One of the best second chance romances I've read this year! Miss Probst is a go to author for me for this kind of tropes! it was amazing.

This is the second book in this series about the Sunshine Sisters and their wedding planning business. Bella Sunshine-Caldwell was widowed about 6 years ago when her husband was killed in a car crash. She has been raising her daughter, Zoe, by herself although she does have help from her sisters. She hasn't had a relationship since being widowed since she is afraid of being left again. Gabe Garcia is a wedding planner with their business. Gabe has had feelings for Bella from the first time he met her but she's kept him at a distance since she believes the town rumors of him being a player. He isn't a player just a very handsome bachelor. He has his own insecurities from his father never believing in him. I liked how Gabe paid attention to Zoe and always brought her pink things that she loves. He has a really good relationship with Zoe. Will Bella be able to get over the rumors and give Gabe a chance before it's too late? I really like this series and can't wait for the next sister's book. I received an ARC and am leaving my honest review.

Delightful read as another Sunshine sister finds her happily ever after. Story line has doubt, sorrow and fear as well as respect, caring and attraction. The characters have fantastic connections as Gabe's patience is stretched to the limit. Very enjoyable read and I highly recommend this series.

I voluntarily read and reviewed this book; all opinions expressed are my own.

❤️Gabe & Bella’s story❤️

Gabe works with Bella & her sisters at Sunshine Bridal. It has been love at first sight for Gabe but he has never said anything to Bella about his feelings.
Bella’s husband died years ago in an accident. She is a single mother and juggles everything. Bella hears all the rumors about Gabe’s womanizer ways. Will Gabe share how he feels & will Bella be open to a relationship or will she just want to remain work friends?

It’s nice to be back with the crew in Cape May. I enjoyed this book! It was nice to read about Bella! I loved Zoe! I feel like you need to read the first book in this series to better understand all the characters. Can’t wait for Taylor’s book!

This hero is the kind you'll want to steal from his heroine, because she will never be good enough for him. That kinda sums up my feelings about this one. A serious, small town romance featuring two wedding planners, this is a little bit charming and a little bit sexy. I loved the hero; he's been painted as a playboy when really he's been pining over his girl. The heroine, well, I didn't love her but I also didn't hate her. The story is a bit frustrating with miscommunications, assumptions, and OW drama, but I was invested in the relationship and wanted to see them find their happily ever after.

The story follows Bella and Gabe, two wedding planners who work for the same company - but never seem to spend much time together. That's Bella's doing; she thinks Gabe is too sexy, too much of a playboy to stick around their small town, so she doesn't want to risk the chance of falling for him. Gabe's been half in love with Bella for years, but she's made it clear that she wants nothing to do with him. But as the two spend more time together, getting closer is unavoidable and they soon realize that there's something there worth fighting for.

I really felt for Gabe; he is nothing but loving to Bella, and the scenes with her daughter are just too cute. It's clear that he craves a family, and this guarded widow is someone who is able to give him that - if only she'd take a risk. The tone is serious but not overly heavy; emotional but still with some lightness. There's a lot of push/pull and an emotional build that works to give the relationship plenty of depth. I definitely did get frustrated by all of the miscommunication, and the OW drama was a bit much for me at times. There were a couple of instances where I felt like elements of Gabe's backstory were contradictory - I'm still not sure if he was waiting for Bella, or if he just didn't sleep around like everyone believed. Regardless, both Gabe and Bella are genuinely good people, and I really wanted to see them find their way together. For me, this one falls somewhere between 3 and 4 stars, but the quality of the writing gives it a boost. I received an ARC via Valentine PR and am voluntarily leaving a review of this slow burn romance.

This was the second book in the series. We met Bella and Gabe. I had liked Bella in the previous book, and loved Gabe and we knew that he had a crush on her and wanted to see how that played out. I was disappointed with her, I mean she has this great guy and she pushes him away, I get he part that you are scared of losing someone you love and not bringing in someone new for your daughter to care about and the for it to break down and since he also worked with her, I could understand worrying that could mess everything up. However, her problem mainly came from gossip, man I felt for Gabe he was talked about as a man-ho and if it was true then yeah I get I wouldn't want to get involved with someone like that, but that wasn't the case. These are grown folks we are not in high school, so I couldn't understand why woman said he slept with the when he didn't. He was a good guy and just in the professional setting she should have been able to see that, especially since her sister Avery, who is a pretty tough woman, has all the confidence in him. I ended up like Carter more in this book, he was good and loyal friend, not to mention a great Fiance and loved how he helped Bella by taking care of Zoe, that was super sweet. It was not to read about the friendship these guys developed, it always a plus when you get along with you fiance or girlfriends family. Bella was lucky that Gabe loved her enough to forgive her on multiple occasions, so buck pull up your big girl panties and defend your man..I have a feeling that the next book with Pierce and Taylor..

I’m at a loss on what to say that would express how much I love diving into the Cape May world.

Gabe has had his sights on Bella for a long time. Making her see him as Mr. Right is harder than he originally thought. What happens next, is no less than swoon worthy. He continues to step up and show her the man he truly is and spoiler alert he’s pretty flipping awesome.

Everything about this series is magical, but all of Jennifer’s are. The Sunshine sisters are as strong as they are sassy. The characters, the storyline, and the build for the next story all fuel an already powerful read. Yes! Buy! This! Book! Then go grab Jennifer’s other books. A feel good author that will make you smile and fall in love over and over again.

You know when you pick up a JP book you are going to get a heartfelt, wonderful story that you are going to fall in love with.

However, I have renamed this story "Frustration on Ocean Drive". Because oh my lord, did our leading lady Bella frustrate the heck out of me - and our gorgeous leading man, Gabe.

We have met them both already - Bella is one of the Sunshine sisters, and Gabe is Avery's assistant - and in my opinion, way to good for Bella.

Yes, I understand Bella has her reasons, but FFS woman, he is laying his heart at your feet and you keep trampling on it. I want to hit you over the head with my Kinde... and then come and steal Gabe from you all for myself.

I love the interactions and banter between the Sunshine girls. I adore getting more of Carter and Lucy, and man, my heart also belongs to a little girl called Zoe.

It was a journey, but man it was good for our lovelies to finally get to their HEA.

I am looking forward to Taylor's story in the future.

That book had so great material, a promising blurb, small town romance vibes, family business with a tight family, a bit of drama and characters would have to fight their own battles and issues.
Some things that would make me fall in love on the spot. I wish I was.
But still after finishing reading Gabe and Bella’s frustrating journey to their HEA, I’m more than conflicted.

I really enjoyed it from the beginning until the moment the story felt like a broken record and repetitive to me. I could understand the characters’ issues to an extent but they seemed like they stuck on it and instead of trusting the other and giving the benefit of a doubt, they let their minds do all the reasoning and mostly people around them to dictate how it was supposed to be.

Bella is a single mother of a cute girl, Zoe. Running with her two sisters the family business successfully. After her husband died she became closed off and focused on her daughter and family. Mostly denying her feelings for her co-worker, Gabe who has a crush on her since the moment they met, but too afraid to make a move.
That man has a heart of gold, definitely not the guy people are talking about, caring and loving with Bella’s daughter and her family.

It should have been a great start, ready for the battles and rooting for Gabe to win Bella’s heart. I could sense that nothing would be easy and I was totally for it. As the story unfolded I felt drained emotionally because they frustrated the hell out of me. Their issues should have been a strength because they were more alike than they seemed to be. Bella was too stubborn and put self- protective mode whenever Gabe managed to pass beyond the barriers. One step ahead, ten steps backwards.

Their relationship was a strong back and forth with a slow burn that could have been great but all the drama between them was tiring.
There was a weird dynamic with Bella’s friends, judgemental and not caring at all for her happiness, it didn’t feel right.

It needed more development in their relationship and maybe solving some issues earlier. I felt like a lot of things were missing, too much miscommunication, misunderstandings and mostly not enough trust. Something fundamental to me. More chapters would have strengthened their story.

5 Star Review Temptation On Ocean Drive (The Sunshine Sisters #2) by Jennifer Probst
The second book in the latest series from Jennifer Probst and what a great addition Temptation On Ocean Drive is. Bella Sunshine Caldwell is a widow concentrating on raising her daughter Zoe and being a wedding planner at her family’s bridal company, Sunshine Bridal.
Gabe Garcia has been working at Sunshine Bridal for three years and has had feelings for Bella since he first saw her. Now he is working with Bella on a winter wonderland wedding and doing his best to not complicate their relationship.
What no one knows is that Gabe really isn’t the player that everyone thinks he is. He never cared to about the rumors before but since he has developed feelings for Bella and her daughter, his player status is causing all sorts of complications. The biggest question of all is can Gabe convince Bella to take a chance on him? Will Bella finally open herself up to a second chance at happiness?
This was a fun and entertaining book that had me captivated from the first to the last chapter. There is a such a wonderful feeling of love and family within this story and it was an enjoyable read that left me with a smile on my face.
I received a copy of this book from the publisher through NetGalley.

I love my visits to Sunshine Bridal and Temptation on Ocean Drive was everything I expected and so much more, this is Bella and Gabe’s story and boy do this couple have a tale to tell. Gabe is working as a wedding planner at Sunshine Bridal, his reputation as a player was never denied because he was simply trying to prove himself in a woman’s world and rather than denying the rumours he goes with the flow and that was fine until he realised he had feelings for Bella and her adorable daughter.... Bella has put her dating life on hold, her life revolves around her daughter and work but working closely with Gabe has her feeling things she hasn’t felt in a while. Can Gabe convince Bella to open up her heart and trust her heart rather than her head..... A heartfelt romance that touched me on so many levels, wonderful characters, witty banter and a story I was engrossed in. This is a romance about friendships, love and learning to open your heart, this is a great addition to The Sunshine Sisters and I recommend all romance lovers one click this gem of a read.

The second installment in the Sunshine Sisters Series is even better than the first. The level-headed, middle sister, Bella Sunshine-Caldwell is featured in this story along with Avery Sunshines’s former assistant, and newly promoted to full time wedding planner, Gabe Garcia.

For those who were disappointed that sparks never ignited between Gabe and Avery, hold onto your seats. All sorts of sparks fly in this second installment and they don’t all start out as good.

Bella is borderline rude and very standoffish to Gabe, which is hard on Gabe because he’s silently in love with Bella and her daughter, Zoe, and Zoe adores Gabe.

Bella and Gabe take us on a journey of unrequited love facing off against a heroine scared to love again and full of insecurities. Bella rediscovers true love while Gabe has his unrequited love finally realized.

I totally rooted for Gabe from the beginning, he’s like almost too perfect, but then you get to see his imperfections and they just endear him more to the reader. There’s a Dr. Seuss wedding, who doesn’t love Dr. Seuss; and all of the previous characters, Bella’s sisters, Avery and Taylor as well as Averys fiancé and Taylor’s best friend. This is great summer read and visit back to the Jersey Shore.

As a male in a female dominated world, wedding planner Gabe has always been thought of as a player with a revolving bedroom door, but in all honesty this is the furthest thing from the truth. Bella has more than just herself to think of. With a young daughter, the widow has always put her dating life on the back burner and concentrated on work and her daughter. Can Gabe prove to her that what he feels for her is true and honest and not just his persona? Will Bella open up her heart and to what her future can be? Heart warming and with a wonderful connection between the characters this is yet another book in the series that all readers should not miss.

This is book 2 in the series and it looked like it would be amazing and it so is. Gabe works at the bridal company with Bella. He fell in love with her the second he met her. But she is a widow with a young daughter and well she really loved her husband and so his death is something that she is having a tough time moving on from.

Bella in this book has two issues.

1. She really loved her husband and while she knows she needs to move on, she was so devestated that its hard to open herself to that kind of pain again.

2. She believes Gabe is so great that he will never stay in their small bridal company and so she believes that eventually he will leave anyways.

What I loved about this story was Gabe. he is an awesome character and he wants Bella so badly. I loved how great he is with her, her family, her daughter and how much he loves his job. He wants Bella so badly and loves her so much and he really tries to get her to see that.

The only part I hated about this story was the side story with Dana but while it was a needed part of this story, to get Bella to move on, I hated those scenes.

After reading the first Sunshine sisters book, Love on Beach Avenue, I immediately fell in love with @jenniferprobst writing & she quickly became an auto but author for me.

Okay, now onto what I loved, aka the whole dang book.

“I’ve always been listening. And I’ve always been here, waiting until you needed me”

Since the moment he started working at Sunshine Bridal, Gabe has had a thing for Bella. Understandably, Bella is stand offish towards him as she has her family business & her young child Zoe to care for. After hosting a successful wedding, Gabe & Bella are asked to host another wedding, their biggest one yet, with an insanely tight schedule. This one could do wonders to the business as well as both of their reputations in the bridal industry. But this wedding could bring huge changes to the company, and more importantly, their relationship.

Gabe is literally perfect & says the right things EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. and I love him for it. My heart was one huge puddle of swoon basically any time Gabe opened his mouth. Bella was a beautiful character too. She was a hardworking, fabulous single mom who cared for anyone who crossed her path.

I don’t want to give anymore away, but I will say, I highly recommend you read both Love on Beach Avenue and Temptation on Ocean Drive. They will have your heart swooning & doing the happy dance!

I’ve loved living the world of Cape May with the sunshine sisters. Love on Beach Avenue was my first read of the author and I could not put it down. Was dying to get to the next story.

Bella’s story did not disappoint! She’s the middle sister who is doing her best to be enough for everyone. She’s a single mom who’s had a traumatic loss and an adorable little girl. Throughout the book Bella is so hard on herself and what she thinks she should do and not do.

Her coworker Gabe who is the hottest bachelor Cape May has ever seen only has eyes for a certain Sunshine sister. I love that Carter and Pierce try to help him at every point of the story. Gabe dealing with his own insecurities is so dang sweet and swoony. He’s gonna be the best thing ever! Just let him love you!

The push pull with these two is beautiful and heart breaking because we’ve all had those moments and can relate to both Bella and Gabe. You wanna scream at them then cheer for them!

I loved it so much and right to the last of the book wasn’t sure this was going to work out and was the grand gesture going to be enough? Definitely grab this series and get started!

This was a fun quick read and loved the setting of the book!
This is book two in the series and it is about the sisters who run Sunshine Bridal, is a well written push-pull story about a pair of wedding planners. Gabe felt the spark of attraction the very first time he met Bella, but no matter how much he tries to push past the business relationship, she pulls back....

Absolutely loved this return to the sunshine sisters, in true form the author engages you with humour, emotion and wit. With descriptive phrases this book transports you into the family and the world of wedding planning

I simply loved Temptation On Ocean Drive. It is such a fantastic read that made me fall in love with the Sunshine sisters all over again. Bella is the calming force among the sisters. She knows how to handle any problematic member of the wedding party without batting an eye. She is a fantastic mother doing everything she can to raise her on her own. You can feel the pain she still is in grieving her late husband. You feel the sparks between Gabe and Bella from the start and you get why Bella refuses to acknowledge her feelings. Gabe is trying to prove he is the man beyond the small town rumors. He is so sweet and will make you melt when it comes to Bella's daughter Zoe. Zoe is just ball of sunshine that puts a smile on your face. Gabe and Bella have such chemistry that makes you feel gooey inside. I couldn't put this one down. I love how close the Sunshine sisters are and getting to know each more through their own books. I cannot wait for Taylor's book and see why she is the way she is.

Okay, first off, I’m a huge fan of this series and author. Love the characters, love the small town vibe, and dear lord, love Gabe! I have to say I did not like Bella at the beginning of this story, she was just down right rude and a very difficult character to get into, very unlike the Bella in book one. Thankfully she redeemed herself as the story progressed. I get how difficult it must have been to lose Matt six years prior, honestly the only reason I gave this book a four star rating instead of five is because of the over obsessed wishy washy feelings on commitment with these two. Bella because she believed everything the town said about Gabe, Gabe because of the unsavory comments his dad repeated to him while growing up. I can handle a bit of indecisiveness, but it got to the point where it was a bit overboard. Having said that, I truly loved this story, Zoe is just adorable, Gabe is a man every woman wants for themselves, and the Sunshine Sisters are just magical in the wedding planning world. Carter and Pierce were hysterical, and I loved how Adele’s wedding turned out, would have loved to actually see that wedding in person! I’m waiting in anticipation to see how Taylor and Pierce’s story plays out, that one will be very interesting given the two characters.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC copy of this book.
