Such a funny light hearted read. I enjoyed this book and did not want to put it down. A perfect story about true friendship. I definitely recommend you reading this. |
This story is told from the perspectives of three friends, who are all nearing their 40's. The varying perspectives added a new depth to the story. I did enjoy this book, however I found it somewhat lacking and it didnt fully grasp my attention. |

Ana, Stella and Dixie have been friends for years. Now they are nearing their 40's their lives are changing. The book is told from each of their points of view which I liked. |
The story is about three friends, three women who are all at some kind of crossroads in their lives. The realisation that your life shouldn't be lived for others, and your pleasure and happiness shouldn't be structured around the needs of others either. Sometimes you have to be selfish to get what you need, as opposed to what other people think you want. Is Coco the forbidden fruit or is it a case of being drawn in by the beauty and lack of parallels. Does the thrill of something new give Stella a new lease on life or is it more about the stagnation providing the perfect opportunity for squashed emotions and previously buried attractions to rear their head? I didn't quite buy the friendship between Stella, Ana and Dixie, but if you sit back and ponder on it there is an element of truth in the more brutally honest element of their relationships. The characters are too singular and never quite manage to bridge the gap between page and reader or between themselves. Although the majority of the scenes have a basis in reality the story lacks the spark of authenticity that takes readers from fiction to empathy and recognising a part of themselves in the read. It's a bit explicit, now and again, when it comes to the sex scenes - just something to be aware of if you're not into a wee bit of horizontal tango, thrusting manhoods and moist girl caves awaiting said manhoods. The title more or less spells it out for readers. The characters don't give a flying frog and neither does Webb, which of course is part of the charm of this read, and I expect this won't be the last time we hear from this author. |
A decent enough, lighthearted read, but not an absolute page Turner - lacked the “oomph” to keep me reading. |

A read this because I wanted a break from dark thrillers. This was the perfect remedy. Funny, compelling and I loved it. Thank you for letting me read this book :) |
You know when you've had a book on your TBR pile for ages and then when you finally read it, you wish you red it ages ago, well I definitely 'regret' not reading No Regrets sooner. This was the perfect, raunchy read that had been missing in my life. Three friends, Ana, Stella and Dixie who have been friends forever all seem to be reaching pivotal moments in their life in terms of babies, relationships, work decisions and of course love. Stella is your typical bored housewife, but her story is not one that we'd come to expect in stories of bored stay at home mum's. Think she was my favourite character, I liked that she was prepared to take a walk on the wild side. Loved the ease of which these characters gelled together and their long term friendship was very believable, both in how they had each other's backs, but also fought like only well established friends can. If you need your autumn days warming up - No Regrets will do it for you! Thanks to Netgalley for the opportunity to review this book. This is my honest opinion. |

Could not get into this. Within 5%, there was a racist joke, which the heroine consciously makes, there's mention how chocolate looks like poo on her rival's skirt (and she actually praises her kid for this poo episode!), then there's another supposed heroine who is so condescending to the man she is with, it just makes you shake your head and wonder what a nice guy like him is doing with a b*tch like her. Seriously unsympathetic let alone lovable characters - did not do it for me and I couldn't even finish the book |
How on earth is this a debut novel, its is far too good to be a debut, I love it that much . It to me is just what I want from a holiday read so very glad I was by the pool in Malta when I read it in one afternoon. I was hooked almost instantly on these three friends, Stella, Ana and Dixie. Stella is married with kids but feels like her life is stagnating a bit, and becomes friends with a young nanny, and I loved seeing just what influence Coco has on Stella! Ana is desperate to have a child with Rex, but then discovers an ex has become mega successful and in the spotlight and starts to wonder! While Dixie is without a doubt my favourite of the three ladies, for she clearly loves sex, is quite happy to continually alter her age on tinder, and not to mention the incredibly hot guy she sits next to on a transatlantic flight, who she has instant chemistry with. They are three women who are determined to live life to its fullest, and to have absolutely no regrets when it comes to anything. This was such a refreshing read, and feels like it could empower women to take control of their lives, and especially their sex lives. I whizzed through this in an afternoon and afterwards wondered why on earth it had been sitting on my kindle for so long, as I had known from the second I read the blurb that it would be my sort of book! Absolutely loved every filthy moment of this entertaining, escapist book. Thank you to HQ and Netgalley for this copy which I have reviewed honestly and voluntarily. |
So I knew this was going to be a steamy read going in to it and this does not bother me, what does frustrate me somewhat is a lack of storyline or one that feels disjointed and unfortunately this one didn't work for me. The book follows 3 women through a period of their life, their encounters and relationships. Each character is giving a separate chapter and we basically follow their sexual exploits. Each character is at a different stage of a relationship and this made for an interesting contrast between them, although I felt like if the author had just stuck with one character I would have felt more invested in the outcome. The second half of the book was slightly better than the first and I enjoyed Dixie's story the most. This was an ok read and if you have time sitting around the pool on holiday then it would be worth picking this one up. |
Oh boy! This has got to be one of my favourite books. It is fun and exciting and has a bunch of fantastic characters that you will just grow to love. Honestly I need a follow up from this I would love to hear more from these characters. Their stories are so relatable to many and you can’t help but love them all. Such an easy to read. I adored this! |
I was so intrigued by the description of this book and what it was compared to. I enjoyed it but it didn't quite live up to some of it's supposed predecessors. |
Thanks to netgalley and the publishers for this read. The story follows Stella, Ana & Dixie. They seem unlikely friends who as they have got older have gone down very different routes. Somehow their shared history still bonds them. No spoilers but this is an easy summer read. |
Thank you to @hqstories for letting me be a part of the blog tour for this title. This book is a great example of a close friendship between these ladies at different points of their lives. Friendships really can get you through even the biggest of problems! This book is a little bit naughty too..think Samantha Jones from Sex & The City! It’s a great summer read for a bit of escapism. Congratulations to Tabitha Webb on her debut novel. |

A light hearted, rather raunchy read that would be a perfect holiday book. It follow three best friends Stella, Ana and Dixie, who are all in some way or another searching for something a bit more in their lives! It is an easy read, and somewhat predictable in places but overall an enjoyable read. |
If you’re looking for a few hours of escapism and something easy and fun to read, look no further. No regrets would be the book to pick up while you’re dipping your toes in the pool with a cocktail in hand 🍹 ⠀ Every now and again I like to pick up a light-hearted girly read, the characters were entertaining, but I would have liked a bit more focus on the them and a bit less on sex (there was a lot, verging on TMI)🙈 I did find the storylines a bit far fetched but that’s part of the escapism of this book. An enjoyable read with plenty of laughs and sex and the city vibes along the way! |
In this book we follow Stella, Ana and Dixie. They’ve been friends since childhood and are now approaching their 40s. We follow this close knit group, who are more family than friends, as they look at their lives and deal with some big events. The events the women deal with are big, life changing events, however, there is still the undercurrent of brutal honesty and humour between the ladies which keeps it lighter hearted or easier to read. I received an eARC copy of this book from the publishers via Netgalley. These opinions are my own. |

An easy-reading, triple romance with some raunchy sex scenes. Best friends Stella, Ana and Dixie are all at different point in their lives. Stella is married with children and hitting an existential crisis. Ana wants to settle down at all costs, even if her partner isn't the love of her life. Dixie is wild and single but might find herself conforming despite herself. All of their lives are on a precipice of change and they are there for each other regardless. Its a lovely story of the power of strong friendships, and the search for true love. Whether they know it or not, all three are searching for the love of their life....making this a love story x 3, Between them they cover lots of topical issues - IVF, sexual experimentation, marital boundaries. The book manages to cover all these topics without making them the emphasis of the story, while giving the characters some depth. Highly recommended, and thoroughly entertaining. |
No Regrets is a 3.5🌟 rounded up to 4🌟 This was a book that was funny in places and one I enjoyed reading on the whole, I didn’t love it but I didn’t hate it either. It’s about three friends approaching their forties and trying to work out who they are. Stella is married with two boys and has given up work and feels life isn’t going to change for a ,long time and misses her independence, she’s drifting apart from her husband and life’s not as good as it should be. Ana is trying to get pregnant with her partner, her life centres around this and she seemed the most likeable character to me. Dixie is into tinder but meets a mysterious man at the airport and finds herself next to him on the first class flight, is he her Mr Right or is he another liar? This was a book that travels at a good pace but did seem quite unbelievable at times, for example they all fly off to New York at the drop of a hat which when one of them have kids it’s not that easy. I would like to thank Netgalley and HQ for this ARC I received in exchange for an honest review. |
When I chose this book, I knew I'd come across Tabitha Webb before and discovered that she is the go-to fashion designer loved by Duchess of Cambridge. Knowing this made me think I'd be in for a fluffy and genteel book with love and romance at the centre. The main character would kiss a couple of frogs and find her prince 🤴. Yeah, right! Take away the fluffy and add the filth. 'No Regrets' follows the lives of three best friends in their early 40s and Webb's narrative switches between each of them. Stella is a mother of two sons with her husband, Jake, largely absent after becoming partner in a law firm. She wants to escape the monotony and relative isolation of her domestic life. Dixie is the daring one of the three who is frank and feisty, living the jet-set life until she meets an intriguing scientist on a plane to New York. Finally, Ana, is living her life to a strict schedule to have a baby with partner Rex when a chance encounter with an ex raises questions on the suitability of her comfortable but somewhat stagnant life. As much as I like a light read from time to time, this was just a bit too clichéd for me. The characters, as much as I wanted to read on to the end and see how it all worked out for them, seemed to be identikit versions of Miranda, Samantha and Charlotte from SATC. They seemed to embody the same characteristics and some of the characters' experiences. The book was energetically explicit in parts and some descriptions really quite shocking. Not to sound too prudish but certain sections were just a bit cringe-worthy. However, I did like the premise and it would be a fun read poolside with a daiquiri in hand as opposed to my current location! |
