An encouraging book to parent children to our strength. A profiling tool comes along with this book to walk you through how to leverage on your top strengths that can be built up and become an enjoyable process. The first portion of the book helps you to identify that no parents are perfect and it takes humility and wisdom to not compare with others but to strive and flourish in your own strength. To parent children with the goal of raising them up in an environment that they know you love them while teaching them to learn how to take no for an answer on things that they want but are not good for them. Learning parenting style that suits our personality and strength has the potential to make this journey much more enjoyable. I'm reading this book in preparation of a upcoming newborn that I may be more ready to raise up a child given the challenges I have heard from every parent.
