Good for those who want to add this kind of thinking or way of life into own life. Different categories - ways are put like quotes. One thing a day or could do multiple.

This book is a great read for someone interesting in learning more about Buddism with some background knowledge, or none at all! I enjoy the easy to read layout of this book. The bullet points make it very clear and concise. There were an interesting variety of topics covered which can relate to just about everyone at one point or another. The beginning offers great foundational coverage of Buddism.

This is a lovely book for a beginner, even if you just have a fleeting interest in Buddhism. It's easy to read and bitesized so you can dip in and out.

This wasn’t at all what I expected. It is a collection of 365 quotes from a wide variety of sources, Hubert Humphrey, William Gladstone, Emily Dickinson, to name a few. Several quotes are used more than once. Topics include Relationships, Government, Self and Others. Perhaps I need to be a Buddhist to appreciate this book because I did not find it enlightening or enjoyable. There are some good quotes and good advice, but the book does live up to the title, in my opinion.
Thank you to netgalley/editors/publisher for an advance copy.

Provides a basic beginner’s overview of Buddha’s story and the doctrines of the philosophy broken go into small tidbits. They can be read by the chapter or slowly with one section each day for a year to allow time for reflection. Very accessible and easy to understand. Highly recommended for someone interested in learning about Buddhism.

This book isn’t at all how I thought it would be. I thought it would be laid out differently, it would be better as a continual story, than numbered bullet points. So unfortunately I didn’t enjoy this book for that reason and it was a DNF.

Thank you NetGalley for my complimentary copy in return for my honest review.
