I love this author’s books, and I was so excited to read this festive one.

I really enjoyed this book. It captivated me right from the start, and I found myself totally immersed in the story.

The characters are so real, they all felt like friends by the end. I really liked Meg, but I also was surprised to like Tom straight away too.

They seem like an unlikely couple on the surface, but deep down they are actually quite similar. I really wanted it to work out for them.

This is a wonderfully evocative book, it will really give you a warm festive glow. The plot flows so perfectly, and it will completely transport you to another place. Highly recommend it, it’s never too early to start your festive reading!

This was such a sweet, cozy Christmas book. It had just the right amount of romantic tension and was a joy to read. I highly recommend it with a cup of hot cocoa on a cold winter night leading up to Christmas. Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for this free ebook in exchange for an honest review!

If Every Day Was Christmas by Donna Ashcroft, is a heart-warming and immensely enjoyable page-turner full of warmth and charm. This is my first novel by Donna Ashcroft, and I was delighted and truly enjoyed it.

This story has Meg Scott planning to spend her first Christmas in the village rather than going to stay with her dysfunctional family. She runs a Christmas shop that is open all year round and she loves all things festive, often dressing up as an elf. However, when her Mum and sister turn up planning to stay, Meg knows her fun festive feelings are in danger of being replaced with the usual family dramas. Tom Riley-Clark is visiting the village to help his friend by bartending at The Apple Cross inn. He hates the idea of Christmas and anything to do with the festivities. However, they do say that opposites attract and that certainly seems to be the case for this couple . . . but he has a huge secret that he’s not sharing, one about his past that could stop their developing relationship before it has any chance to grow.

This was such a great book to start feeling better. It has everything you need to get cozy with a blanket, fire place and hot cocoa. It is a feel good rom-com book. This is a light and easy read to help you get into the Christmas mood.

If Every Day Was Christmas by Donna Ashcroft is a magical holiday romance and I am here for it!

I had not read any of Donna Ashcroft's other books, but I will be changing that. This book had an easy to read flow, relatable characters and a storyline that is filled with Christmas magic.

I will definitely be re-reading this book over my holiday vacation curled up in front of the fireplace and in the glow of my Christmas tree lights!

Thank you to NetGalley and Bookouture for kindly providing me with a digital copy of this book for review.
Who doesn’t like a snowy Christmas book set in Scotland? Probably people like our lead male Tom who does not care for the festive frolicking. Then he meets Meg, who wears glitter and dresses like an elf everyday! I think it would be fair to say this is an opposites attract romance.
There’s more going on here with marital issues, grief, trust and betrayal all being explored. I really enjoyed Donna Ashcroft’s writing and found it very warm and cosy. Sometimes I did feel things were taken to the extremes and maybe lost a bit of believe-ability- maybe it’s just me that needs to believe in the magic of Christmas more! Definitely enjoyed and wouldn’t hesitate to pick up another from this author. 3.5 stars

What is not to love a book with a Christmas theme and also romance.

Meg loves Christmas and she runs a Christmas shop and cafe in a Scottish village where everyone knows everyone and is a friendly community. Then we have Tom who is the complete opposite to Meg he hates Christmas and everything to do with it he comes to help his friend Davey out with bar work and putting in a kitchen. When Meg and Tom meet each other there is chemistry between them can opposites attract.

I really enjoyed this book and would read more books by Donna Ashcroft thank you for the chance to read this.

Really enjoyed this book, at the end I realised it was second in a series but I'm glad that it doesn't detract from the enjoyment and I didn't feel like I needed it to follow this one. Set in a village in the Highlands of Scotland with lovely Christmas traditions, a great set of characters and where everyone looks out for each other. Its nice to imagine that such places exist and that snow can be wonderful and enchanting and not a grey slushy nuisance. The main characters all grow and learn through the book and there is further comedy relief by some well written animals. Will definitely help you get into the Christmas spirit.

If Every Day Was Christmas was a charming small town novel. Meg owns a year-round Christmas shop in her small Scottish town and she loves all things Christmas. Tom, however, is a complete Grinch. He is in town helping out with a friend's pub, but opposites attract and past secrets are revealed.

This book had so many elements that I love--small town setting, hate to love/major difference in relationship, and of course: Christmas! Of course everything was predictable but I never mind this when it comes to holiday reads. I'm in it for the warm fuzzies and this book delivered. I would definitely read other holiday stories by this author!

Thank you NetGalley, Bookouture and Donna Ashcroft for gifting me an advanced copy of this book in exchange for my honest review!
Readers are taken back to the small town of Lockton at the start of the Christmas season. This can be read as a stand alone but I loved revisiting some of my favorite characters from The Little Village Of New Starts! In the first book, Meg was a side character who fought to save her year round Christmas store. In If Every Day Was Christmas we get to see Meg and her store in action during the holiday season. Meg is Christmas obsessed. She comes into work dress as an elf, wears glitter EVERY DAY and only listens to holiday music. And she doesn’t care if you don’t like it. Meg learned a long time ago that Christmas was a magic day and decided she wanted to live a life where every day is Christmas.
Tom Riley-Clark meets Meg on his first day in Lockton, and while they couldn't be more opposite, the attraction is instant. Tom has a bad history with Christmas and hates the holiday. He cringes when he sees or hears anything related to the holiday. Meg and Tom run into each other over and over and it gets harder each time to deny their feelings. But are their differences too much? And will Tom’s secret ruin it all?
This was my second book by Donna Ashcroft and her second book set in the small town of Lockton, Scotland. I loved the first book and while this can be read as a stand alone, I loved revising the characters from the first book. Meg is a little eccentric, but she was a fun main character. I liked her confidence and sureness as a woman without needing to be mean or harsh. Tom and Meg both felt realistic and likeable throughout and the drama was kept to a minimum. The chemistry was hot without being too steamy and things stay clean!
Donna Ashcroft has nailed the sweet, small town romance troupe once again. It’s so easy to get sucked into her stories and fall in love with her characters. If you’re in the mood for a cute Christmas romance to get you in the mood for the holiday season, look no further!

An enchanting Christmas romance that will warm the cockles of your heart, Donna Ashcroft’s If Every Day Was Christmas is a heart-warming and immensely enjoyable page-turning full of warmth and charm.

Meg Scott is absolutely besotted with Christmas. Nothing gladdens her heart more than tinsel, mulled wine and mince pies and she is so enamoured with the festive season that she has opened a shop in a small Scottish town where Christmas is celebrated every day. With her first solo Christmas fast approaching, Meg is determined not to let the fact that she will be by herself spoil her favourite holiday. Sadly, however, all of Meg’s hopes and dreams for a quiet Christmas hit a snag when her warring family descend en masse on her doorstep! So much for a calm and tranquil Yuletide! Still, Christmas is a time for miracles where even your heart’s desires come true as she soon discovers…

If there’s one thing Tom Riley-Clark hates more than anything else in the world, it’s Christmas. The festive season is certainly not a time for celebration and jubilation for Tom who would sooner hide until January 2nd then sing a Christmas carol or munch on a mince pie. When he comes to the Highlands to help out an old friend, he makes it abundantly clear that he does not want to even hear the word Christmas mentioned – until he finds himself getting up close and personal with Meg under the mistletoe! Will Tom end up believing in the magic of the holidays? Or has he had too much eggnog?

As their feelings for one another intensify, Tom and Meg quickly realise that they are falling head over heels in love with another, but with Tom’s secrets weighing heavily upon his shoulders, will he end up losing the woman who has come to mean everything to him? Or will a Christmas miracle provide them both with the happiness and fulfilment they’ve been searching for for so long?

Donna Ashcroft has written a feel-good Christmas romance that is pure magic from beginning to end! If Every Day Was Christmas is a warm-hearted, witty and wonderful tale that is simply irresistible and even the grinchiest of grinches cannot help but fall in love with Tom, Meg and this uplifting and enjoyable romantic tale that you will want to read in a single sitting.

Fun, enjoyable and a delight from start to finish, If Every Day Was Christmas is a holiday romance that is a must-read for fans of Holly Martin and Lucy Coleman.

A heartwarming and easy read. Perfect time of year to read a book like this, I couldn't put it down. The location sounded stunning and the storyline was engaging. Sometimes the characters said/done things that was a little unbelievable but I enjoyed it all the same.

Such a cute read, Tom and Meg are opposite in every way- she loves Christmas and he hates Christmas and everything associated with it, but as you read on and they get to know each other you realise they’re not that different really. Such a heartwarming read about moving on and looking forward with hope. Great Christmas and romantic fuzzy feels, perfect

This is a delightful festive read, full of all the details which make up a heart-warming, festive reads. The pace of the story is just right and I also found the characters likeable and well drawn. There is a real community feel between the villagers. There are one or two who are not immediately so symppathetic but you come to understand why.

With a beautiful snowy, Scottish setting, the stage seems set for the story to unfold. As some wrestle whether they can trust again, you are willing them to take a leap of faith. Meg seems to embody the Christmas spirit with her optimism and sparkly costume. She doesn't take herself seriously and immerses herself in all things festive. Her relationship with her family is far from straightforward but friends and family are centre stage in the story. This is a great Christmas read and one of my favourites this year - so far!

Thanks to Bookoutre for a copy of the book

Loved this book! Tom is running away from his past, Meg has decided not to go home for Christmas. They are opposite in every way- she loves Christmas and has a Christmas shop. He hates Christmas and everything associated with it. This was a heartwarming read about moving on and looking to the future. Lots of lust, love and Christmas cheer.

What a delightful read!

I love Christmas anyway, and almost think I found my spirit twin in Meg, so this book was a great read to ease me into the Christmas season.

It paints an idyllic picture of a little village in the Scottish Highlands, where everyone knows everyone and don't even get me started on the festive traditions. This story combines just the perfect amount of humour and romance with Christmas joy and is enough to convert any Grinch to a Christmas-lover!

Lockton, a small village in upper Scotland where it seems to snow every day sets the scene for the book. The central character, Meg, is a woman who embodies Christmas year round, She owns a Christmas shop in the Village. Tom is an outsider who recently moved to Lockton and has closed Christmas and all that comes with it , in his life.

The book touches on family issues, friendships, coming to terms with ones past and lots of Christmas spirit in this heartfelt book. I really liked the village's Promise Tree.

A very nice Christmas story which I am sure will be loved by all who love Christmas and reading Christmas books.

Thanks so much to NetGalley and Bookoutre for the opportunity to read and review this book. The release date is 11/9/2020.

It doesn’t suggest this is the second book in a series but I suspect it is as it follows on so well from The Little Village of New Starts and has some of the same characters involved. Both stories are set in the Scottish Highland village of Lockton and both are fantastic reads IMHO.

He is the antithesis of Meg as he hates the idea of Christmas and anything to do with the festivities. However, they do say that opposites attract and that certainly seems to be the case for this couple . . . but he has a huge secret that he’s not sharing, one about his past that could stop their developing relationship before it has any chance to grow.

With burst pipes causing floods, demonstrations of community spirit, friendship developing and fresh starts beginning, this is a lovely story of community, dreams, friendship and romance. There are several romances, including a second chance one, and it is a heartwarming read that is delightful to escape into – it even has a reindeer to add to the festivities!

Thank you to Bookouture and NetGalley for my copy of this book which I have voluntarily read and honestly reviewed after thoroughly enjoying reading it!

A sweet blend of Rockstar and Christmas in this seasonal romance.

Meet Meg who loves Christmas, has her own Christmas shop and wears elf outfits and glitter, and Tom an ex-rockstar who’s hates Christmas for the emotions it causes, who is hiding away from the world and denying himself music.

But Meg and Tom aren’t so different after all and need to let go of the facades they’re holding onto to have their happily ever after.

I am now going to check out more by this author.

Thank you to Bookouture for my copy of this book and for letting me take part in the tour. I love Christmas (maybe not as much as Meg) so I was looking forward to diving into this one.
Meg LOVES Christmas. I mean LOVES IT. She has a Christmas shop/Café which she has open all year round. She is seriously into the festive season. I have never met anyone so as into Christmas as Meg! I really liked Meg. I could see us sitting down for a hot chocolate and a chat in her wonderful café or a sparkly cocktail in the Apple Cross Inn.
Tom is very dreamy. You can tell under that gruff exterior is a heart of gold. I just wanted to give him a big hug and let him get all his troubles out.
I love the idea of the promise tree and I’m thinking of doing something similar myself this year. It sounds like such a good tradition.
This book was sent in a beautiful little village in Scotland. It is a real postcard village covered in snow with a real community vibe. It’s the perfect place for a Christmas getaway but you’d need to pack some very warm clothes and your snow boots.
This book had a vibe that there has been a story here before. When I looked at Donna’s other books, I was right. The Little Village of New Beginnings is also set here. This is on my TBR and I will definitely be reading it as I can’t get enough of this village. I think this book can be read as a standalone you just get the feeling that there’s some stories for other characters that you have missed.
This is a beautiful story about letting go of the past, healing and forgiveness. It’s a great book to curl up with inside the warm with a hot drink.
