A great novel and beautifully written. Loved the journey through Italy as Emma and her team were searching for locations for a new movie. Lovely memories of visiting most of the places as they were bought to life by the author perfectly and when she meets Mark romance starts to blossom in the most beautiful city in the world. Loved it

This is a really easy going book which I enjoyed. it was lovely hearing about the different parts of Italy and made me feel as if this is a place I would love to visit.

A lovely book which was like a travelogue with great descriptions of Italy along with food and wine. The writing was fluid and storyline sweet. A lovely read.

TA Williams is a go-to author for me when I need a fun, feel good escape read. This book was no exception!  It was a perfect quarantine read. I loved Emma and Mark, and I couldn't put the book down! And...THAT COVER! :) This book definitely made me dream of Italy!

I really loved this book!  It was an escape to some places I've been before, and other places I'm going to visit after reading the sumptuous descriptions in this book!  It makes you want to board a plane right NOW.  A great escape during the quarantine.  
I also thought the plot was very good.  In some romance books, I feel like the author was searching for a plot in order to get the characters together, but in this case, the plot was something I enjoyed reading.  I'd love to be a location scout for movies myself!

TA Williams books are always a great way to escape into a new world and find yourself desperate to visit in person to see all the places he describes so vividly.
Emma has to discover locations for Hollywood films which sounds like the perfect job. She has the script and expert guides on hand and you love hearing she's found the perfect spot for the scenes.
She's taken the bosses son along, who has had his fair share of problems, and you imagine that could be problematic. But it's lovely to see her take him under her wing and see him blossom.
Of course there is the wonderful black labrador, who appears in every book and is such a delight.
Italy is high on my list of places to visit and it was wonderful to feel as though you'd been on a trip whilst we are under lockdown.
I am always so excited when I see a new release, as you are guaranteed a lovely read. He is one of my favourite authors.

I love the Dreaming of .... books written by TA Williams. Actually I more than live the MM, I read and reread them!

Dreaming of Italy is another gorgeous story, that provides much needed escapism to Italy during to Covid 19.

Dreaming of Italy is the type of story that would definitely be a dream come true scenario in reality. Emma goes to Italy for work to scout movie locations. Her journey encompasses the beauty, charm and delight of Italy. Emma might find more than a location, if she's lucky. This story is a modern entertaining romcom that is really a lot of fun to read. It's not stressful or annoying like real life. Grab a cup of coffee and this book, and take a little time out to read and relax. It's perfect for that!

Emma goes to Italy to find unique places for a new blockbuster that her company are making. She meets historical adviser Mark who is to help with the locations as the film is set in 1914 just before the second world war

I love this author. He’s one of my favourites. This book was fabulous. Lovely feel good romance. In an idyllic setting. The book was a joy to read. Very well written. Sucks you right in. You can feel your there . Which is what we all need just now in lockdown

Italy shimmers as romance blooms.

One of the high points of a T A Williams book is the gorgeous setting but I do think he has excelled himself this time. Not content with setting his novels in one beautiful Italian place, he has given us a whole tour of the country and it sounds stunning. I particularly enjoyed the story within a story format we have this time. Emma is researching places for the filming of a new film, Dreaming of Italy, so parallel to Emma's story, you also get the storyline her party are following.

Emma and Mark both have things to come to terms with. Mark has a slightly mysterious past. Emma has spent her whole adult life being focussed on her career to the exclusion of everything else. They both have decisions to make. They aren't the only couple with decisions to make. There are other romances blooming in the Italian countryside. I was waiting for an adorable labrador to make an entrance and she did not disappoint. Food and water, as always, turned out to be this ladrador's passions. All I can say is- where next?

Hollywood film executive Emma is told she has to go and tour Italy as a location scout for a new blockbuster movie “Dreaming Of Italy” and not only that, she has to babysit her bosses son Richard, who is recently out of rehab.

Marina and Mark both work in Italy as fixers, and it’s their job to take Emma and Rich around the country  showing them possible locations, that would fit the movie storyline, however, Mark is a distraction that career-driven Emma doesn’t need right now, but she soon finds herself torn between career and heart.

I have been a fan of TA Williams now for a little while, and none of his books ever disappoint the reader. His descriptions draw you in, and are completely and utterly believable, soon you can smell the wild rosemary growing on the roadside as the characters drive past from location to location, and you very quickly become absorbed in the story, and you are genuinely interested in the characters and how their lives pan out.

Another true gem and a story that once I started I couldn’t put down!!

This is such a wonderful read that will have you dreaming of sunshine and blue skies. 

Emma is delighted to have been given the opportunity to head to the fantastic country of Italy, to try and scout out the perfect scenes for the latest movie from her Hollywood film production company that she works for. 

This film is said to be a Hollywood blockbuster and Emma is determined to prove that she is more that capable of doing the task she has been set. If she does well with the then it could mean a big promotion for her and the job of her dreams. 

She has been asked to take Richard along with her. Richard is the son of her her boss and Emma has been asked to show him the ropes so he can have a good idea of what Emma does. 

When the pair of them arrive they are met by Marina who is to be their tour guide while in Italy, showing them all of the sites they could need for the movie. 

They are also joined on their journey through Italy by the incredibly handsome historian, Mark. 

As the foursome head through the idyllic surroundings of Italy Emma feels she is falling for Mark. This is not a distraction she needs during this time as she needs to concentrate on her work. It does however become clear the more time they spend the more difficult this will become. 

At the end of their trip with decisions to be made, will Emma decide to go with her heart or her head?

This is such a wonderful read that will take on a scenic journey as you follow the group through Italy. 

It is clear as you read just how important the Emma's job is to her and why she is so determined to get her promotion. You also see why she would be keen to keep Mark at arms length to keep her focused. This does become difficult at times for her. 

Mark obviously has had some heartache in his past, as at times there are things that he does not want to share with Emma. I do love the relationship he has with his faithful dog too.

 I enjoyed getting to know all of the characters from within this book. They all play a part in the romance for Emma and Mark but also bring some of their own issues too. 

The setting of this book sounds exquisite and does give you a real insight into the history of the areas of Italy they visited. 

This book is the perfect read for some escapism at the moment meaning you can travel and experience all that Italy has to offer without leaving your own home. 

This is a great addition to the collection from T.A. Williams.

Emma lives in Los Angeles and is sent by her boss to scout out locations for their newest romantic film which they are predicting is going to be huge. 

Emma takes the bosses son Richard with her, and they have a tour guide and a historian meet them in Italy. 

They travel around the coast looking for locations for the film, and Emma and Mark start to develop feelings for each other. 

Fantastic book, ive read every book that this author has wrtten, it  blows my mind that he is a man because they are so romantic and charming. 

As long as he keeps writing i will keep reading. Solid 5 stars.

We begin this book in a  novel (;)) and mesmerising way: a seeming play of two lives separated and oh my wow I was in!!

I will admit from the start I was looking to find the romantic connection in this book and set about deciding who the love interest was. This led me to the analysis of a great cast and of course the intriguing sub plot of the actual film and its actors. The imagery and scenery as they looked for locations was breathtaking, both the mountains and coast blew me away as did the food, the history and the romance of course!!

There’s something very settling about the continuing presence of the lovely and brilliant T A Williams’ books on this blog and I got a shock on hearing that this was the last of the ‘Dreaming of’ books, but there’s another series coming instead, firstly, and secondly I’ve a load of his books on my Kindle that I haven’t gotten to yet so phew, crisis averted! This is my first book from this author and it won’t be my last.
While I’m stuck in the confines of my home it wasn’t hard to be swept away to Italy in this delightful, lighthearted read! .
This is the second book I’ve read about Italy recently and I think I definitely need to start planning a visit to all the wonderful destinations they talk about! 
It’s safe to say I really am Dreaming of Italy! 🥰

5☆ Heart Warming, Scrumptious, Enchanting, the perfect read for a lil bit of Escapism 

Firstly I just want to say whenever I pick up a book by Trevor i know for sure I'm about to escape to a lil bit of paradise. This time round Trevor has transported me to Northern Italy and I can't thank him enough. I really needed this right now!

Emma heads to Northern Italy to do research on the best idyllic places to film a brand new film..."Dreaming of Italy"
Historian Mark accompanies Emma as a guide to help show her around. But the more time Emma spends with devilishly handsome Mark, the more he is capturing her heart! 
But can she mix business with pleasure?
Or is she set for a heartbreak disaster! 

I just have to give an extra special shout out to Carmen the adorable fur baby. Trevor's books ALWAYS feature labradors so if you love books with fur babies you won't be disappointed!

Dreaming of Italy is a scrumptious, heart warming, Enchanting story of romance, stunning locations, new beginnings, discovery, change and falling in love.
The characters are superbly written, the male characters are swoon worthy, all very different yet very charming.
Trevor is an extremely talented Author and one of my all time favourites, if you haven't yet, had the pleasure of reading one of his books....I highly recommend you do!

So if you are looking for the perfect book that will transport you to a stunning location, provide the perfect bit of escapism, loveable characters and a heart warming Romance, then pick up a copy, I can't recommend....Dreaming of Italy Enough!

A travel novel in the guise of a romance story, I was unable to put down this novel.

The ease with which the author describes the Italian countryside only makes this reader wish he had the time and money with which to follow the characters journey. If it were possible to close my eyes and read this story, I would...note to self, get audio version! The descriptions contained within are only equalled by one other author I know.

This is the story of how a woman married to her job is taken around Italy, scouting out locations for a film to be set in the country. Along the way, she encounters 'the one' of course, though things are never easy. Filled with beautifully written and fleshed out characters, I am really becoming a big fan of this author.

As we can't travel at the moment, then I would urge you (even without this) to purchase this novel and go on holiday with some of the best writing and story telling I've come across for a while.
