This is a fun book that would be a great holiday read. 3 friends who are all at a crisis point in their lives with careers and relationships. Stella is a struggling to be the perfect yummy mummy after putting her career on hold. Dixie loves her job but hasn’t found Mr Right – just Mr Right Now. And Ana is happy enough with Rex and wants a baby – but is she settling. There’s lots of funny moments in this book. I loved Stella’s supermarket trip with a chocolate covered toddler – something I can definitely relate. You have to suspend your disbelief at moments and just go along with it. It’s a described as a “sexy romp” and there are quite a few sexy scenes – I must admit I do skim read these a bit as they are not my thing. If you like fast paced, easy reading fun chick lit then you will enjoy No Regrets. |
A fun, sassy summer read! I loved that the narrative for this book is split equally between the three female leads & the dialogue is easy-going giving a realistic rapport between the friends. Although I felt you had to suspend too much belief to believe in their happy-ever-afters and get that very neatly wrapped ending. Overall, a great light-hearted read centered around female friendship. A huge thanks to HQ Stories & NetGalley for sending me a copy in return for an open & honest review. ⭐⭐⭐ |
I was fortunate to receive a copy of this ARC from NetGalley. This books focuses on the friendship of Stella, Dixie and Ana now they are all in their 40s. The story covers infidelity, difficulties conceiving, sexuality and what love and friendship really mean. I could definitely relate at the moment to Stella's position (I am furloughed) - how much does your work define you? My favourite quote: "Sometimes she wondered what would happen if she just let him go. Would he return in 16 years?" 😂 The Kindle book is out now and the paperback comes out 23rd July |
Stella, Dixie and Ana have been friends a long time, through all of life's ups and downs and need each other more than ever as Stella tries to return to work after taking time off to raise her sons and finds out her husband has been keeping secrets of his own, Ana wants a baby but is her relationship the right one, and Dixie thinks she's met The One but is he? This is a naughty, fun and feisty book about embracing your life and living in the moment, even if you are headed for 40 and feeling a tad stuck. I have to say, I really wasn’t expecting the sauciness, and this probably isn’t a book for the faint hearted but there were moments of proper laughter, so I found it easy to devour this book in one sitting. If you’re looking for an easy summer read that can be enjoyed in the sun with a cocktail in hand, then this is for you. |
No Regrets by Tabitha Webb is a light, frisky, escapist read that is great for the summer. . Stella, Dixie and Ana are three friends who are all at points in their lives where they are questioning if they are in the right place in their lives. Stella, a Mum of 2 is frustrated and wants to get back to work, but her Husband is keeping secrets. Dixie, the tinder addict who may have stumbled across The One, but is he? Ana, she has the perfect good man, and wants to have the perfect baby with him, or does she? . This book is not for the fient hearted, with a fair amount of sex romps thrown in, which I didn't expect, and to be honest, could have done with a little less. . It's a read that would be ideal when lazing around a swimming pool with a few cocktails, so not quite my lockdown must read but an enjoyable one. . Thank you to @HQstories for this #gifted copy. . |
This is a story of friendship and love, to make us remember that no matter how hard are the times we are living, our friends will be there. Maybe they will tell us truths that we don’t want to listen to, or maybe we will feel that they have been rude, but they will make this for us, never forget it. In these grey days reading something funny and relatable makes the day a little less grey, there’s always time for a good mystery, but something that makes you change your mood and let you a smile on your face is a book I’ll always recommend. This is the story of Stella, Ana and Dixie; they have been friends forever and now they will need their help more than ever; marital problems, love affairs and pregnancy. This is a story any reader will feel related one way or the other, you will get connected with these characters and that’s what makes this story so addictive. After reading this book I simply stared at my wall and remembered how proud I am of my friends, they are there, the good and the bad, no matter the distance we have between us, I know they have me on speed dial. That’s what I liked about this story, the core of it, it’s funny, fresh and with a human touch but is the feeling that left on me after the last page, the warm heart of good memories and a happy face on me. Really, take a break and read “No Regrets” you’ll not regret it! 😉 |

'No Regrets' is being described as perfect for fans of 'Bridget Jones' Diary'. I enjoyed reading 'Bridget Jones' Diary' and so I thought that I would give 'No Regrets' a whirl. I thoroughly enjoyed reading 'No Regrets' but more about that in a bit. I can't honestly say that I warmed to any of the main characters but that's ok as it meant that I didn't favour one over the other. I have to admit that in some way each of the three main ladies irritated me a fair bit and at times I wanted to slap them with a wet fish or shake them by their shoulders. Although I didn't take to the main characters, I didn't dislike them either. Oh my word, 'No Regrets' wasn't exactly the book that I thought it would be. I mean that in the nicest possible way. I was drawn into this story from the start and I found that I just couldn't put the book down for any length of time. When I started to read 'No Regrets' in no way did I think that I wouldn't be moving from my reading seat for the length of the book. I read it in one big reading binge. I loved the mix of humour and drama within this book. 'No Regrets' was a cracking read which certainly helped to distract me from the pain I was in. 'No Regrets' is well written. The author certainly knows how to grab your attention from the start and then she takes you on one sassy, sexy and fun journey through the lives of the three main ladies. Tabitha's writing style is easy to get used to an easy to get along with. In fact reading 'No Regrets' felt more like a chat between friends than reading an actual book. I hope that makes sense. I really felt as though I was part of the story, which is down to Tabitha's superb storytelling. 'No Regrets' is the perfect escapist read, which is ideal for reading on your holiday or distracting you from all the talk of COVID19. In short, I thoroughly enjoyed 'No Regrets' and I would definitely recommend this book to other readers. I will be reading more of Tabitha's work in the future. The score on the Ginger Book Geek board is a very well deserved 5* out of 5*. |
I read this for a blog tour. This is a fun, funny romp of a book about embracing your life and living in the moment, even if you are headed for 40 and feeling stuck in a rut. So whizzing off for an unforgettable (and not always in the right way) trip to New York opens several cans of worms (do worms really come in cans? If so, why?) and means their bond is tested. This is a perfect summer read, even if, like me, you're going nowhere near a beach with coronavirus still ravaging the planet. Instead, plonk yourself on the sofa with a good snack (I had some mango and chocolate digestives with this one) and read! |

Sorry I can’t give feedback as I found it hard to read and didn’t finish it. I just struggled to stay with it. |

Light-hearted and easy read to get into, perfect if you want some escapism. The characters are all ok, it was a nice pleasant read, but not one I would rave about to recommend. Thank you NetGalley for my complimentary copy in return for my honest review. |
While I read some chick lit novels, I felt this one was a little outside my expertise. It's a sassy interpretation of women going through different stages of their lives even though they are the same age. One a married mother, one wanting to be a mother and one who has no inclination of settling down. Sounds a bit cliche? Maybe, but Tabitha Webb approaches each of these women's lives with an open mind, they come across situations which, although I personally saw them as unnecessary, they lent some humour and life-lessons for the reader. My favourite thing about the narrative was how equally each woman was followed, I didn't feel like I knew one better than the other but I guess the downside of this is that you don't fully connect with the characters - this could possibly be my age too! I'm early thirties so the idea that getting to forty is some kind of dead-end isn't something I can relate too! Give me a few years and I might tell you something different! Either way, I found this a light-hearted and easy to read book which gave me some much needed escapism. It's is recommended for lovers of Bridget Jones, Sex & the City etc which I would definitely agree with! The friendship shown in the narrative is funny, with the interactions being very easy-going and familiar which gives a nice rapport between characters. I think I would have liked to have gotten more information from some of the male view points to give a more rounded narrative. |

Not what I expected but none the less an enjoyable romp. Three friends are around 40 and new lives begin for all of them. Different reasons mean they need to make big changes but support each other |
This was an enjoyable and easy read. 3 friends around the age of 40 with totally different lives. Stella, married with 2 children stuck in a mum rut. Dixie, work orientated looking to live life to the fullest with no restraints. Ana settled with her good on paper man Rex trying for a baby to complete her good on paper life. They all seem like they have the perfect life on the outside but each are dealing with struggles that they try to keep hidden. I really enjoyed the easy going nature of this book. There were quite a few belly laugh moments from the group. Overall a nice easy light hearted story guaranteed to give you a few laughs along the way |
3.5🌟 This was an enjoyable and easy read. 3 friends around the age of 40 with totally different lives. Stella, married with 2 children stuck in a mum rut. They all seem like they have the perfect life on the outside but each are dealing with struggles that they try to keep hidden. I really enjoyed the banter in this book. There were quite a few belly laugh moments from the group. It gave me definate Sex In The City vibes especially Dixie she's got a real Samantha thing going on and her love interest reminded me of Mr Big. I just found some bits a bit too far fetched and would have loved a bit more depth from certain aspects of the story. Overall a nice easy light hearted story guaranteed to give you a few laughs along the way |
No Regrets is a fun summer read for fans of Sex and the City and Dawn O’Porter’s The Cows. Best friends Stella, Ana and Dixie have been there for each other through thick and thin. But, as they approach their 40s, they each find themselves at a turning point. Despite thinking they’d have everything figured out by this age, they actually all have decisions to make about their careers, parenthood and relationships. As the blurb tells us: Stella loves her children, but misses her glittering career. Plus she can’t even remember the last time she had sex. Ana is trying for a baby with her partner Rex. So why can’t she stop thinking about the one that got away? Dixie is the wildest of them all. A Tinder addict who’ll never settle down. But has she accidentally found Mr Right…? Whilst I didn’t find any of the three particularly relatable, I did enjoy the friendship between the women and how this was both challenged and re-enforced as they each tackled their own problems. The three perspectives gave the book lots of momentum, making it a quick read once you’ve got to know the characters in the first 50 pages or so. Not for the faint-hearted, the book includes a fair bit of sex and a lot of banter between the friends. Some of the comments they made to each other made them less relatable to me (I can’t imagine jovially calling my friends ‘the bitches’, for example!) but it gave the friendship group a clear identity and sense of humour. The ending wraps up relatively neatly – making this a good read for if you want a bit of escapism – but I would have loved Stella’s feelings about her sexuality to have been explored further and for her to have opened up to her husband about this. I can’t help but think that the happy ending wouldn’t last too long! Perhaps we will see a sequel at some point in the future… [Review will be posted at the link below on 5th July] |
I was hoping this would be a fun, escapist bonkbuster and whilst the plot was highly entertaining - if very far-fetched - with a super hot rockstar - I just felt the pacing and writing style didnt grab me enough. I feel awful saying this but I didn't think it was very well written compared to say, Tilly Bagshawe or Rebecca Chance. A okay read but I probably wouldn't read another by this author. |
The lives of modern 30-something women depicted quite perfectly in this book! You know or can relate to these women trying to juggle the work/social life. It’s a relatable and funny laugh out loud book! |
No Regrets is a debut novel and tells the story of three best friends Ana, Dixie and Stella. Each of them have come to a crossroads in their lives and need to make big life decisions. This book had me howling in places and blushing in others. Its a very honest opinion on womens friendships, i like the fact it wasn't always roses between them. I loved it and will be keeping an eye out for future books from Tabitha Webb. |
This book followed 3 women, friends since childhood who are now in their 40s. I can't say I warmed to any of the characters and thought the ending predictable. It was a light fun read however that required little concentration. I am always irritated by small errors that are easily checked though. Saying they were heading east when flying London to New York and that the time difference is 6 hours were two examples. |

Why does everyone else seem to have it together? Not Stella. Loving her life but feeling as if she is missing part of herself. Roller-coaster of marriage motherhood and friendship. When your best friends are always there life can only change and improve. |
