For my first read by this author this turned out to be a great one. I happy to know I have several books to read by all these side characters. I really enjoyed that small town feel and all the people in our main couples lives. The author even has me excited for future books with some still unattached characters. I am such a sucker for single parent romances and it looks like we got a few to look forward to.

As for our main characters? Oh man, was Harley amazing! My number one favorite thing in a hero is a man who knows what he wants and goes for it. Add in that he's devoted, loyal, awesome with kids, makes him almost perfect in my eyes. And the way he was so patient with Piper, he never gave up. I loved him!

Piper had some thorns. She has a lot of hangups about men and I wanted her to accept Harley's love easier but once she gave him a chance, she never pushed him away. She worked at trying to open up to him and she was honest. I loved how honest she was. You don't have any games being played with these two. It really was refreshing and it made me love her character despite that big wall she had up.

I really enjoyed my first book by Melissa Foster. I highly recommend it and can see myself going back and re-reading this one again.

“She Loves Me”, by Melissa Foster (Montlake Romance), is a friends-to-lovers romance, with two likable main characters and a cast of lots of family related characters and several happy married couples with children.
Harley and Piper are nice, selfless and affectionate people. When they turn from friends to lovers the sex scenes dominate the story, along with conversations about feelings, emotions and relationships, involving them and other characters. They have good chemistry and their attraction is convincing.
Although, to an extent, I liked the strong bonds of love between characters and how good “open and loving” Harley and Piper are together, and their connection and electricity, this isn’t really my type of story. There’s a lot of lusting, graphic sex and endless descriptions of Harley’s prowess and physical attributes, including the super large dimensions of his “banana” (also designated as “bulge”, “package”, “girth”, “monster”, “hard shaft”…).
A quote (from ARC):
“They’d ended up with Harley lying on his back in the bathtub, the shower raining down on them as she rode him like the stallion he was.”

Melissa is one of my favorite authors and with every book, they are so good. I loved Piper and Harley. Their chemistry was great and could cut the tension between them with a knife. Great characters and so enjoyable. Very fun book to read.

Thank you Netgalley, the author and publisher for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

She Loves Me by Melissa Foster a knockout five-star read. This is number three in the Harmony Pointe series and I would recommend you read them In order but that is only as I have read them in order but if you don’t fancy them all you could pick it up but I don’t know if you would miss bits. This was funny and real in a sarcastic and honest manner. Piper Dalton may just be my favourite character of this whole series, she really made me smile, she just had this spark to her that leapt of the page. Piper made me laugh and made my heart brake for her, I loved how she helped Harley with his nieces, I think that helped her come to terms with a lot. Harley Dutch well he was a different matter, he made me ball my fists at times and then want to lovingly smile at him in the next breath. Overall I enjoyed this one, but it wasn’t my favourite of the series, even though it contained my favourite character, that being said it could be the times that I read this novel and wrote this review as its crazy times a foot, times that we could all do with our own Mad House.

SHE LOVES ME is the third book in Melissa Foster’s “Harmony Pointe” series. Although I hadn’t read the previous books in this series, I was still able to follow along and enjoy SHE LOVES ME. Piper Dalton and Harley Dutch have known each other since they were much younger. Piper briefly dated Harley’s brother Marshall with disastrous results. Although Marshall eventually blew town, he lousy boyfriend behavior left a profound mark on Piper and influenced the way she handles romantic relationships in the present. That past is part of why she is so determined to keep her BFF Harley in the “friend zone”. I love stories in which the hero secretly carries a torch for the heroine – especially when it’s a “friends-to-lovers” situation like this one.

I like how Melissa Foster reverses some common gender stereotypes. In SHE LOVES ME, it’s Piper who works in a typically male-dominated career, has trouble articulating her emotions, dealing with commitment, and who rides to the hero’s rescue when he injures himself. It’s Harley who wears his heart on his sleeve and does the emotional heavy lifting initially. When Harley is injured and needs Piper to help care for himself, his adorable dog, and his nieces, their close confines act as an impetus to change their relationship for the better. Piper is able to look at Harley in a different light. I’m glad that Melissa Foster tells this story from both perspectives, since they can be slow to reveal exactly how they feel and how they see their future. Harley is a flirty and fun guy, but he’s also not pushy. He respects Piper, likes her exactly for who she is without wanting to change her, or have a relationship strictly on his terms. It takes a lot of love and persistence from Harley, but Piper eventually realizes her feelings for her friend change – as much as it frustrates and bedevils her.

SHE LOVES ME is a captivating character-driven romance with a delightful mix of sexy and sweet. Melissa Foster does a great job of balancing the sweet with the sexy bits in SHE LOVES ME. Harley’s young nieces and his dog Jiggs make entertaining secondary characters and alternately give the story some depth and comic relief. I hope to read a story about Harley’s sister in the future. I look forward to hunting down the previous books in this series and devouring.

This has to have been my favorite of this series, and to be honest I wash shocked with myself for having requested it, since I didn't care for the previous two book. But all in all it was enough to past the time. We get reacquainted with Piper and Harley who have been friends for years. So while Piper helps Harley recover from a hurt ankle you know what happens when two attractive and attracted to each other friends spend time together , yup you guessed they start developing feelings. so is it worth it to pass the friends zone?

I fell in love with Piper & Harley, they are my new favorites, and lets not forget good ole Jiggs! 5 stars for this one!
Melissa takes us through Pipers story, we get to know more of what made Piper who she is today! When Harley gets hurt, and shes called in to go pick him up at the hospital, well that's the start of why these two are a perfect match! Read along and experience all the emotions these two will take you through, you will fall in love with them and the dog as well! Not to mention, you get to see glimpses of previous characters, and get caught up with them as well! Melissa delivers the best of both worlds here, a current story and lots of cameos from other characters! That's what I love about her stories! Make sure you grab this asap!!!

Whether Harley realizes it or not, he has been in love with Piper since she was in high school. He has been aware of his feelings for her for a couple of years, but chooses to bide his time. He knows that Piper is fiercely independent, insisting that she will never marry.

Piper was deeply hurt by a cheating boyfriend while in high school and put up walls as a result. She seems to realize that she might like to be a mother someday, but is adamant about never marrying. Harley has been a close friend for a few years, but she begins to realize that she might feel more after he is injured.

Piper agrees to help Harley care for his two nieces as he is recovering from an injury. Harley has flirted with Piper for years, but she has always blown him off, believing that he was just teasing her. Now, for the first time, Harley becomes intent on making Piper aware that he hasn’t been teasing. Can a woman who has spent years putting up walls lower those walls for a man who she believes to be one of the best men she has ever known?

I always like a little Melissa Foster in my life. She doesn't disappoint with this one!
I have not read any of the other books in this series, so I went in blind! Piper is a woman in a man's world, she doesn't let anyone in easily, but Harley is okay with that. He's playing the long game for her heart. Best friends, Piper is taking care of Harley after injuring his ankle. Things start getting hot and steamy....... Definitely enjoyed this quick, fun read.

3/5 stars.

I received this book as an ARC from the publisher, but these opinions are all my own.

How great is Melissa Foster? She killed me with this story with Piper and Harley. Hang on to your kindle with this one. This book got me all sixes and sevens reading it and I wasn't sure who I wanted to clobber more at times, myself or the two of them! Seriously! I absolutely loved this story. It is book three in the Harmony Point series, and here we have Piper Dalton, the only Dalton who is unattached and is determined to stay that way forever. When her good friend and pub owner Harley Dutch injures himself at work, she gets the call to go pick him up. Harley not only owns and runs the pub, he's looking after his two nieces while his sister recovers from serious surgery. Piper works with her father is their construction business. Totally hands on supervisor who has a good crew that works with her and Piper is more than competent when it comes to swinging a hammer or setting tile. Harley and Pipe have been friends forever and since Harley took over the pub 3 years ago she spends most nights in their eating and having a couple of beers. Piper can't just leave Harley alone while he's drugged up on pain meds and someone needs to pick up the girls from school and various other duties that are involved not to mention Harley's drugged up babble about Piper and how Piper is looking at Harley a little differently too.
Piper doesn't know what to do with all this and calls an emergency meeting with her sister who owns the bakery in town, Piper is a serious sugar junkie and copes with any and all crisis with a fix form her sisters bakery. Her sister calls in the troops which include her other sisters, sister in law and a bestie.
With very little direction and a lot of sugar ingested Piper returns to the house after making sure her crew is set up on the renovation they are doing and back to Harleys she goes. The dialogue between the two is hysterical and medicated Harley is extra hot. As the story unfolds we see a lot of the characters from the previous two books, a boatload of denial on Piper's part, Harley doing his best to not scare off the intimidating bad ass Piper and plenty of meddling from both their mothers.
Throw in a couple of mind bending plot twists, love potions and sledge hammering and you have the perfect story! I loved Harley and Piper together and their small victories along with their setbacks, the smoking hot steam between them, it's kindle melting delicious!
Melissa totally delivered a perfectly crazy love story with all the trimmings! It's an absolute must read!
Totally more than 5 stars

Piper Dalton has spent most of her life feeling sure that love and marriage aren't for her, slightly commitmentphobic and happy with her contracting business she's convinced she's not what most men are looking for anyways. Harley Dutch has had eyes for only one woman for years. Unfortunately for him, he's in the friendzone, and Piper has so many walls up it's going to take him forever to get through to her, but that's ok. he has tons of patience.

I adore Piper and Harley, friends to lovers is one of my favorites and this didn't disappoint. I really liked that Piper is a contractor and can definitely hold her own and take charge and that she's unapologetic about it. She was so relatable in having been burned in past relationships by men who wanted to change her. Harley has the patience of a saint, his calm reassuring demeanor was absolutely perfect. I feel like Marshall's story could have been its own book, so incredibly tragic. The only thing I struggle with Melissa Foster's books is all of the side characters. There are so many, even having read the previous two in this series, I still got confused trying to remember who was who. If you love spinoffs and interconnected books/series, she's definitely the author for you. Overall this book is a great story, super sweet and pretty low angst (with the exception of Marshall.).
