Cute and funny read! Very easy to get through and so adorable in terms of the meet cute, and run in between the two main characters. We see them easily be able to fall in love, Liam more smitten early on than Parker--but ever the gentleman. It was a cute book and love story.

I didn't really like it. The beginning was nice but it just didn't catch my interest as much as i hoped it would.

A cute, easy summer read. I loved the beginning, slightly boring in the middle and was sooo cheesy (but in a good way) at the end.

Pros: Loved the open discussion about mental health, Parker loving her mom but still struggling with her relationship with her. Both Park and Liam are realistic characters with real flaws and lives. There were no elicit scenes so safe for most audiences. I love Parker's choice of movies. Loved all the friend dates they went on. 

Cons: Parts felt like trying to do too much (like really how much can go wrong). I didn't love that Liam was there from moment one, it felt like too much for her to be dumped the day of her wedding and be helped by this stranger. Most of their intimate moments happened while under the influence of some substances. There were weird typos and misprints that made it hard to understand what was happening (like using Harpers name instead of Parkers). Some parts felt a little too perfect, and at the same time some parts were super loose ends (like what happens to Chris?)

Overall I enjoyed it but would probably be hesitant to recommend it to most audiences. You definitely have to be in the right mood (or maybe a teenager) to read this book.

I asked Netgalley for the ARC because i needed a romcom, something that would put a smile on my face and this story seemed perfect. I am not disappointed, i laughed a lot and totally melted for Liam our hero.

In the first chapter, Parker, just dumped at the altar by her douche fiancé, runs away and has an accident. She thinks she's dead, on the asphalt, with her wedding dress and God is talking to her... Of course she's alive and God is Liam, a stranger who saves her from this nightmare. He takes her to the hospital and after that... destiny plays its role... and they become friends... with attraction.

This first chapter hooked me, it was funny and fastpaced. Parker made me laugh a lot and Liam was already a sweetheart.
The first half of the book was a bit complicated for me... I loved seeing our heroes with their family and friends but maybe i would have liked to see Parker and Liam together more. I almost lost interest in their relationship.
The second half is better, they spend time together, we see their feelings grow, they face their personal issues, they help each other...
I didn't really understand the "come back" of the h's ex near the end, it was not really necessary, and the last chapter was a bit rushed but the ending and the epilogue were great, fairytales worthy.

Other issues : Parker's injury is forgotten too easily, same for Liam near the end. Are they superhuman? And ... maybe some comic elements were too much (cakes...). And their world is too small (Char's story for example or one of Harper's friend). And Liam is too kind for my liking with his father (and it didn't get enough development) but... That's Liam he's adorable and amazing.

Good things: Parker is the perfect auntie, i loved her relationship with her cute and funny nieces. She also has good taste in movies lol. Every second characters bring something to the story and made me laugh. That's not just a love story but a family story, friendship story. Our heroes' lives are not easy, that gives them some depth. No sex scene (yep no need). Liam, Liam, Liam... perfect Liam is perfect. A TRUE gentleman, the perfect boyfriend we all dream of! Yes i love Liam!

Overall i spent a real good time with this novel. It's a sweet romcom, a slow burn, friends to lovers funny story. It would make a good movie.

    Love Me Like You Do by Aimee Brown is a standalone contemporary romance novel, BUT does star a character from one of her past books, The Lucky Dress.  I want to make clear though, that it is a standalone story.  I didn't read The Lucky Dress, and I didn't need to to understand this story.  From what I can gather, there is very little, to no reference to The Lucky Dress.  Love Me Like You Do starts on the worst day of Parker's life, when she is literally running away from her wedding after her fiancee dumps her.  Then BAM!  She runs into Liam, a sexy, southern, new bar owning man who isn't having the best day himself.  A horrible blind date, a brokenhearted, angry bride, and a trip to the emergency room leads to two romantically damaged people to befriend each other ... and fall in love.


    I have to admit, this is the first ARC that I have read in a while that I truly enjoyed.  I didn't feel forced to finish it.  The plot wasn't overly original, but the writing was good, it had me literally laughing out loud, and smiling, and the characters were likable.  This romance was very innocent to what I usually prefer (which I know now is Aimee Brown's preference), but I didn't mind overall.  I was invested in Parker and Liam's story, and I didn't need the physical intimacy to tell me they were into each other.  The people in each of their lives were equally entertaining, and I didn't feel bored when Liam and Parker were not together, which, I find happens more often then not in a lot of books.  My only issue is that I felt the last third of the book was kind of rushed.


    I really liked Parker.  She's feisty and sweet,and adorable in a way that isn't annoying.  Her obvious love for her family is endearing, and even when she was pushing Liam away, I totally got it.  I wasn't annoyed by it.  She was left at the alter.  I think it's fair that she has some trouble letting herself fall in love again.  Liam is a total sweetheart.  Strong, smart, and he goes for what he wants.  Totally swoon-worthy material.  The side characters were just as interesting!  Liam's estranged father, wanting to get to know his son before dying, and introduce him to his teenage daughter was an interesting arc.  Liam with a little sister is all kinds of adorable.  Parker's family was even more interesting.  Her dynamic with her nieces is adorable. I enjoyed that Aimee Brown didn't shy away from the harsh reality of having a sick mother (schizophrenia, with onset dementia).  As society gets more accepting of those with mental illness, there is still sadly a stigma to it.  Aimee gets points with me for not only mentioning that when Parker was younger, she suffered from anxiety and needed to be medicated, but to write a character with schizophrenia.  


   Love Me Like You Do is a cute, often humorous, little romance.  It's not just two people falling in love.  It's a little sliver in life, showing that it's not all rainbows and gumdrops, yet despite the reality of broken hearts and disappointment, one can overcome that, and open their heart to something truly beautiful.  If you prefer "closed door" romance, with a bit of a soulmate feel to it, you will love this book.

This was a nice, quick, fun summer read! The characters are likeable and relatable, and they deal with issues outside of just the romance -- even though the romance was wonderful, too!

This was a cheesy romance that made for an enjoyable read. It wasn't anything spectacular, but it allowed me to turn my brain off and relax for a few hours.

I think if you enjoy contemporary romance this could be for you.

I think I fell for the pretty cover. Everything about this is cheesy and not in a good way. The dialogue was a bit weird and was written in such a way that made it difficult to keep track of who was speaking at times. The plot was lacking. The characters felt very one-dimensional. This read like a draft and not a finished product.

I have read a book on the rainy Sunday afternoon and the book was just perfect. It was witty, friendly, warm.I would definitely recommend it to other people! Fantastic read!

This book is different, in that the author tackles difficult issues such as mental illness and women's insecurities while realizing they are really bad ass.

The author Aimee Brown, also does not shy away from using real language, so if you are delicate in reading swear words, move along, although I warn you, you will be missing out on experiencing a great book and phenomenal author.

I think my favorite characters are Char and Parker's mom. I am so glad that Liam found his happily ever after. I will also never think of naps in the same way ever again!

We meet Parker on the best and worst day of her life. Her wedding day, she flees after being stood up by her groom and is saved from nearly being run over by a car by the lovely and gorgeous Liam. They become firm friends but it sounds like they need their heads knocking together as they seem perfect for each other. Parker has a lot going on in her life with being a nurse in an ER and her mother being poorly. Liam is the owner of a bar and has George who’s a crazy sounding dog (but also gorgeous!) 

I loved Millie and Charlotte, they are fabulous and hilarious all at the same time. However my favourite character is Parker, she’s determined and fantastic as she also wants to volunteer to help with medical care in Costa Rica. It would have been great to see more of Liam’s relationship with his dad but it seems like they made a lot of progress. 

It’s easy to lose yourself in this story so it’s perfect escapism into fairytales with also a layer of the more serious issues. This is my first discovery of Aimee’s writing and it won’t be the last time I escape into one of her stories. I give ‘Love Me Like You Do’ 4*/5* 😊

Curl on your sofa with a glass of wine and enjoy a Saturday afternoon with Aimee Brown’s new love Story Love Me Like You Do: an emotional story of love and finding yourself it is short sweet and fun. It reminded of a Saturday night Hallmark movie which yes, I will admit I LOVE. Brown asks the big questions: what is love, what is family, what is friendship? Then what are you willing to do for love, family and friendship? Take a minute and ask yourself these questions too.

Enjoy the ride with these fully developed even flawed characters.

This book starts when Parker is broken up with on her wedding day. As she’s running away from the wedding, dress and all, she gets hit by a car. Liam helps her and gets her to a hospital and a relationship develops from there. For those of you who are verrryyy cheesy romantic, this might be the book for you. I personally didn’t find it realistic that an adult woman would be so obsessed with princesses and finding her perfect Prince Charming. 

It’s romantic, but not super steamy, so if you lean more toward the smut, this might not be enough for you. 

There was mental health representation, which was nice. Parker’s mom is diagnosed with bipolar and has started a battle with dementia.

This was a cute, humorous romcom book. Nothing in depth in the story-line, but it was a fast poolside read. I loved Liam and his knight in shining armor qualities. It made up for Parker, who wasn't as likable to me with her indecision's throughout the book and she seemed whiny to me.

This book was great! I loved the relationship and the connection within the story. I read it in one sitting, which has been hard during this pandemic. Once I was reading I needed to know what was going to happen.

This book starts off with a bang, pretty literally, and doesn't slow down. The plot keeps up a good pace throughout the whole book. There were times I found myself laughing out loud because of the banter between the characters. I loved the serendipitous relationship between Liam and Parker, and it reminded me of the movie Crazy Stupid Love. 

Liam. Liam Jaxson. He may be my new favorite male love interest. He had the whole package. Seriously. He owned a bar, had a southern accent, rescued a dog, and was a total gentleman. Let's not forget Parker. Parker was an amazing female lead. Even after going through heartbreak and trying to find herself, she never lost her sense of humor, and I admired her personality greatly.

This was a light fun read perfect for summer, but even though it was light and fun it still had complex family relationships that made the book relatable. Throughout the story we saw absent family members, and parents with mental health issues. Overall, this was a fantastic book. I recommend it to anyone that loves a good romantic comedy, and for fans of R. S. Grey, and Sophie Kinsella.

This book was an absolute delight to read!. 
The story was full of laugh out loud moments, and moments that really pulled at your heartstrings. 
The characters were so wonderfully brought to life throughout the book, making them all the more endearing. 
This was a perfect read and I found myself finishing it in one day!. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who loves a good romantic comedy as this book is just perfection!.

Love Me Like You Do by Aimee Brown a five-star read that kicks off with a bag. This was a sweet and romantic story that will whisk you away and make you want to run away from it all, hopefully not to get into an accident. I am a huge fan of serendipitous encounters and this one does them so well. We all know the heart wants what the heart wants, but just because you know something doesn’t mean its easy to understand. Liam is just the most adorable character, they all have a part to play in the story and each one will bring something different, but Liam just brings something special. Do not miss this sublime story, I do plan on going back to check out the Lucky Dress as I adored the writing style.

I would gladly adopt George and give him a few pillows for him to chew.

It's been a while since I have been left satisfied by a book. The characters were likeable and funny, I loved their interactions as I knew there would be moments that would make me chuckle. Charlotte was refreshing to the plot, she embodies the stereotypical teenage girl and bought back nostalgic memories of preaching teen magazines.

This book addresses darker subjects that gives an element of depth. It delves into the responsibilities and pressures that are placed on individuals as parents age- where as the years progress, roles are reversed. I thought it was depicted well and really showed some of the struggles that are experienced.

One thing that I was disappointed about was towards the end [spoiler] where Parker and Becker go on their volunteering job together. I would of liked to see the development of their relationship albeit with a pinch of salt. Instead, the significance of this scene was kind of brushed over where there were many questions that I was confused about.

I didn't like how things moved fast between them. Parker just broke up with her fiance and Liam is making moves on her. Not too mention how cheesy and unrealistic is Parker's obsession with princesses and finding Prince Charming. I was turned off immediately. Neither character interest me and the story lacked depth.
