This is another brilliant addition to this series – even as an adult I look out for the next book in the series being released!

I love the images in this series and this is a delightful introduction to Steve Jobs – a person who I find interesting as an adult – he was so determined to succeed and his innovations and ideas really had such an impact and helped change the world of technology.

This series is an excellent introduction to some of the well-known, and less well-known people that have had a great impact in our lives through a variety of areas.

I love the variety of people chosen and the mix of backgrounds that they have too and that there is an equal mix of genders and ethnic backgrounds too – literally everyone can be embraced by this series

It is 5 stars from me for this one – a delightful read and one I will be very highly recommending!

Steve Jobs by Maria Isabel Sanchez Vegara is another release in the Little People, Big Dreams series, which I have reviewed frequently on here. I just love these little books. They are always packed with facts about the person who they are writing about and full of colourful illustrations throughout.

This book is about Steve Jobs Steve grew up surrounded by inventors, in sunny Silicon Valley, California. He and his friend Stephen Wozniak channeled their love of computers into their own inventions, building a successful company from Steve’s garage. Steve thought that computers were the future, and his big ideas would transform the world and the way people use technology.

I found this little book full of easy to read, with great Illustrations throughout this small book.
It's one you should definitely buy for your little readers so they can learn about him He was a genius!

I am so glad these books are being published and I highly recommend all of these books

Many thanks to Frances Lincoln Children’s Books and NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I did find this book really interesting; I've read a fair bit about Steve Jobs before (particular interest in his involvement with Pixar) but didn't know a lot that was covered in this book! The only thing I would've liked is some mention of his work with Pixar as that's something that a lot of people don't realise and it'd interest a wider variety of people.
As always with the Little People, Big Dreams series, this was a really informative book that was easy to digest and had lovely illustrations.

Whilst still a worthy instalment in this series, this one did let me down a little. It felt like it could have done a bit more to encourage STEM research and highlight the important of collaboration. Despite this it was still a good intro to his life.

I absolutely love this series of children's books by Maria Isabel Sanchez Vegara, and this book is such a beautiful new edition for young people to learn about the creator of Apple, Steve Jobs.

I can't wait for new books in this series and I'm so grateful to get to read these!

Steve Jobs by Maria Isabel Sanchez Vegara.

This is my second book from the series "Little People Big Dreams". It narrates the success story of the pioneer of the personal computer revolution and Apple Co-Founder Steve Jobs. Like all other books from the series, this book has beautiful illustrations along with the story.

Thanks to Netgalley and Quarto Publishing Group – Frances Lincoln Children's Books for this e-ARC

Apple technology is everywhere but there was a time when it wasn’t. It was the dream of a young entrepreneur sat at home in his garage, that entrepreneur was Steve Jobs.

Born in San Francisco, Steve Jobs was adopted as a baby. He was an inquisitive child who wanted to know how things worked and understood from an early age that you should do what you are passionate about. It was at an electronics club that he would be introduced to the computer and this would see him create a company and technology that would revolutionise the world.

It is hard to imagine that the geeky Jobs who dropped out of college would be the man to change the tech world. Driven by his ethos to think differently and be creative, he wanted his designs and products to make life easier for everyone, it is safe to say…mission accomplished.

Delightfully illustrated with bright and bold artwork and with a story told in short and simple sentences, this is an inspirational read and proof that you should do what you love and make a success of it. At the back of the the book there is a short overview of his life which includes key facts and dates and a historical timeline featuring photographs.

Steve Jobs was a genius. Tragically, his life was cut short by cancer but his impact on the world is clear for all to see. Little People, Big Dreams: Steve Jobs is due to be published on 6th October 2020.

Recommended for 5+.

With thanks to Netgalley and Frances Lincoln Publishers for the ARC.

A beautifully colourfully illustrated children's book telling the story of the visionary behind Apple. I love this collection and can't wait to see who is next to receive the honour of being immortalised in one of these books.

The 'Little People, Big Dreams' çoncept of books are an excellent idea of how to introduce people such as Steve Jobs to youngsters.

The author gave us a wonderful introduction to the man who along with his best friend, has changed computers and telecommunications.

I learned something new as well reading this beautifully illustrated book that the founding father of Apple or Apple Macintosh as it once was; was adopted.

As I said, I love the idea of these books and think they are a must have for schools and at home to encourage the search of knowledge that is so important for children.

Thank you to Netgalley for the eARC of this excellent fount of information.

I did not know much about Steve Jobs before reading this, only the bare bones: Founded an IT company before the term IT was even a thing, and worked on making new technologies both usable and affordable for the layman.
... not saying everybody can buy apple stuff, I am saying there's a difference between electronics solely used for research and common home appliances.

I did not know that he was adopted, or that he travelled to India and was into meditation which lead to his opinion on design and usability. Again, this series taught me things and it's a nice entry way to a new story. Kind of like you would start research at wikipedia to get a basic idea of what your topic is about and then go from the further reading material provided.

But instead of having boring wiki commons pictures, this book is colourful illustrated.
Would recommend.

The arc was provided by the publisher.
