Josie's back in another well plotted mystery that keeps you at the edge of your seat. This time the story picks up with the residents of Denton experiencing the worst floods in recent memory. It's all hands on deck as the police help to evacuate people from their homes. While aiding in the rescue of an elderly woman, Jose witnesses a house literally breaking away from its foundation as it submerges in the water. As the house breaks away, Josie sees something wrapped in bright blue fabric bobbing in the water and realizes that she has just discovered a body. The first mystery is finding out who the identified body actually was and this leads Josie to question if her childhood love and deceased ex-husband had something to do with the murder of a teenage girl. The story keeps you guessing until the end and as always the reader gets to enjoy getting to know the main character and her friends better in each novel. I do wish that Noah had a larger part in this novel. As a person who likes to read mystery and romance, it would have been fun to get more personal interactions between Josie and her guy. Definitely worth the read.

Save Her Soul is the latest in the Detective Josie Quinn series and it doesn't disappoint. Flood waters are raging through Denton and while on boat patrol Josie notices something suspicious in the flood water. Risking her life she jumps in and retrieves a wrapped tarp. Her suspicions that it is a body prove correct. But, it's not a stranger. It turns out to be a teenage girl named Beverley Urban, Josie's Nemesis from high school. Everyone assumed that Beverley and her mother Vera packed up one night and left town over 15 years previously. It soon transpires that Beverley was murdered and buried under the foundation of a house that was swept away in the flood. Who could possibly have wanted a 17 year old girl dead and why was she buried in Ray Quinn's beloved baseball jacket? Is Vera Urban dead as well and if she is alive where has she been all these years? This was a great read, pacey and absorbing. Thank you NetGalley for my advance copy.

Another fantastic five star read in the Josie Quinn series, and in my opinion the best one yet. What happens when the past comes knocking on your door? As usual Quinn is a woman on a mission and will stop at nothing to get to the truth. This author goes straight to the top of my reading list when she has a new book released. Yes she is that good. Packed with tension and suspense, plenty of suspects to give my brain a real workout and a few surprises along the way. This book definitely ticked all my boxes and I can't wait to read what this author has in store for the unstoppable Miss Quinn.
Thanks to Bookouture and Netgalley for the ARC in return for giving an honest review.

Detective Josie Quinn’s story continues! Full of chaos, mystery, and some pretty hefty emotion, Lisa Regan provides a fantastic crime thriller. While this is the ninth book in the series, it can be picked up as a stand alone. Regan’s approach is a bit more restrained here versus her other books in the series; the characterization and police work take center stage. Great book for those looking to jump into the series. 4 stars.

Thank you to #NetGalley for the ARC of #SaveHerSoul which was read and reviewed voluntarily.

Thank you NetGalley for the ARC of Save Her Soul by Lisa Regan that I read reviewed.
This was the ninth book in the Josie Quinn series and it was an excellent addition to the series. I love Josie Quinn and the rest of the characters that are in these books. They all play such a huge part that make these books work so well.
In these book we learn more about Josie’s past because she finds the body of girl that she went to high school with who has been missing since the end of her junior year. Josie has to figure out what happened to this young girl who back then she did not get along with. During the investigation Josie is faced with a lot of old fears and learns some things that changes her future as well. This book shows a side of Josie we as readers have never seen before and I loved it. I can’t wait to see where she goes from here and how she grows after this book.
Save Her Soul was an excellent read for the story but more importantly for the growth of the main character of this series. I am giving this book five out of five stars.

What can I say Lisa Regan does it again. I just love the Josie Quinn series and hope there are many more to come. I have not read all the books in the series yet and have not read them in order. Even though this is a series it does not have to be read like that. I understood what was going on even though I have not read them all.

This book was about Josie trying to figure out who killed someone from her past that made her teenage years miserable. She had to dig deep inside herself to remember what happened that far back. Who can she trust? Can she trust her instincts to find the real killer? Is the killer someone close to her that she knows and loves? Or is the killer someone that no one even thought of? You find all the answers and much more by the end of the book.

I want to start off by saying that I love this series and the way Lisa Regan portrays Josie Quinn. Josie to me is brave, fearless and gets the job done. She knows just what to do and say to get her perp. I loved the way this book was written. Since I haven’t read all the books and not in order I got to see more of her past and what she was like in her teenage years in this book. Some of the chapters went back and forth from past to present and I loved that. I always love a good back story and that is what Josie has. I also loved the roller coaster of an ending. I didn’t expect that twist in the end. I knew that something was off the whole entire book but I didn’t know that is was going to be a whopper of an ending. I would’ve never guessed it in a million years. Kudos to Lisa Regan for that ending. I can’t wait to read more in this series.

Between the plot, characters and all the twists in this book it made it an easy and fast read. I would definitely recommend it and happily give it 5 Hearts❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

As always an adventure in policing with fallible characters in sometimes disastrous situations in the name of justice.
Thank you netgalley and the publisher for this arc.

Another amazing book! I love this series! This one was different from the others I would say. No Serial killer or creepy scenes but a mass town flooding (no thanks) dead body comes out of a collapsed house...... revisiting Quinn's past and learning more about her. I love that each book always has more to give from their pasts. Secretly waiting for the book when Noah hopefully pops the question 😂

Another Joise Quinn book, this time number nine in the series and again the main and subplots collide
This series really is all about the brilliant characters and the subplots. When the town is submerged in floods and a body floats out of the foundations of a ruined house, the victim turns out to be a former foe of Josie’s from junior high. A brilliant main plot with lots of twists and turns and lots of possible villains.
The story races along with some heart stopping moments and a fabulous twist in the end that I never saw coming

Lisa Regan has done it again!

I have to admit, I am a huge fan of the Josie Quinn books. I have started reading them from the first one, and each time I see another one up for reviewing, I immediately grab it, because I know she never disappoints.

Once again, Josie is in the middle of a case, but this time it is a body that was found during a flood! As if that isn't already chaotic enough, the body is of Josie's high school nemesis, and also has links to Josie's deceased husband Ray.

The story itself is gripping, the characters are full of life and it is a true joy to read this!

Wow, Lisa Regan has outdone herself this time! I am a massive fan of this authors books, especially the Josie Quinn series. Hard to believe that we are up to book 9 already - and I have to say that I think that this one of the best of the whole series. It opens with chapters worthy of an action film and I was holding my breath as it all unfolded. I feel this is a series best read in order, Josie and the characters have quite a complex past to understand. She is a character that I will never hesitate to read about and I hope that there is plenty more to come.

The small town of Denton is flooding and the local police have been called in to help with the rescue missions. When a house floats away and uncovers a body wrapped in a tarp Josie must go back to her high school days to uncover the truth. The body of a young woman, wearing a baseball jacket that Josie knows well, it was owned by her ex-husband and high school sweetheart Ray. But why is Beverly Urban, another girl from her high school days wearing it when she was murdered? And who wanted her dead and why? It opens up a can of worms and Josie starts to doubt everything she thought she knew about Ray.

This is a fantastic crime story, full of action and twists. Josie is woman who never gives up, no matter what she might learn. High recommend this series.

Thanks to Bookouture for my advanced copy of this book to read.

Not my normal genre, but always make an exception for Lisa Regan and her character Josie Quinn. In this story line Josie seems to get into some unimaginable situations due to the severe flooding in her town. Thankfully she survived these life threatening episodes and hope to catch up with her again.

Another fantastic addition to the Josie Quinn series written by Lisa Regan.
The newest case for Josie carries a gut punch from the past. Reeling from what the evidence is implying has Josie second guessing everything about her high school love. But above everything Josie shows who she is, a dedicated detective after the truth, whatever the cost.
The story is engaging and fast pace, keeping you captivated for hours.
Looking forward to the next book in the series.

No question about it ; a well deserved 5 star read !

I love the Josie Quinn series and Book 9 is just as good if not better than 1 - 8.

I am tired after all the action that Josie , Gretchen, Noah and her team go through to catch who killed Beverly over 16 years ago. The town all thought she and her mum had just moved on one day.

Lisa Regan always throws a few curve balls at the reader , twists and turn and there is always a new aspect of Josie's life that we learn right along with her.

I am in line already for Book 10; I won't get tired of this series.

Thanks to NetGalley and Bookouture for an outstanding read.

What a blast!
This is my first book by this author but not the last. In fact I might just have to go right back to the beginning of the series...
Detective Josie Quinn explodes on page one with a gut-wrenching reading trip that doesn't let up until the very last page. A flood. A dead girl wrapped up in blue tarpaulin wearing a jacket last seen on Josie Quinn's dead husband's back 😳
Another writer to add to the list of my must reads.

What a trip! With floods ravaging her town, Josie has to solve a murder connected to her past. I loved getting to see a younger Josie through flashbacks and seeing more about her relationship with Ray. He's still such a large presence in her life. It was so moving seeing how she's still struggling after so many life changing events but done in such a genuine and realistic way. Josie may be strong as nails but she's still human. Once again Lisa Regan delivered a stellar book. I wish i could give more than five stars.

This is the ninth book in the Josie Quinn series. I have really enjoyed this series. There were a lot of twists and turns and did not end like I expected. I love a book where I do not know who did it. Thank you to NetGalley who provided me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review

Josie Quinn is back! Again, she's literally caught in a flood and rescuing a body that 's been dislodged from a home in the river. From that point on, she finds herself immersed in a cold case that has her stumped as far as who did what! Also, it's a great idea to begin with Book 1 in order to meet Josie Quinn and see why she's arrived at this point. Many of her demons are still in her, but now they are starting to resurface. It's a fast paced thriller, full of action and many characters.

Lisa Regan's character, Josie Quinn, is her best character and storyline. I haven't been disappointed and I look forward to a continuation of this series.

I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did.
