This book is full of useful information and is easy to understand. I recommended it to my son who has also since bought and found it useful.

This is a curious book that contains mainly case studies of how the author and others, known as the New Rich, have been able to reduce their work week and increase their income from passive sources.

It covers things such as outsourcing tasks to virtual assistants, passive incomes, reducing news consumption, looking at e-mails less plus more ideas. It has many case studies and sometimes feels like the authors own travelogue of where they have been.

Its a book that needs to be read in stages to get the most out of each step, though certain jobs you cannot outsource your work, so it won't work for all in employment. It contains lists of websites that readers could use for incomes or help, with a brief overview of what they do. Whilst its figures are in dollars the ideas can be used in any country.

I received this book from netgalley in return for a honest review.

I’ve followed Tim for what feels like ages so to finally get round to reading this is epic. I love his style and delivery and the messages are so clear and succinct. Everyone needs to hear this stuff!

I kept hearing about this book so I just had to give it a read, and I wasn’t disappointed after all! Ferriss outlines a different way of living outside of our usual 9-5 that fills the reader with hope that there can be more to look forward to in life than retirement. My biggest takeaway was the importance of establishing several streams of passive income that don’t require ones ongoing time and attention. Also, there were so many ideas like “mini retirements” that I couldn’t believe I’ve never thought of before. Pick it up if you haven’t already, it’s worth it.
