Loved Isadora and Devraj in this one! They were just what they needed in each other's lives! This series gets better with every book!

I enjoyed this second book in the paranormal/urban fantasy romance series.

Witch meets vampire. She doesn't need a man for a fulfilling life. She'd want a lifelong partnership. He's out of her league, since he's handsome and drives expensive cars and parties with the rich and famous. Furthermore, he's in town for a job, not for ever. It would never work, or would it?

I don’t read a lot of fantasy romance and glad I took a chance on this. This was such a fun read. It grab my attention from the first chapter. I love the attraction between Devraj and Isadora. The fantasy element gave it a great twist. I need to now read the rest of this series.

Thank you @netgalley for a copy of the book.

I really struggled with this one. Firstly I was happy to see an Indian character portrayed as a super hot alpha, when often they are just the geeky sidekick. However, I wasn't very keen on the way he never listened to Isadora. I also thought that the character development arc was a bit off. He didn't really commit to the relationship until near the end of the book and I found his backstory and the way the other women in his life were portrayed a bit much. The subplot about the trafficking ring was a bit yuck, and overall there was just too much going on. I also really found Isadora difficult to relate to, she was super annoying and wasn't honest with herself and didn't communicate with Dev honestly until the end. In fact they both didn't.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book and all opinions are my own.

Reading this book, I felt like the author was trying for too many things at the same time — small town romance, urban fantasy, murder mystery, former Bollywood star hero. It was too much for just one book, so none of the tropes felt like they were executed thoroughly.
The humour also wasn’t for me.
I probably won’t read any other books by the author.

I love this paranormal world that Juliette Cross has created. Witches with different talents, vampires, werewolves (hello Alpha!), the sisters pets and other paranormal characters/creatures that I can't wait to find out more about them. Juliette loves to tease us with little glimpses of them.

Isadora, the sweet, introverted, plant lover was great but the character I loved the most was Devraj. A South Asian Indian who was once a Bollywood star and loves attention, drew me from the beginning. His yoga scenes in his yard? Yes, please.

This is an opposites attack, slow burn, steamy, fun read. I absolutely loved it and can't wait for more.

Don’t Hex and Drive is the second book in the Stay A Spell series. This paranormal romance is so much fun! What did I expect when you combine witches and vampires in my favorite city of New Orleans. Devraj, vampire and Bollywood star, has to work some magic to get close to Isadora, introvert witch and nature lover. Don’t Hex is one of my favorite reads this year. Physical copy was ordered for my bookshelf. Thanks Juliette and NetGalley for the ARC of this title.

Don't Hex and Drive is the second book in the series. I have to say I enjoy the titles. This is the story of an introvert named Isadora, who also happens to be a witch. And a charming Bollywood actor and vampire, Devraj.

Isadora would rather spend time with pact and animal then have actual human interaction. However through that shy exterior, Dev is able to break down her walls and insert himself fully into her life.

Don't Hex and Drive was a great blend of paranormal and romance.

Isadora is not a people person. She's a very shy and introverted witch whose talent leans towards growth and healing. She teams up with the intriguing, devilishly handsome and flashy vampire Devraj or Dev. They both are on a mission to find out what's happening to some missing girls and who is behind it. Even though she seems immune to his charms, Dev truly enjoys getting under her skin and flirting with her. This story really makes me want to spend time in New Orleans. Cross's storytelling is truly unique and fascinating. It's such a fun and enjoyable take on paranormal romance and urban fantasy, And I can't wait to see what she does next.

Since reading this book, I have gone back and read the first in the series too. That's how much I enjoyed this book.

I was so excited to read Don’t Hex and Drive because I just loved Wolf Gone Wild and I couldn’t wait to be in this world and with these characters again! I was glad that the hero was a vamp this time — don’t get me wrong, my wolves still reign supreme, but I was looking forward to a vampire hero being in the driver’s seat this time and yes, that was an accidental pun at first, but now it’s fully intended. I was also jazzed to truly get to meet and know Isadora and nothing about this book disappointed me. It was just utterly fantastic and I enjoyed it immensely!

I loved Isadora and Devraj so much, they were both sweet and just absolutely adorable! Isadora charmed me (well, Dev did too) and I can totally relate wanting to stay home or hang out with dogs instead of being around people. Dev tugged on my heartstrings, he was kind and patient, but also a little devious and I loved it — I just loved both of them! Dev and Isadora were such a lovely couple and I think they’ll always have a special place in my heart the more of this series I read.

Don’t Hex and Drive entertained and amused me the whole through. It was sweet and warm, but also full of passion and heat. It might have made my heart ache but it also had it bursting with gooey love feelings too. I completely loved it and I’m so excited for Violet and Nico’s book next!

After reading Wolf Gone Wild, I excitedly dove into Don't Hex and Drive to find out which Savoie sister I would learn more about next. I really liked Evie from the first book, but I adored her introverted sister Isadora Savoie in this second book. It might have been because I could relate to her love of animals and being an introvert myself.

In Don't Hex and Drive, Isadora is literally run into by the ever charming Devraj Kumar, vampire warrior and former Bollywood star. Isadora is not going to fall head over heels for Dev no matter how hard he tries to win her over. Or that's the plan, anyway. The last thing she wants to do is get involved with the irresistible vampire who is only there to help his friend look into the sudden disappearance of women from local clubs. She is willing, however, to step up and help with the investigation. Her gifts as a Conduit prove quite valuable.

I can see why Isadora jumps to the conclusions she does about Dev right away--I mean, he does run in circles with some pretty high profile people and is famous himself. While she didn't recognize him right away, her sisters did. Underneath it all though, Dev is longing for something more than all of that. He misses having a place to call home. He's really rather down to earth and wants to prove to Isadora that there is more to him than what she believes. He certainly won me over. And I loved Isadora and Dev together.

My minor concern regarding the first book in the series did not exist in this second one. The romance is centerstage, but the mystery of the women who have disappeared is a consistent and strong plot line throughout the novel. I found Don't Hex and Drive to be a combination of sexy and suspenseful--and just a whole lot of fun. I also enjoyed spending more time with the Savoie sisters and cannot wait to find out who will be the focus of the next book in the series.

oof, this book took me almost 2 months to read. i absolutely loved the first book in this series, but my life/the world changed quite drastically from may to october, so i really don't know if it was me, the book, or the world screwing with my reading. either way, doesn't really matter. i wasn't a huge fan of the hero, so could have been that too. i just didn't click with the characters like i did in the first one, and it wasn't as adorable and funny and all that jazz. but like i said, really don't know if it was me or the book - i'll still give the next book in this series a go.

Whoops! I didn't realize this was the second book in a series! I'll definitely be going back to read book 1 now, but I do think this book could stand on its own! I loved all the paranormal characters in this! Vampires, werewolves, witches...such a fantastic mix!

This is a sexy, spicy story that will for sure raise your temperature! It's perfect for romance readers! There's a book 3 as well, so I look forward to reading that!

I was provided a gifted copy of this book for free. I am leaving my review voluntarily.

I ended up quite liking this! I'm mad at myself for not getting to this ARC sooner. I really liked Isadora and Dev's perspectives. I haven't read the first book so I missed a few of the connections I'm sure but those characters were a present in references in this one. I thought it was a fun adventure, but it lacked a little drama for me. Everything felt a bit to easy. I also quite enjoyed the worldbuilding and other characters - can't wait to read about their stories in the future. I think I'll keep an eye out for the first book as well.

I "bloody" loved this one!!!!......and I am kicking myself for not writing my review sooner....like immediately post reading it sooner!!!!....so I could have maybe? remembered all the really adorable quotes that I loved from this book.... and was unable to save from the Netgalley ARC copy I received.

This is the second book in this quirky paranormal fantasy series and it is my absolute favorite book to date by the hugely talented Ms. Cross (even though I do have to say that I really did enjoy her "Vampire Blood" series immensely as well) .

It had all the elements that I love in this particular genre...most notably Isabel and Devraj .....they were two characters that I totally adored and enjoyed....it was a witty, quirky, entertaining and charming read...I can hardly wait for the next Savoie sister's story to follow .
