Brilliant book just as exciting as all the others. I couldn't put it down
The story of what happens to the flock and little Phoenix after they emerge from the bunker keeps you on the edge of your seat throughout the book.
What a world their new world is.

Alone in the City of the Dead, where life is precarious, lives a teenage girl called Hawk and her gang of friends who are trying their best to survive .
Then chaos begins as her friends are imprisoned and she must use her wits to rescue them,. Then in a twist of fate her life is turned upside down as she meets a man who claims to be her father. Soon Hawk comes to realise she isn’t the only one who can fly.
In a whirlwind she meets a group called the flock and is told her parents are alive. They need her help to rescue them and her friends. Can she do it? Can she rescue Maximum Ride and help change the City of the Dead?
This is a welcome return to Maximum Ride and her flock, but the addition of Hawk takes the books to a new level.
For kids or adults this is a book you will devour.
James Patterson truly is at the top his game with this story. No one can produce books of this quality at such a high standard as often as James Patterson seems to.
An absolutely marvellous novel by the best in the business. I loved it!

This is great for people who enjoy dystopian thrillers. I hadn't really realised it was a follow on from a previous series, but it didn’t stop me from really enjoying and engaging with this book. I think people will go back to that series while waiting for more HAWK

This is a fast-paced book that is great for people who enjoy dystopian thrillers. I hadn't realised it was a follow on from a previous series, but it is not necessary to read those. It will probably lead people to go back to that series while they are chomping at the bits for more Hawk!

Hawk by James Patterson is a book you will find near impossible to put down once you start. From the first sentence you are pulled in to the world and Hawks life that James has so cleverly crafted. As always with James's novels, the characters and plot are so vivid you feel as if you are in the book with Hawk,

A fast paced, exciting and mysterious read that will delight fans new and old.
