I love books set in Cornwall and this was no exception. I loved Marion's story of coming to terms with not being perfect and being ok with it. I also loved how she blossomed as she stopped trying to be everything to everyone else and became so much more when she focused on what she wanted. A great read for anyone who has ever felt that frustration with life, children and love.

This arc copy was provided in exchange for a honest review.

Oh my I am a sucker for Cornwall books, books set at the seaside, books with dashingly handsome men in and women in Cath Kidston frocks!

This book provided lashing of all the above in a giant Cornish pasty sized amount.
I loved this book, I loved the series too. Kitty writes so well. I evened began to find I liked Marion in this book when she greeted on me in the others in the series.

This book was a solid summer read, it was joyful, gentle and sweet. Everything I desire in a book.

I don’t want it to be the end of the series though!

Marion's marriage to Richard is on the rocks after she finds out that he had apparently been unfaithful to her. She is devastated by Richard's apparent starting and is struggling to find a new purpose in life and decides to make use of her organisational skills and become an event planner
Having read and loved the previous books in the series I was really looking forward to this one. I must admit that to start I did struggle : Marion is the type of person that I struggle with, full of their own self importance, brash and uncaring for other's feelings. As the story develops, however, you begin to realise the true person behind her exterior, supportive of her family, passionate about what she does covering her memories of a less than happy childhood. She gradually realises that other people matter and that you can work better as part of a team, respective of other's views. All this time Richard is there to support her and his family with unswerving loyalty and love. With her new found attitude to others helping form new friendships can she make a success of her new venture? In the end I really enjoyed this book with its cast off characters that I've grown to love with the background of Cornwall that makes me feel part of that community.
Sad that this series has drawn to an end I m now looking forward to what new stories the author will bring us next.
I received an advance copy of this book from the publisher through Netgalley, however this did not influence my review and have already pre-ordered the book anyway.

I have so enjoyed this series and don't want it to end but can't praise the author enough as the book is amazingly well written and the characters are brilliant and of course you feel you are there in Cornwall yourself. Full of heartbreak with plenty of romance and everyone getting their happy ever after such a warm read and very gripping you don't want it to end plenty about friendships to.
Marion has always wanted to be perfect and wants to show everyone she has the perfect life in her Cornwall village but she has a husband who isn't about much her children don't behave and she doesn't have many friends but she decides she needs to change her ways. She goes to her husband's place in London for a weekend as a surprise for there anniversary but when she arrives she finds his boss in her flat and believes they are having an affair so heads back to Cornwall but stops of where she was grown up and realises that her life with her mum wasn't perfect and she's been trying to be perfect every since. So she heads home and decides she needs to do something for herself and decides to set up a wedding planning and events planning as she's so organized but how will she react when her husband turns up back at home and she says she wants to leave him she's trying to organise a wedding and a PTA event for the school and while doing this she starts making friends with people as she shows what she can really be like and not the lady she's been. Can she sort her relationship out or not and will they all be happy ever after or not.
This is worth far more than five stars it's brilliant.
