Sample only...and I’m so excited for this. A retelling of the Cinderella story, with a modern perspective, hints at a very interesting idea. I’m hoping it will live up to my expectations.

This was such a nicely varied sampler. There were BIPOC author/stories, LGBTQIA+ author/stories, contemporary and fantasy. I enjoyed reading through them all. The ones that left me needing more and that I'm defiinitely going to be picking up are:
Cresent City
Cinderella is Dead
We Are Bound By Stars

These were the perfect opportunity to dip my toes in and see which I wanted the full novel experience of.

Great sampler, with good length extracts. I've already read The Gravity of Us, and have Cinderella is Dead on preorder (thank goodness!!), but now I want to read the rest! The Great Godden and We Are Bound By Stars particularly stand out as 'must reads'.

Great sampler of highly anticipated YA releases for this years YALC. It was so enjoyable to get a taste of these awesome books.

Enjoyable openings here. I'd read more of Cinderella is Dead and We Are Bound By Stars, the latter of which is waiting for me to get to :)

This is a great sampler! I'm particularly looking forward to reading Cinderella is Dead and House of Earth and Blood. I've loved Sarah J Maas's books so far so I'm always excited for more books by her!

Great selection of books for #AtHomeYALC thank you to Bloomsbury for the samplers. Most looking forward to reading Cinderella is Dead. I have the hardcover currently at the top of my TBR. 

Bloomsbury are knocking it out of the park for titles recently released and upcoming releases.

Cinderella is Dead is the book I’m most looking forward to in this sampler (after having already read Crescent City ❤️). The cover is beautiful and I like the LGBT take on it so I will definitely have to read more!

It was really great to have the chance to sample some of these books at home. I haven’t been able to attend YALC in person yet so this was a great chance to join in.

I wasn't sure how I was going to feel after only reading short sections of these books but, I think I am more likely to pick them up after reading the excerpts. I was most interested in Cinderella is Dead and The Gravity of Us, both of which I intend on reading soon. I think overall the contemporary books were easiest to pick up from a small section but I’m intrigued by them all. It was a great way to decide which books to prioritise reading soon.

I wanted to read Cinderella is Dead book so this sampler really worked for me. There are six samplers and i added some of them into my tbr.

Really lovely selection of title samples, some of these books were already on my To Be Read list and as such this has encouraged me to pick them up sooner. And there are a number of titles I now need to order because the sample has peaked my interest. I am now desperately awaiting my pre-order of 'Cinderella is Dead' by  Kalynn Bayron due out in August as it seems a like such an original twist of the classic fairytale.

Definitely recommend picking up this sampler for any lovers of YA.

Thank you guys so much for uploading this! I am so sad that YALC isn't happening this year but getting an insight and a taste of these fantastic books was an absolute blast and it made my first day of digital YALC an absolute delight.

Such a good idea! It is lovely to read a sampler like this stay in the safety of my home! I will definitely be picking up some of the books with samples in this, especially Cinderella is Dead which sounds incredible!

Downloaded especially for Meg Rosoff's The Great Godden and it didn't disappoint! Giving me serious "I Capture the Castle" vibes. I loved the quote "The actors assembled, the summer begins." Beautiful cover too.
