What a fabulous and fun read. Very easy to love protagonist Robin and her roller coaster love story. I dont want any spoilers, but I'm happy Aunt Fliss earned her badge! Definitely a book you should read for a heartwarming time.

Robyn Bloom is heartbroken. She believed that Ash Barnes was the love of her life, until he suddenly upped and left her, disappearing to Australia where he moved on rather too quickly. After months of upset and moping, she comes up with the idea of setting up a new club for herself, her friends and the people of her village. And so, The Never Have I Ever Club was born.

The Never Have I Ever Club creates opportunities for Robyn and her friends that many of them didn't think possible. Bucket lists start to be ticked off, and people are trying new things. However there is one problem; Will Barnes. Ash's twin brother, and Robyns next door neighbour, Will is the local doctor and he is keen to ensure his patients are able to get involved with the club - it gives many of his elderly patients a reason to get out and socialise, but it also gives him a chance to see Robyn. After growing up together, he has missed her since the big break up. Unfortunately, he didn't realise how much he missed her until he starts spending time with her again...

I loved the premise of this novel. The Never Have I Ever Club is such an amazing idea, bringing together different generations and making them really think about what they want to achieve from their lives. Of course I love a bit of romance with some twists and turns - identical twin brothers certainly gives us that! This is a great, easy read novel. I really enjoyed following Robyn's story, she's a great character - in fact she's one of many great characters! I am more than happy to recommend this to you all - grab yourself a glass of wine and get stuck in!

This book was compared to Bridget Jones’ Diary so I was so excited because I really needed a good laugh.

This story featured Robyn Bloom, who was trying to get her groove back after her boyfriend Ash broker her heart and moved away to Australia where he hooked up with a much younger version of Robyn. She was devastated since she was hoping that he would put a ring on it.

Robyn and her girls came up with an idea for a support club to encourage themselves to go out there and live their best lives. They began meeting and trying to have fun and not be old fogeys. As Robyn starting putting the pieces of her life back together, she found herself getting closer and closer to her ex boyfriend’s twin brother Will. Will is part of the friend circle along with Freya, Eliot and they were the best parts of this book. The witty banter made me smile a bit and it was entertaining.

However, this book dragged for me. It was unnecessarily verbose and it took away from my enjoyment. I did enjoy the gradual development of Rob and Will’s relationship. It didn’t feel like a rebound because the author built a solid friendship. It was pretty clear were this friendship was headed but of course runaway twin Ash returns to reclaim his place in Rob’s life. I enjoyed this “triangle” especially since I was pretty sure I knew how it would end.

This book was cute but I wouldn’t consider it that funny. I smiled/chuckled maybe 4-5 times but I did think that the book’s pace was too slow at times. For my first book by this author, it was okay. I will definitely check another one out in the future.

This was a brilliant read. Packed with cute moments, big stumbling blocks and belly laugh, with great side characters. This was a great heartfelt read that was genuinely funny but with some beautiful heart felt moments!

I had such fun reading this book! It was full of laughter and good times. It was hard not to have a smile on your face when reading this book! It was a perfect beachy summer read.

DNF at 20% for a second time. This isn't holding my attention after trying to read the beginning for the second time. It's probably a me thing but I just don't care about Robyn or her situation or her club.

OH Robyn, its never a good idea to fall for your ex's brother....especially not his twin! But that's just what seems to be happening here as Robyn struggles to get over her boyfriend whose unexpected departure from her life leaves her reeling. This is one where you'll think of Robyn as your friend or sister and you will want to jump in and give her advice and help her along....but you've got to just hang on and let her fly!

I don’t know why it’s taken me so long to get to this book. It certainly is a book that you won’t want to put down. I loved all the characters and where this book took me. A lovely read.

I really liked the beginning of this book, and I was rooting for Robyn and Will to get together. But once Will's twin brother (and Robyn's ex) Ash came back into the picture, the whole thing felt a bit off. Before, you knew Will and Ash were identical twins because the book never lets you forget that important fact, but it had a rather minor impact on the story as a whole. After he comes back, however, certain things happen that just ruined the entire romance between Will and Robyn for me. The author dug a hole so deep, the romance never had a chance to crawl out of it, no matter how many cringey moments Ash had a hand in creating.

Maybe the book could've been saved by the side characters, but between the best friend who's lusting after Will and the elderly characters' lives used for laughs without much empathy, every aspect of this book just fell short by the end of it.

Absolutely loved this book, and the way it unfolds. It's another funny winner from this author, with a whole lot of heart. Every book I read, I fall in love a little more. A fantastic way to spend a weekend.

This was such fun, a great premise for a story with a twin triangle and lots of humour. I read it in one sitting as the story trips along at a good pace with a lots of engaging characters and situations. Great holiday read when you want something a little deeper than pure chick lit - there are some challenging back stories.

With plenty of humour and fun within the book, this was a quick and easy read that I really enjoyed. I especially loved the character of Will - I thought he seemed like the perfect gent - although it did annoy me sometimes at just how much he sacrificed to keep other people happy.

Ash seemed misunderstood to me. Yes, he had made some bad decisions but at the end of the book, you see that it didn't really matter after all when the main characters all come to a particular realisation.

Aunt Fliss was one of my favourite characters, she sounded so wonderful and a great person for Robyn to have in her life - in stark contrast to her quite frankly annoying and overbearing mother.

I especially loved the idea of the Never Have I Ever Club - it brought together a variety of characters that otherwise wouldn't spend time with her and gave them the opportunity to try something they never had before.

I'll certainly be reading more from this author if they are all like this.

This story follows Robyn (35) and her enmeshed toxic relationship with two identical twin brothers whom she’s known since childhood. Ash broke Robyn’s heart and left for Australia where he’s dating a woman ten years younger than him. Robyn has been avoiding the other brother Will but they live in a small English village so their paths eventually meet in the very cringe-inducing beginning. Will is a doctor and Robyn mistakenly has an appointment with him for a pelvic exam which is apparently not an ethical issue for some reason?

Robyn and Will reconnect but then Ash dumps his girlfriend and returns from Australia with his mind set to winning Robyn back. Despite Will having grown closer to Robyn in Ash’s absence, Will is always loyal to Ash and agrees to help without considering Robyn’s feelings in the matter. Despite Robyn’s hatred for Ash, she is often mixing the two brothers up. Ash even impersonates Will to force Robyn into talking to him which she figures out eventually.

The titular club of this story is more of a side plot to force Robyn and her love triangle into random situations. The POV switched between the three characters, but I often found myself confused by which perspective we were meant to be in. There wasn’t much inner dialogue about the character’s feelings.

The weird thing is that I think Ash had the right idea all along. Robyn and the brothers were weirdly enmeshed in a toxic way. I wasn’t rooting for anyone as I just felt like they all needed to get away from each other and stand on their own.

Robyn and Will were set up like a forbidden love with Will helping Ash try to win Robyn despite his own feelings. Both Robyn and Will repeat how they can’t possibly ever be together but it seemed inevitable. Also Will kept calling Robyn a “cow” in what I think was meant to be an affectionate way but I found it really jarring to interpret that he wasn’t insulting her.

All in all I just wanted Robyn and the twins to go on separate vacations to different corners of the globe and figure themselves out first.

I enjoyed reading The Never Have I Ever Club, it was a new topic not covered in other books I’ve read. The characters were well described and fun to read.

Unfortunately, I really struggled with the twin element. Stories that include dating brothers/sisters of an ex are always difficult to engage with for me as I just can’t fully get on board with the romance. Dating the twin brother of the guy who dumped you is just too hard for me to believe. I’m sure there are people who do this, but I couldn’t connect with the book for this reason.

Despite this, I loved the writing style of the author and will definitely read future books!

There are two things I love for my books.... British dialog and romcom! The Never Have I Ever was a super light hearted fun book to read. Mary Jayne Baker did a good job filling the pages with laugh out loud moments that had me finish this book super quick!

This book is a funny and sweet read. I would recommend for someone looking for something a bit light-hearted. Loved the British humour.

This book was a cute, quick and easy read. The words flowed nicely and the story was a good pace. The topic was weird. Identical twins which one do you love? But it was well done.

The story of Robyn who is trying to get over her ex Ash, difficult when she lives next door to his identical twin!

I liked how it also told sections of the book from different points of view.

I have to say I enjoyed the book much more than I thought I would!

Wasn’t a huge fan of this one and had a hard time making it through to the end. I appreciated some of the funny banter and conversation between characters at times, but otherwise, the overall plot was hard to follow and not all that entertaining.
