I personally heard about the Keto diet before but I have never tried to follow that diet. Eventhough I do not follow a keto diet I was really interested in this book and I have to say, that I quite enjoyed the recipes!

I use this cookbook almost daily. I love that chaffles is something that can be had for breakfast or dessert. The possibilities are endless and this book really helps you see that!

What are chaffles, you ask? Cheese waffles--made of only eggs and cheese. Why would you eat that? To not eat carbs. Can you buy them? You probably have to make them in your waffle maker. Still with me? OK. This book contains 75 variations on this theme--some for main courses, others desserts. If you are doing a low-carb diet of some kind, this will definitely give you some ideas for variety.

I really enjoyed this recipe book for Chaffles. Chaffles are the latest rage in Keto cooking and I was intrigued about the possibilities. There were so many great ideas in this book, and turns out there's a chaffle for every mood or craving you might have. This recipe book inspired me to finally buy a waffle iron so I could try out all the recipes.

I really liked this book. Martina Slajerova does not disappoint with her Keto books. I found most recipes to be easy to make a delicious.

This is the a lovely recipe book for those who love sweet treats but also are following the keto diet. I also has a number of enticing recipes for those with a more savoury taste.

Martina Šlajerová’s Sweet & Savory Keto Chaffles is an excellent cookbook filled with great low-carb recipes using cheese waffles to create a variety of snacks and sandwiches. I love the simple but bright pictures as well as the included nutritional values. These creative recipes are easy to follow and I love the helpful cooking tips.

Chaffles or cheese waffles are trendy and simple keto waffles containing mostly eggs and cheese. I really appreciate that Šlajerová gives readers a clear but brief overview of chaffles. She also provides helpful tips for chaffle making like the best cheeses and sweeteners to use as well as information about allergy swaps.

The book features both savoury and sweet base recipes that you can use to create all the featured recipes. I had no idea chaffles or even waffles in general could be so versatile and yummy! The recipes are very creative and I especially like that Šlajerová gives us both sweet and savoury recipes.

Some of the delicious recipes include lasagna chaffle bake, spanakopita chaffles, chaffle corn dogs, and a club chaffle sandwich! Or, if you’re hankering for something sweet, try snickerdoodle chaffles, chaffle donuts, pumpkin-spiced latte chaffles, or even s’mores chaffles with homemade keto marshmallows! I also love that the book gives us other great homemade keto recipes like no-churn vanilla ice cream, strawberry jelly, and caramel to deliciously enhance your sweet chaffles!

The recipes are simply written but well-detailed and easy to follow. The dishes also seem very approachable for all cooking levels. If you’re brand new to keto, this book might not be for you. However, this will be a perfect addition to any keto devotee’s collection. The recipes do require several specialty ingredients which are pantry staples for avid keto followers. I really love that each recipe also comes with detailed nutrition facts as well as information on serving size, hands-on time, and overall time.

I love the book’s simple, clean, and bright layout. The no-frills design makes it easy to focus on the recipes. I really appreciate that every recipe has a full-colour picture. However, a few are a bit small. Some pictures are also a little generic and I couldn’t immediately see how they reflected the recipes.

Sweet & Savory Keto Chaffles is a fantastic cookbook with creative recipes and great pictures. I can’t wait to get out my waffle iron and start cooking!

The recipes do seem really good to try. Good balance of sweet and savory depending on what you like. You do get nutritional information for each if you do keep track of that.

Keto Chaffles adds interest to a low carb diet. The recipes in this book are varied and include old favourites like Avocado Chaffles and Jelepeno Popper Chaffles. But there are really inteesting twists and unusual flavours Cinnamon Roll Chaffles (why is this interesting you ask? Well because a chaffle is a cheese waffle, who would have though cheese lemon and poppy seed would go together).

This book will certainly add a bit of sparkle to a low carb diet.

Waffles on a Keto diet hello!! I have needed this book forever! My son regularly follows a Keto diet and I sometimes struggle to keep his meals interesting. This book has helped no end. Sweet for a treat and savory as a side this book has it all. Recipes are simple to follow and have so far given great results. I received an advance copy of this book in exchange for an unbiased review but I will certainly be purchasing a copy that will no doubt become splattered and worn with over use as all good recipe book are.

This is an absolute MUST for the Keto dieter!! This is especially handy and needed for the beginner keto dieter! This is the only book you'll need for Chaffles! Bravo!

Sweet & Savory Keto Chaffles by Martina Slajerovo

For someone on the Keto diet this would be a fun book to have on their cookbook shelf. The photographs are gorgeous, and the ingredients put together to create the recipes sound divine. I was salivating as I read through the book wishing I could find the ingredients where I live. Some items are just harder to find in a small village in the country of Lebanon.

The basic recipes are given in the beginning with the best cheeses for making chaffles. Additional ingredients are added in some recipes but the basic recipes are easily made if you can find almond or coconut flour and protein powder – the items I cannot find here – to add to baking powder, cheeses, specified fat, seasonings and sweeteners.

Nutritional values for each recipe are provided and that was…interesting. I also found the creativity in use of chaffles to create such an array of dishes intriguing. This is definitely a book that those following this diet would enjoy having at home and I can see purchasing it as a gift for Keto diet following friends.

Absolutely loved this! Keto recipes are so easy to seem repetitive for me, but this book was full of incredible ideas, yummy treats and great photos to go with it! I’ll be using this for a long time!

This is such an excellent resource to get theee perfect chaffle. I have tried a few recipes online and have always ended up with soft waffles (or hard waffles that were inedible). This book provides the answer on how to achieve that perfect crispy waffle texture.

Also, I love love love that she also has sweet waffle recipes included as well. The birthday cake & s’mores recipe have caught my eye and is definitely on my list to make soon. The majority of the recipes in this book aren’t your basic run of the mill keto recipes either; they are decadent yet simple. I have so many recipes bookmarked for me to make, I’m just looking for the time to make all of them.

This is not the first time trying out recipes from the author. I have tried several recipes from her website ketodietapp.com and, just like her blog, the one’s in this book didn’t disappoint.

I was so intrigued by this cookbook! Although I do not follow a keto diet, I always enjoy looking at new recipes and am intrigued by chaffles as a starch replacement. I love that almond flour is the base (and plan to also try chickpea flour). I look forward to trying many recipes including Spanakopita chaffles, Snickerdoodle chaffles, and Lemon Poppy Seed chaffles.

Keto or cutting down on carbs or gluten? Craving a sweet blueberry muffin, a savory pepperoni pizza or lasagna but not the carbs they typically have? Then, the Sweet and Savory Keto Chaffles cookbook is for you.

These are not your grandma's waffles. They emulate many of the flavors missing from a low carb diet. Some of the savory Chaffles include sloppy joe, Reuben sandwich and Eggs Benedict. The sweet ones are unusual with pumpkin pie and tiramisu flavored Chaffles too.

The one disadvantage is you have to have a waffle iron to make these delicious sounding recipes. Once you dig yours out of your garage or attic, you're set. Every recipe has a color photograph and complete nutritional information. Explanations are provided to avoid other allergens too. Overall, Sweet and Savory Keto Chaffles is a tasty option for those Keto lovers or carb deniers out there. 4 stars!

My partner and son decided they were going to eat Keto so when I saw this book on NetGalley I felt a need to take a look. Never heard of Chaffles before? Nope, me either until now. A cross between a waffle and a churro I guessed. Regardless, very yummy!

With a huge range of recipes of all types, there is something in here for everyone, of any age. The keto way of life has become more popular but often people don't realise that "treats" and sweet foods can be included. It's not as boring as people may believe. So cookbooks like this are a breath of fresh air when you have been craving something you once ate before going keto. When you do keto properly your body goes into "ketosis" and this is when the body starts burning up fat stores basically. It's not for everyone but it can be excellent for your health and weight loss.

A really nice book, fabulous range of recipes and easy to read and follow. Highly recommended if you need that sweet keto fix, in fact even if not on keto living, try making some anyway! Great for those doing low-carb also.

As a chaffle novice, I found this book very helpful! The beginning provides a basic overview about chaffles. There are tips on producing the best quality chaffles, cooking techniques, and tools to use. There is a small section dedicated to sauces you might use on the chaffles. The main book is broken down into sweet and savory chaffles, and there is a great variety for anyone to eat. There are nutrition facts, which I found helpful, and tips for making various recipes vegan, dairy free, and so on.

Overall I found this easy to read and the recipes were simple to follow. I will be giving some of these tasty recipes a try!
