I received a copy of this book for a fair and honest review. I got this book to keep going on my own studies of the Craft. This is a book that is simple and easy to follow. What drew me in are the water color like illustrations throughout the book. It is the basics of the the whole magickal experience. It helped me refresh and keep the magick alive inside of me. That was something that I was looking for when I picked up this book. It is a way to keep the magick awake each and everyday. That is the way it should be for this that follow this path or those looking to start.

This is a good book for beginners. The full title is The Complete Grimoire: Magickal Practices and Spells for Awakening Your Inner Witch. It's full of charts, information, illustrations, etc. It's got a lot of information but it's easy to read. I recommend it.

I loved this book, it gave a good insight into the author’s take on witchcraft (I understand that there are many different types).

It’s well organised and set out logically so a beginner can easily find the different topics that interest them. The spells were easy to understand and overall the book is fascinating.

Great for someone who wants to learn the basics.

Witchy peeps everywhere will enjoy this. The thing about grimoires is that they're all different and I love that people publish theirs to help the collective. The wise words of Lidia will have you wanting to start your magical journey right away. The artwork in this book is beautiful and matched with all the helpful life advice. I would buy this book for my whole crew and then some. Grateful to have been able to stumble across this work of love.

A nice all-encompassing guide to witchcraft for those in the spooky spirit or practicing witches. Covers all the bases and looks lovely while doing so.

This is a simple to follow introductory compilation of information on witchcraft. it provides a generalized view of witchcraft as a whole and does not focus on one particular area. This is an excellent starting point for anyone interested in learning about the practice and is looking to discover a different way of life. i found this book easily accessible, and it is matter of fact written in a simple style.
This book is an excellent starting point to guide you to particular areas of interst but i recommend further study if you want to learn more. I received an arc of this book via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

The Complete Grimoire: Magickal Practices and Spells for Awakening Your Inner Witch by Lidia Pradas is a beautifully illustrated book that will serve the needs of both the beginner and more experienced witch. As the title suggests this book is organized in a way that provides the reader with all of the staples of a wiccan practice in just the right amount of in depth exploration and useable information.

The Complete Grimoire is separated into nine (9) chapters and has a greatly appreciated Index at the end for quick reference. An ending point for each of the chapters is a small section entitled Things I Wish Someone Had Told Me. Here, the author gives an extra little tidbit of information that reflect the nature of the Craft, which is one of learning as you go and formulating your own resonance with what you’ve learned to make it more completely your own.

Chapter 1: Witchcraft FAQ’s dives right into commonly asked questions about practice and the Craft and dispels the myth and glamour surrounding witchcraft and identifying as a witch. Topics include coven work vs. Solitary, the male terminology used for a witch, the types of witches and their practice and more.

….. To simplify it, all Wiccans are pagans, but not all pagans are Wiccans. Most Wiccans are witches, but not all witches are Wiccans. Some pagans are witches, and some witches are pagans….1.

Each chapter takes the reader through an organized process of work that involves your physicality, such as acquiring tools and preparing for Sabbats, as well as developing the subtle skills of energetic practice, meditation and visualization.

I am always interested in the approach an author takes when writing about the Sabbats and how to celebrate. Chapter 4: The Wheel of the Year was one of my favorite chapters in content and presentation. Ms. Pradas begins the year with Yule and each Sabbat is lovingly treated with correspondences and suggestions for activities. A recipe is included as well to complete the connection between earth and the celebrant.

Subsequent chapters cover all of the basics of Crystals (Ch5), Herbs (Ch6), Divination (Ch7) and Working with Spirits and Deities (Ch8). The final Chapter 9: Correspondences, Rituals and Spells brings all that has preceded into a palpable and usable practice. Topics such as Timing, Astrology, Candle Magick and more are presented with versatility in mind and exemplifying the resourceful nature of the Craft and the witch. The practical nature of witchcraft is addressed in defining the use and nature of talismans and amulets, spell crafting and being mindful of glamours in spell work. This final chapter provides an excellent jumping off point into deeper explorations of all of the components of witchcraft with tastings of the best pieces to whet the appetite.

Would I Recommend:

What I truly appreciated about The Complete Grimoire: Magickal Practices and Spells for Awakening Your Inner Witch by Lidia Pradas was the amount of information provided without the lengthy discourse on each topic that is often the staple of a book such as this. Everything that was offered was a harmonious balance of containing nothing more and nothing less than what would teach, but not detract from the simplicity of much of the Craft’s core essence. This approach lends itself very nicely to being able to jump right into the work and experience the Craft from the first pages. BROOM’S UP for The Complete Grimoire: Magickal Practices and Spells for Awakening Your Inner Witch by Lidia Pradas!

The Complete Grimoire is a great beginners guide to witchcraft. It was informative without being overwhelming and included basic guides to different paths of magic and witchcraft. This is great for anybody looking to learn more about witchcraft in general, but if you already have a basic knowledge of witchcraft, you might want something more advanced. The illustrations were wonderful! I really enjoyed reading this one!

The Complete Grimoire by Lidia Pradas
Magickal Practices and Spells for Awakening Your Inner Witch is a mouthful of a title but describes very well the lovely tome that bears it .

* The writing is simple and straightforward if a bit dry in places
* the Illustrations are beautiful and I may purchase a physical copy for them alone.
* Charts and tables throughout provide quick and easy references
* Cautions are included for safety in the use of herbs and stones especially but also with fire.
* variable paths are acknowledged

What I did not like?
The writing takes on a dry tone in some places. Especially near the start.

Did I enjoy this book? Yes
Would I buy it for myself or someone else? Definitely

Thank you to NetGalley and Quarto Group ~ Fair Winds Press for the ARC

THe Complete Grimoire is a fantastic introduction to all things magic. Lidia Pradas covers energy work, the wheel of the year, setting up an alter, crystals/herbs, divination, spellcrafting and more. She has built on her Instagram Wiccan Tips and created a great reference tool for anyone wanting to get started in the Craft.

I loved the illustrations and found the book easy to understand and follow. I felt that there was more then just the basics you see in a lot of the other intro to witchcraft books out there. I especially loved the chapters on correspondences and the wheel of the year. I also appreciated how Lidia touched on environmentalism/cultural sensitivity when discussing some of her tips.

I would definitely recommend The Complete Grimoire for the beginner witch.

Great book for beginner witches. It was everything you need and you can pick and choose what you want to study more. But it's a great introduction!

This book is a very introductory resource for those curious about magic/magick and unsure of where to start. It does a nice job of not being too detailed about any one thing and providing a nice overview into the various areas that a witch or practitioner might wish to study further. Purposely vague, this is a wonderful resource to act as a jumping-off spot for further research into the areas that interest you! The correspondence charts and recipes are especially helpful, and the illustrations provided throughout the book are lovely.

It is a good introductory type of book. A variety of topics introduced and then the reader can go and research afterwords. The wording is not dumbed down.

Really interesting book for those who are new to witchcraft. It doesn't cover things in detail but opens the door for you to carry out your own research. It is also one of the most beautiful books I've ever seen and is decorated in such a way that you want to keep reading to absorb the images as well as the words. Thank you for letting me read this ARC, I really enjoyed it!

I can't wait to get a physical copy for myself.
It is basically a compilation of information on witchcraft, and it doesn't focus too much on one path or another.
so this might be really good for people new to it or just wants to know what it might be about.
However, those who are already on the path might not find this relevant to them. There is such a variety of information, in this grimoire, that you still might find something useful to your path in this book.

This was a nice and simple introduction to wicca, and a nice way to explain the practice. It was nice and simple, while being fairly detailed, and wasn’t too complex, and there were no elements of trying to gatekeep the religion.
