A very sweet and enchanting story which will resonate with every one who have a passion for reading.
The premise and the way book is written is very beautiful. It is like a bookaholic thought of all her dreams and wrote about a world where those dreams do come true.At few points in the story, Hallie's character as 35 year old doesn't seem believable. It feels more like somebody in their 20's maybe.
But still the simplicity of the book and the story makes you forget to reason more and just enjoy the events where dreams do come true no matter how bookish they are.

I would definitely read more books from this author.

I feel like I just returned from the most amazing little trip to the sweetest town and bookshop after finishing this book. First off - this was ADORABLE. Hallie and Dmitri are so cute and I just could not get enough of them!

Hallie has lived a super unlucky life! Everywhere she goes bad luck seems to follow. She finds out she's the winner of her favorite bookshop and she decides to start a new life as a bookshop owner! I LOVED this! I didn't realize how much I also want to own a bookshop hahaha this story just makes it seem so perfect and I need that in my life.

Hallie meets a wonderful man, Dmitri, who helps her with the bookshop and of course an adorable romance ensues! I loved reading about their blossoming love and the exciting discoveries they make while working in the bookshop!

I was so impressed by this book. The writing was great, story was sweet, there were some interesting twists and turns, I enjoyed the characters a lot!! Really there were no negatives to this. If you love stories about books/bookshops and cute fluffy romances then this is for you!! Prepare to have your heart filled with love and happiness 💟

4 1/2 stars (because it was a bit rambly in the beginning).

This book was so cute! Hallie and Dimitri were so perfect for each other, I couldn't stand the cuteness between them.

Hallie receives the gift of a bookshop from Robert, who's retiring from owning/managing Once Upon a Page. As she loves books, this is the perfect job for her, but she soon realizes the bookshop is bad financial shape.

Dimitri shows up in the bookshop, all in his glorious awkwardness and clumsiness, and a beautiful friendship starts forming between these two. They feel the same about books and reading and some scenes between were just the best.

The ending was really, really cute, and I heartily recommend this clean romance.

I received a copy from the publisher through NetGalley and this is my honest opinion.

A nicely done book about changing fortunes, with good detail on how Hallie tries to work out how on earth to run a bookshop. My full review here

This book is a book readers dream come true! Every voracious reader dreams of owning his or her own book shop, to be among the smell of old pages and new faces. I just have to say that the direction this book took was brilliant. I loved Hallie and then Dimitri was her perfect other half. The way they worked together and fell in love along the way. Inspiring notes left inside covers of old books waiting to be found. I will be recommending this book to many readers!!

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book provided by NetGalley.

The Little Bookshop of Love Stories has been such an adorable and funny read! It gave me a lot of feels and I loved every chapter in this book.

Hallie Winstone has recently been fired from the restaurant she worked as a waitress due to an accident. She thought she was unlucky. her whole life until one day she received an email says that she won Once Upon A Page bookshop. She never thought she could be that lucky person because her whole life she never won anything. Hallie, a 35 year old book worm was really happy to own a new bookshop. Her dream came true.

I loved all characters except one. I loved the romance between Hallie and Dimitri. God, I fell in love with Dimitri and his personality. He’s a funny guy and adorable!

The plot was engaging and the pace was pretty fast. The writing style was really good. Every chapter has something about bookish and I can relate to it. The book reference that the author used in this book was really nice and I’m familiar with some of them.

Overall, this book really was a fun read to me. Thank you Netgalley and HQ Digital for sharing the ebook.

This book was a wonderful escape from the gloom and doom surrounding us at the moment and I read it all in one delightful day. I’ve always said that if I ever win the lottery the first thing I’d do is buy a bookshop so as soon as I read the blurb about Hallie winning one I was already sold! So many fantastic quotes about the joy of reading that I really did feel like I was with my tribe whilst reading and found myself laughing and nodding frequently. Just lovely!!

An easy to read romcom! Loved the characters and their stories from the start! Loved the fact the main character had such a love for books too! Definitely recommend it, and thank you netgalley for the copy.

Cute book but wayyyyy too long. I liked Hallie and Dimitri but sheesh so much extra text about his illustrations and every bit of their conversations. I skimmed most of the book because it was just too wordy.

When I first saw the cover of this book I just knew that it would be a kind of book i love to read, and was I right or what?! Thanx NetGalley for a chance to review this beauty!
This is a beautiful love story that will completely melt your heart. It will pull you in and make you feel a part of it.
The story is set in a bookshop which is one of my favourite places! All the characters are so well written and their love for books is so clear and so wonderful. I loved every moment of reading it. I was hooked from the beginning and i couldn't put it down. Book lovers will instantly relate to Hallie and Dmitri, their love of reading and the power of books. i can even say that this is a book lovers dream book!

Loved how you could really relate to Hattie, how her life has more ups than downs. How she is so so clumsy that she could fall over fresh air and begins to believe that her life is meaningless. But then a unexpected raffle win, sends her life upside down. She cannot believe her luck that something that she loves “Books”, could change her life for the better in more ways than one. This book shows how you can lose yourself in a story, how friendships are made over a cuppa and please don’t forget the biscuits. When you read the book this becomes clearer. You find that people are unexpected what you see isn’t all you get and your gut instinct is generally always right

This is a beautiful book! I felt like I was transported to the town of Buntingorden and was peering through the mermaid window display to catch a glimpse inside of Once Upon a Page. I was completely invested in the bookshop (can I own one now please?!), the characters, the relationship between Hallie and Dimitri and the love notes inside of the books. My favorite quote was, "books contain whole worlds to get lost inside" and that could not be more true. If you are a book lover, then this book is for you!!

I really loved this book and I can honestly say that I hesitated to finish this book because I loved it soo much. The characters are soo relatable. Being a book worm myself , I loved the concept of love between two people who share the passion for books The concept of the book was also beautiful. I have actually wondered about the messages in second hand books myself. I loved the writing style and I will definitely read more books by the author.

Thanks to Netgalley and the publishers for an advanced copy of this book.

I loved the characters in the book and all their quirks. Once Upon A Page is the perfect name for a bookshop and I visualised it to be like the little crooked bookshop in Canterbury that we visit from time to time.

It’s a really nice easy to read story but I found that by the middle of the book it was starting to become a little repetitive in parts and predictable. The romance between the two main characters develops very slowly so hence why the story seems to drag on.

Still worth a read if you like “book shop” reads.

I received an advanced copy of this book from the author and publisher through Net Galley in exchange for my review. And I'm so grateful for the chance with this book, because I feel like I may have found a new author to follow! I'm not usually one to read this style of book, I usually go for the mystery/suspense genre, but the description of this book just sounded so good, I wanted to take a chance with it, and I'm so grateful to have had the chance to read this book. I can see myself seeking out others by this author when I want to mix things up a bit with my usual reads. The characters were fun to get to know, well developed with not too much back story. I could relate to both Hallie and Dimitri's love of talking about books, I loved the fairy tale quality of the book store and the kindly old man who gave the store to Hallie. I loved the feeling that the bookstore would know what book you needed, when you needed it. I loved the scavenger hunt for books with messaged written inside. Hallie's mom was a bit much to take, but she also seemed very realistic, sadly!

And something else I really appreciated about this book - they fell in LOVE with each other, got to know each other's lives, had the awkward first hug and the anticipation of the first kiss. But didn't jump into bed. I think that's what takes away from the romance related genre's to me a lot of the time - the sex. Yeah, it's part of life, but it's so refreshing to read a love story without the clothes falling off. I like that I could hand this book off to my teenager daughter - or son - and not worry that they'd get an eyeful. (The bit about the dick pic/dic pic thing was funny too, and I might have fallen in love with Dimitri a bit on that one - so funny!) I felt like this was a really full, complete story, without the bedroom scene. I appreciate an author who is willing do cut if off there.

reading a book about books is the best thing ever like you are reading about characters who loves books as much as you do, who would rather read than go out and who roll their eyes every time someone ask them if they are single because they have very unrealistic expectations because of these very books.

I cannot tell how much i loved this book, at least not in words but I am going to try my best. Hallie is the most unluckiest girl ever and she has just been fired from a job. Again! But life takes a turn when she wins a bookstore "Once upon a Page" in a lottery along with a flat and she cannot believe her luck. But soon she realizes that even though it's her dream job, the bookstore is not doing good financially but with the love she have for books and with the help of a very handsome introvert illustrator she might get her happy ending.

Honestly, if i get an email saying that I have won a bookstore in a lottery and its mine, I will leave everything behind because that's literally my dream job ever. This book was full of sunshine and lots of bake goods but also filled with magic that books are.

Hallie and Dimitri were literally the cutest book worms ever and I cannot love them enough like they literally made me giggle and swoon with their clumsiness and well, cuteness. Also, i love how their was so much importance given to the second hand books and the notes written inside them. I love writing notes inside books and wishing that one day centuries apart someone will find that book and will get a glimpse of what life used to be. the most magical thing ever.

10/10 would reccomend.

This is a cute and lighthearted story. Things are not going well for Hallie, until she wins the ownership of a bookshop. Maybe not very realistic, but still a nice idea. She works on learning how to run the bookshop and fall in love along the way. Maybe a bit cheesy, but yet very enjoyable.

The Little Bookshop of Love Stories is a bookworm's dream. Hallie is never lucky in life. In fact, she's just lost her job... Again. She doesn't think her life will ever come together until she receives notice that she is the winner of the raffle to be the new owner of the Once Upon A Page bookstore in the Cotswolds. Talk about a change of luck, right!? This book is filled with bookish references that I ate right up. I loved the main characters and all their quirks. It does get a little repetitive in parts and a tad predictable, but I wouldn't have wanted this cozy bookish delight to be anything else. 3.5/5⭐️
