This had such a potentional! Sadly, it was wasted. The beginning of this book was the strongest, something that I would expect of the ending rather than the first few chapters. The three perspectives felt a little too similar and the whole ending felt a bit rushed and without real buildup to it. The great thing about this book however is, that it's not hard to read and it can be read in one sitting.

It's a cheesy story, an easy read - 3 women marry the same man and don't know it. Good beach read, but I didn't really feel anything for the women, there wasn't enough character development for that. I am enjoying this new trend of author's narrating from different perspectives, it allows the story more detail and gives us a better view of what's going on.

I just disliked the characters so much, espesially how the man managed to decieve and trick the three woman. Plus he seemed so "perfect" to them and it really made me roll my eyes ALOT. Just nope, not for me.

Thank you Netgalley for this ARC of The Three Mrs. Wrights by Linda Keir.

Lark's life is finally looking up. She has designed a board game that has the eye of investors, and she's also met a handsome and mysterious man, Tripp, during her meetings. But not only is he handsome, and totally into her, he's also insanely rich. And in a second all her dreams come true when he offers to back her game with an exorbitant amount of money. And even though they both know that it's dangerous to mix business and family, they start a passionate relationship too. Lark is so happy, this has to be too good to be true.

But, Tripp travels a lot, and can't always be as available to Lark as she'd like. But Tripp is a very important man, giving Ted talks and hosting high powered meetings. He's also going to his wife Jessica...as well as his wife Holly.

The thing about this book, it seems totally crazy, but I've read about women who have experiences these very things. Because some men are such psychopaths, devoid of any feelings of guilt or regret, they can explain their behavior away like champs, leaving a trail of bankruptcy, heartbreak, and broken families in their wake.

It's weird to say that this was a good book, mostly because the subject matter is so hard. Infidelity makes me feel gross, as well as vulnerable, so it's not my favorite thing to read about. But strictly speaking as a reader, this really was a riveting domestic suspense, and it was not hard to get sucked right into the lives of these women, and how they come to discover the cold hard truth of their partner.

The Three Mrs. Wrights turned out to be funny and I kind of wasn't expecting that. It had a bit of Imperfect Women by Araminta Hall feels. The story is told from the perspective of three women in Mr. Wright's lives and each of them have a personality which is relatable and easy to understand.

This was a fun read told from different perspectives, that you soon work out are the various women in one man's life (as obviously alluded to in the title). It makes each female character likeable and unique, showing how each is a victim and how each can take back their power.

I will say, I was pleasantly surprised by this thriller! It had an interesting premise, and was written quite well. We have 3 rotating perspectives, with three very different storylines; this helped me differentiate between the characters. I also liked the inclusion of excerpts from a Ted Talk – it kept me wanting to know more! The story does take a while to build up, but I appreciated that the author had a methodical way of explaining things to the reader. The last 20% of the book is where things really ramped up with the revenge plot I was hoping for – I only wish this had been delivered sooner! If you are looking for a well-developed story with slower pacing, this might be one to check out.

The Three Mrs Wrights.

Its been a long time since I've read a book that is just pure unadulterated easy reading fun. I loved this book. It made me laugh, it made me cry and it made me furious...and I enjoyed every single page.

Linda Keir is a pen name for 2 very talented authors that wrote this book together and I think the mixture of voices in this book came across wonderfully.

All 3 women - Holly, Jessica and Lark are strong, ambitious and motivated women. They are also every woman that has ever fell deeply in love and been blindsided and lied too. They are all of us and that came across beautifully. I felt their pain and I also wanted to shake them and say "put it together faster"...knowing full well in that situation, when you are that in love, you trust and the fact they weren't putting it together faster was no indication of their intelligence...just the awful situation. There is no victims in these women...just very human and very well rounded characters and I felt very connected to them all.

This is a great book...I read it so quickly and felt so much for all 3 women and hated their tormenter so much.

It unravelled very well and I enjoyed how it all linked together and the ending was great.

Would love to read another book by Linda Keir ...they are clearly a dream team!

Thanks to the authors, publisher and Netgalley for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Reading this book was like knowing an awful accident is about to happen, but you can't look away. It was fascinating. How someone so self-centered, who thinks that he can get away with everything, doesn't see his lies mixed up like this... I had fun!

Many thanks to Lake Union Publishing for the complimentary e-copy of this book through NetGalley. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

I enjoyed this book. It was gripping and easy to read. I like that it's told by the three women's point of views, although I kept getting confused who was who lol. Would recommend.

This book was incredibly fun. I normally pass on domestic thrillers, anything with "husband" or "mrs" in the title, because you read one, you've read them all. I'm glad I was wrong and gave this one a fair shot, because I had a great time reading it. This dude, this dumb man, someone cons three women AT THE SAME TIME. They each think they're in a picture perfect relationship with Jack/Jon/Trip, a wealthy, successful businessman, and decide to do something about it when they discover what a pathological liar he is.

It reminded me a little (a LITTLE) of a very forgettable comedy movie called "The Other Women", where three women involved with the same man join forces to take him down. That movie was ridiculous, but The Three Mrs. Wrights is not. It took me a little bit to get into it, but once I did, I could not put it down. I love when thrillers have a tease of something at the end of each chapter, whether it's a police report for the event we don't know about yet, or flashbacks told in little tidbits. This one has snippets from this dumb, dumb man's TED Talks about his success, which made me laugh. Chapters are short and mostly fast paced, and the ending is very satisfying. I definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a domestic "thriller" that's not quite a thriller, but something out of the ordinary.

I enjoyed this book, but overall it was just an ok read, it wasn’t anything special! ⁣
⁣
Reading the synopsis I was anticipating a really gritty story of infidelity. What I actually got was a bit lacklustre and fell a bit flat for me. The twists and surprises just weren’t enough for me and I found it quite predictable. ⁣
⁣
I enjoyed that the story was told form multiple POV’s and each of the three female characters were likeable enough.⁣
 ⁣
As you may have guessed from the synopsis, this book does deal with infidelity and all the aftermath that it creates so if this is something you are sensitive about, I would suggest skipping it! ⁣

The Three Mrs. Wright's combines serial bigamy with a medical thriller. Jonathan Wright is a charismatic con man who uses each of his wives (Holly, Jessica, and Lark) to further his plans for building a fortune based on medical fraud. Similar to the Thanatos scandal, Jonathan claims to have developed a simple way to predict childhood cancer. His efforts to promote funding for his schemes give him the opportunity to establish relationships with three effective women who have great potential. Told using the POV of his wives, the reader watches as Jonathan deceptively romances his way into intimacy. Happily these women are not victims. They are savvy enough to find a way to design a revenge that goes beyond mere fantasy. A thoroughly satisfying read.
In this case, three Wrights do make a wrong.

High recommendation for readers of thrillers and suspenseful romance.

Full disclosure: I received this ARC from netgalley and Lake Union Publishing in exchange for an honest review. Thank you for this opportunity.

Very enjoyable! A light read with a solid revenge plot. All three Mrs. Wrights are very likeable. Overall if your looking for a thriller thats not very intense this is it.

I’m eternally suspicious of domestic suspense novels. The market is over saturated, the stories are usually predictable, and the characters are often insufferable. However, I was pleasantly surprised by The Three Mrs Wrights! I enjoyed the alternating perspectives (though Lark was hands down my favorite) and thought the scorned-women-seeking-revenge was well done. Jon is obviously horrible and it was painful to hear him refer to his female counterparts as crazy, mentally unstable, etc., but I’m happy to see that the authors didn’t take advantage of this ploy we so often see in domestic suspense and truly make the women crazy. Overall I thought this was a fun page turner and I would be curious to read more by the authors! 4/5 stars.

Thanks Lake Union Publishing and NetGalley for my advanced review copy! All thoughts are my own.

This was an enjoyable read which was defined by REVENGE. Although not very realistic (how could one man pull this off for so long) it was very entertaining. I recommend this one!
Many thanks to Lake Union Publishing and to NetGalley for providing me with a galley in exchange for my honest opinion.

I really enjoyed what I was able to read of this book before my paperwhite died. I’ll probably end up buying it so I can finish it since I can no longer access it on my paperwhite.
