I really wanted this book, to try to teach myself how to switch off from work, and spend more time in parent mode, really being with my daughter and enjoying the moments we have. It is so hard to get the correct work/home balance, especially when you work from home. This book is really informative and useful. I plan to use some ideas I gained from it, to really help me find the perfect balance.

Being a parent is difficult enough, add a job into the mix and it can soon feel overwhelming. The constant juggling, the tiredness and exhaustion and the niggling feeling that you're not giving your all to the right areas of your life. ⠀

The Work/Parent Switch is written by an expert in child development and psychology who has worked with thousands of stressed-out working parents, the book walks you through an approach to parenting to help transform family life and can be fitted into modern working patterns. ⠀

It aims to help you to stop feeling guilty about being at work and give you the tools to create the family life you want to come home to. Split over three main parts:⠀
Meaningful Moments⠀
Calm Homes, Happy Family⠀
Balancing Wellbeing and Workload⠀

A book that will be referred to time and time again as each new challenge, disaster and occasion throws us off-kilter
