I’m not sure how I feel about this one still. I liked it while I was reading it but I found it very forgettable. I did really like the characters and the story line.

Accidentally in Love has been on my TBR list for several years now, and I just can't make myself get past the first chapter. Sorry! I'm sure someone will love this, but it wasn't for me.

Accidentally in Love by Belinda Missen

Katherine and Kit’s relationship is love to hate each other at the start and you follow their journey as that starts to change.

The story is a bit hard going as it basically spends too much of the book following her family’s dynamic and her relationship them which is well. There is really not very much time on the romantic side to really call this a true romcom.

This was cute! If you like THE HATING GAME or a worklplace enemies-to-lovers, this is a great read. A great romcom, with a fun dynamic between the two leads. I had fun!

I completely loved how witty all of the characters are. I found myself giggling with some of their comments and things that they said to each other. Other than the romance part I really enjoyed the relationship between Katharine and her brother. As I have an older brother I definitely related to her. Their relationship was so realistic and so witty and just fun. At the same time, you could really see how much they really cared about each other.

From the beginning we see Katharine having a hard time with everything she has to face, but yet still finds ways to come out better afterwards. Straight from the start I thought that the first guy, John, that we see her with was going to be it for her. I thought they were going to work everything out. I loved the banter that they had but then I got flipped 180 degrees. In the best of ways!

I think Katharine’s story was so genuine and just fun. As a person that loves reading helpless romantic books this book definitely hit the spot. I loved all of the people Katharine had close to her and how strong she was through everything.

A big part of the book was art as well. I loved how in detail it went with some of the art and really showed Katharine’s love for art and museums. It was so great to see how much time and effort she put into her passions in any way that she could. The fact that from the beginning Katharine gets overlooked because she doesn’t have the right connections, and is not a man really shows just how closed-minded people are and how much that can affect someone’s life.

Katharine was able to overcome everything thrown at her and was able to stay confident and fall in love with the person she was meant to be with.

Anyone that is in the mood to read a great romance book, especially with it turning into that time of year should definitely read this fun read!

I enjoyed this sweet romcom set in Sheffield and found I learned a lot about the art world.

I liked the romance between Katharine and Christopher/Kit but thought it could have started earlier in the story. I also enjoyed the importance of family and community in helping Katharine achieve her goals.

A quick read with some funny moments.

Nice to have a book that has a setting that is not London - lovely to have it set in Sheffield and a really enjoyable read.

I couldn't read the book although it seemed like a fun light read with a bit of enemies to lovers and coming of age. I really sorry for miss it, but I didn't get to download it before its deadline closed, but it's one of those books that is on my list to read
.
Thanks to Belinda Missen and HQ digital for the chance

Tried reading this one and it just was not meant for me. This does not mean that it is not a good book, I just was not in the right place to be reading it and have decided to not try picking it up anytime in the near future.

I cant get into this one. I really wanted to like it but I just can't get myself to keep reading it. I always like to give the books a fair shot but I can tell even from just trying the first few pages I really dont think I'm going to be able to get into it.

Unfortunately I couldn’t get into this book. I tried multiple times and want something I overall enjoyed reading.

The concept that “he’s mean to you because he likes you” drives me bonkers, so I had to push myself to keep reading past the first part of the book, in which, well, the main character is being treated rudely by a man who ends up liking her. I did enjoy the discussion about sexism in the workplace and how women are treated when there is a “boys club” in the workplace. As someone who is thinking about starting a small business (it’s been on my mind for a very, very long time), the way that Katharine worked so hard and managed to start her own small business was very inspiring. I really enjoyed the dynamics within Katharine’s family, which were healthy and reflected strong, positive values. I also thought that the juxtaposition of a relationship starting for one character with the relationship of another character ending encouraged readers to consider looking at the end (a life-long healthy marriage) at the very beginning (starting to date).

This is the story of Katharine and Kit, two characters who are similar and different in their own respective ways. It is told over 33 Chapters and from Katharine's point of view, that will go by too quickly for the reader. Wrapped up in the story the chapters will fly by as the reader finds themselves addicted to the story.
From the outset this book is intriguing and engaging both of which ensure that the reader is kept interested. One of the many things to love about this book is the many different character interactions. Although the main characters are Katherine and Kit, there interactions with their friends and family are simply brilliant.
Thoroughout the book you can not only see the character developments but also how the different relationships change and grow. The reader will find themselves not only invested in what happens to Kit and Katherine but also the other relationships that show up through out the book.
Overall this is a fun and quirky story that is engaging and interesting. The reader will find themselves going from tears to laughter in a blink of an eye, infested in every detail. Whether those tears are happy or sad, well you will have to give it a read and find out. This book will be certain to leave the reader wanting more from Belinda Missen

Super cute book! I saw other reviews where people struggled because the relationships developed later on in the story but I didn't mind. I loved the sass and laughed out loud.

Thanks for the opportunity to review this book.

This was a fun, realistic, contemporary romance that made me love the characters and want to visit an art gallery.

In any contemporary romance novel, the key ingredient is the chemistry between the two characters. Kate and Kit share amazing chemistry! Moreover, the surprising part is, when they first appear together, I did not even see them as a couple. Kit came off as pompous and conceited, and I didn’t even see the connection between him and Kate. This was a welcome change from the usual cliches you read in a romance novel. But as the story progresses, you see how nice they are together and how they work things out.

Similarly, I also loved the prominence of the supporting cast. The author doesn’t focus only on the relationship, but also spends ample time to put the supporting characters in the spotlight, which is wonderful! She did such a wonderful job with Kate’s family. I loved Adam and thought he was a perfect brother. Adam and Kate’s father, and Fiona are Kate’s cheerleaders and I enjoyed their dynamic and uplifting nature. Moreover, the author writes the character in such a realistic manner where you immediately connect to them. Kate is wonderful as the lead and I liked her quirky personality. It was a fun ride witnessing her road to starting her own gallery. Even John was interesting

Probably the only thing which I thought to be better was the pacing. I loved everything about the story but personally felt the author over-described many scenes. At times, the pacing seemed to slow down due to the same. Moreover, once I adjusted with pacing, it unexpectedly speeds towards the climax.

Otherwise, “Accidentally in Love” is just adorable, and I really enjoyed it!
